Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rolling Hills Estates

We chose this place for its location on a quiet side street a 6-minute drive from our daughter's house. But it also turned out to be convenient to numerous restaurants and shopping areas, not to mention an easy 35-minute ride to Malibu. Don't be misled by the unprepossessing exterior. The interior was modern, spacious, bright, sparkling clean, and beautifully furnished, with tasteful and functional updated kitchen and baths. The listing photos are totally accurate. There was plenty of elbow room for ourselves, our daughter and son-in-law, and their 6-year-old son (who also enjoyed the wooden playscape). A final note: the only things Sara asked of us on checkout were to put the keys back in the lockbox and make sure the furniture hadn't been moved. No burdensome cleaning chores required, a refreshing change from some of our previous Airbnb experiences.

Beautiful interior and exterior spaces and a fantastic, spectacularly well stocked kitchen that serious cooks will love. And Brett was the perfect host!

Frank and Lenka’s place is conveniently located within 15 min of major attractions- Universal, Warner Brothers, Beverly Hills to name a few. Some other reviewers said that the road noise in the front of the house didn’t bother them, but we found it pretty loud. Parking was easy with the included parking pass, although I tried to park on the side streets when possible because the cars constantly flying by the front of the house made me nervous! We appreciated the nice appliances in the kitchen and access to laundry. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly during our visit so we didn’t get to sit outside on the private side patio, but the cushions seemed a bit dirty. Frank and Lenka were quick to respond to the questions we had.

Great stay in LA! Very close to Universal Studios and easy to jump on/off the 101 to get to/from Hollywood and elsewhere. Carlos is a very responsive and friendly host, and the space is exceptional. Bed is comfy, and very nice linens are supplied. Great view from the balcony. Grocery store and gas station are nearby. There is a flight of stairs to/from the space, so if you have trouble with stairs I'd look elsewhere. Upstairs residents are quiet, and the parking space worked out perfectly. Highly recommended!

Great location, short walk to the cutest little shops on one side and the ferry on the other.

Elizabeth's place was perfect! It was just the right amount of space for the two couples. There were extra beds in each room, and a roll-away bed that we used for an additional family member to stay Christmas night! The backyard had plenty of seating to arrange however guests would like. Having 2 bathrooms is always a plus in an airbnb! We hosted Christmas dinner there and the kitchen and dining area held us all! The short distance from airport was great! Elizabeth was SUPER responsive, no matter what time of day or night it was! That was the most important part of our trip, considering it was the week of Christmas! We plan to try to stay at her place every time we visit LA if it is available!

Anastasiya’s Place was a perfect location, not far from Disneyland at super cheap Lyft fares super private location no issues. feels very at home after the first night. I will definitely stay here again when I travel up for a Disney vacation. Thank you Anastasiya

All I can say is the host and the unit are amazing. All the things you need away from home that mosts host miss Muhi was spot on. This is an excellent property.

The house was very clean and newly updated. Garage parking behind a packed gate made coming and going so easy as there is only street parking on that block which is difficult to find! I had questions and was able to reach the host easily and they responded quickly toon

Ron's place really is a Gem! So lovely and has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful, comfortable stay. Ron was super attentive to any questions we had and always responded promptly. Beds are comfy, towels are dreamy, and the entire home is squeaky clean and feels brand new! We already booked our getaway for next year =) Don't hesitate, Ron's place is wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s place. I plan to stay there again the next time I’m in LA.

we enjoyed our stay in LA the house. We were a large family group of 14. The house was very clean and spacious. it catered for all our needs. The host Irene was very responsive if having any questions. If on LA with a large group I would definitely go back. l will recommend this place to our friends.

We had an amazing stay with Vanessa in Malibu. A really gorgeous place with an incredible view surrounded by wildlife and tranquility. Really good bird watching opportunities from both the deck and the lower viewing area. Incredible sunrises. This was also the best stocked airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Plenty of everything, especially in regard to kitchen supplies. I highly recommend this Airbnb - you won’t be disappointed!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The location was great and close to Universal Studios. There was 8 of us. We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. Check in and out was a breeze. Hot tub was hot and very much appreciated after long days of walking. Gal was great and always responded to messages! I would stay here again and definitely recommend.

Nice 3bd 2 ba house. small backyard and even smaller fence. Something to consider if you are bringing a dog. the kitchen was well stocked in some areas, but not in others and some of the drawers were off the tracks. owner did supply an actual crib for us, not just the pack and play shown in photos. he was also very quick to respond. We are not memory foam mattress people, so the master was rough for us. one of the other rooms had a firm bed that we enjoyed. Overall we had a nice stay and enjoyed the location, including the park at the end of the block. We won't be staying again, but only because of preference for our family, not because of anything wrong with the house or owner.

Wow! We loved Stephen’s home. A beautiful location amd extremely responsive host. The thai meal that was cooked for us was the BEST we’ve ever eaten. Couldn’t recommend more highly amd hope to return soon ❤️

We had a great stay at Nathan’s villa. Before we checked in, Nathan was responsive to every single question in a short amount of time, and coordinated with Terranea to provide what we needed (such as a pack n play). The villa is spacious and perfect for a family, everything was just as described, and we would recommend this stay to anyone. The peaceful home away from home we needed during these times.

I will never get tired of Shawn’s awesome properties and how attentive he is to all his guests. My experiences with Shawn as a host not just this property but I have stayed at other properties he owns have always been beyond satisfying. You can expect everything to be like the pictures or better and he will answer questions promptly for whatever you need. I’m thankful for hosts like Shawn and I would definitely recommend this property time and time again. One of my favorites indeed. Thank you Shawn!!! and I forgot to mention shawn even send us good treats to enjoy with my family. 5stars because that’s all I could give but definitely a 10.
