Holiday rentals with a balcony in Rome

Simona was a fabulous host. She advised on booking visits to sights and organised a taxi from the airport for us. She also very kindly allowed us to have an earlier check-in and a later check-out. The flat is spacious and comfortable, and it was great to have a dishwasher and a washing machine to use too. It’s location is in a lovely residential area, with a local supermarket around the corner and fabulous restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed walking around Rome but also had the luxury of the metro station Lepanto being a 5 minute walk away and buses leave from outside the building. We also used Uber taxis, which always arrived within a couple of minutes of booking.

I had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly friendly, and the communication was smooth and easy throughout the entire process. They were super responsive, always available to answer any questions. The location is perfect for discovering the authentic side of Rome while still being close to all the main sights. The neighborhood is charming, vibrant, and full of character. Plus, it's just a 15-minute walk to the Vatican, which made exploring so convenient! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Rome experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Xystum in Trastevere was perfect in every way. It’s in one of the best parts of Rome on a charming street and close to everything. The home is spacious and well-appointed, very private, and very homey all at once. Alojsia is very kind and responsive. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing home base while exploring Rome as a couple, small friend group, or family!

This apartment was spacious and so beautifully furnished! The location was perfect; steps from lively Campo dei Fiori, w/excellent restaurants, bars and shops and very walkable to several major Rome sites. Our host, Nadia, was lovely and responsive; after she arranged for our transport from the airport, we received a personal tour of the apartment and all of its amenities! There was even a bottle of Prosecco and crackers waiting for us upon arrival; how fun is that? Totally recommend:-)

Wonderful 4th floor walkup apartment on the Via Frattina, just a few minutes by foot from Spagne metro (and only 3 stops from Termini). Surrounded by high end shops, peaceful plazas, and good restaurants. The host is both friendly and communicative. Highly recommended!

Rosa’s place was just what the four of us needed. It was close to the EVERYTHING. We mostly walked everywhere we hoped to go— the pantheon, Spanish steps, trevi, etc. All the amenities are great. Lavazza coffee maker was delish and the teas and chocolate were a nice touch! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. What this listing doesn’t say is how amazing all the restaurants around this area truly are. Roscioli bakery is steps away from this place! Amazing pizza! Also Hostaria Costanza for some stellar seafood/pasta. Stop looking elsewhere. Stay here.

Great location, apartment is as described.

A home with a breathtaking view that I had used to prepare for me on the day of the wedding. Perfect location for photos. Lorella is very friendly and helpful to make the stay in the villa very pleasant. Super spacious both inside but also outside, especially for summer for those who want to have lunch or dinner outside with the many grills and many tables available.

The amenities and the view are amazing! There are a swimming pool, a tennis court, a massive private garden, along with lots of common areas indoor and outdoor to hang out. Would definitely recommend to a large group! Drawbacks to consider: have to climb onto the bunk beds in two rooms; if you forget anything valuable behind you will never get it back!

Everything is exactly as it is presented in the pictures. The place is a great value for money, a great spotlight in Rome, very well connected to the city center (we almost walked all the distances) very clean and comfortable. There are nice coffee places, a top rated Gelateria and a couple of tasty food restaurants in the area as well.

The most important thing about this apartment is the location. I liked it better than even monti district, for example. The streets are cleaner, everything is close by (shops and restaurants), a 15-minute walk to the Termini, and central shopping is within the same time by foot. The wifi is unstable, this is an issue for those who work remotely like we are. Otherwise, everything is great

Fantastic spot right in the middle of the Trastavere area. Restaurants and cafes right outside the door. Easily one of the best spots ’ve stayed in around the world. Fabio was great and very communicative. When our flights were delayed by two hours he was able to let us have a late checkout. Great place! Would highly recommend!

Great host and even greater property! Location was perfect with an amazing view!! Everything was close by within walking distance! Alberto and his family were very helpful in the days leading up to the trip and even afterwards!

I stayed at Andrea and Carlotta’s place for almost a month on my Rome vacay in December. The place looked cozy and clean in the photos so that was a deciding factor for me. The space is beautiful like the photos, spotless and the layout is perfect for two or a family of 3. The hosts are very responsive and sweet, you really feel taken care of. The house has all accommodations like plates, cutlery, coffee, laundry, all new and shiny. Honestly we felt truly at home, I texted Carlotta a lot about random stuff and had some extra requests (like a small Xmass tree 😂🎄) and always got a friendly and sweet response. So much so that we rented from Carlotta a second appartment just steps away for my family that arrived in Rome later in the month- also a beautiful place. It was a perfect solution for a family trip. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s a gem! Also I applaud the cleaners for doing a very thorough job. Rent without hesitation. Thank you for a great Xmass guys❤️😘

We felt like we were at home every time we returned to Aurora al Colosseo from touring around Roma. It was so comfortable warm and well equipped. A supermarket downstairs is a big bonus too. Looking out the window at the Colosseum was priceless. We would make a trip back from Australia just to stay at Roberta's. This apartment has made our stay in Rome as part of our European trip so enjoyable and unforgettable. Thank you Roberta and thank you also for all the little extras. Excellent apartment. Great Location.

Great stay, super clean apartment and host was very responsive and accomodating. We did find the location a little out of the way, public transport is difficult to rely on in Rome so we found ourselves walking anywhere between 25 mins to an hour to reach anywhere significant. We were happy to do so, but think it’s an important think to note!

Great location and lovely apartment. Within walkable distance to the attractions. Alternatively the metro is nearby. Giuseppe is also very responsive to our queries. Assisted in arranging for transport to the airport with drivers that can be trusted which was great.
