A gorgeous stay, beautiful scenery with options for walks and swims and a lovely environment. Equipped with everything you would want and a responsive host. We always have a lovely time when we stay here and will be back again!

I would be hard pressed to remember a better equipped house. the hosts had literally thought of everything-from crabbing buckets to pizza cutters. on top of this of this to house was absolutely pristine and everything was very new and extremely well laid out and decorated. this is a fantastic base for up to two families to explore the local area. two minutes from the beach and from the local hotel. can't recommend it highly enough!

Spent a lovely time over Christmas... nice walk to the town along a promenade type path (dog loved the pebbled beach). Great views over the water, lovely big dining table for us all to get together for dinner, enough space for us all to do our different things ...and enjoyed a couple of dips in the hot tub at the end of a fun day! Didn't travel too much around the area, but Dunoon itself was nice and took a walk round nearby puck's glen which was worth the visit if you like country walks All in all, great place to stay Thanks Cam

We enjoyed our stay at the lodges and had a lovely time with all the family celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. James was amazing and always on hand to respond quickly when ever we asked anything. I highly recommend the lodges as it’s peaceful and quiet. A+++++++++++

Spacious and comfortable house. Easy walking distance to the beach with stunning views across to the Isle of Arran (especially in the snow!). We enjoyed our second stay using it as a base for visiting family in the area. Elise was very helpful and responsive - thank you.

Wonderful place! The house and location are both fantastic. The house is spacious, well appointed and very comfortable - Ann has thought of everything & is a very responsive host. The views are absolutely beautiful and we saw basking seals every day along with a variety of birds. Great walks. We loved everything about Stone's Throw, Lamlash and Arran itself -already planning to go back!

Tommy’s place was a truly remarkable experience. We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 children and the house was spacious enough for all of us as well as still cozy so we could spend time with one another. The house is located within walking distance to the train station, the beautiful Loch as well as other tourist spots. It was also easy to commute to Glasgow, Edinburgh as well as explore Balloch. I would definitely recommend this place for people who want to spend some time exploring Scotland. Thank you Tommy for being a fantastic host!

Tommy’s place was a truly remarkable experience. We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 children and the house was spacious enough for all of us as well as still cozy so we could spend time with one another. The house is located within walking distance to the train station, the beautiful Loch as well as other tourist spots. It was also easy to commute to Glasgow, Edinburgh as well as explore Balloch. I would definitely recommend this place for people who want to spend some time exploring Scotland. Thank you Tommy for being a fantastic host!

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

Acadia was the perfect property for our recent trip away with friends! The house was exactly as described and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. All of the information we needed was shared by Lisa in advance and she was always just a message away! I would definitely stay again and recommend the property for a family get together!

James was a great host. The place was nice and clean, and the good location made it even better. The convenience of the location added to the overall experience, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
