This is one of the most beautiful places you will ever stay! High up in the mountains the views throughout the day are stunning and ever changing. You need a car to get up to the cottage and then have the freedom to explore this incredible mountain range. Some great walks and caves to enjoy. The cottage itself is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Everything you need in the kitchen for self catering. A wood burner heats the radiators and quickly creates a cosy feel. Beds very comfortable and lovely warm shower. Terrace at the back is a comfortable place to relax and eat and appreciate the view with or without a bonfire. A memorable and precious stay. Will happily return any time!

Beautiful accommodation in which everything you need is available with a fantastic view. Laura is a wonderful hostess. You can ask her anything and if it is possible she will arrange it for you. Beautiful area with great hiking opportunities, from easy to challenging.

We stayed here for two weeks. It was myself, my wife, a 5 year old and twin 3 month olds. The accommodation was more than comfortable for all of us. Monica was a perfect host before and during our stay. We were greeted by her upon arrival and provided with an extensive document outlining all of the house recommendations, property amenities and local activities such as hiking and other excursions. The property is a little slice of heaven and we spent most of our nice days with some hiking followed by relaxing and playing by the shared bbq area which in our opinion had the best view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Monica was very responsive to all of our questions and requests during our stay. The pool was closed but we used the hot tub twice, which was very relaxing. The local restaurant in Sillico is less than a 5 minute walk and has great rustic Tuscan food with local ingredients. Thanks for an excellent experience we endeavour to come back hopefully next time in the summer!

What can I say ... Elisabetta was a great host. My boyfriend and I didn't know the area, we wanted a quiet stay to celebrate his birthday, so for the first time we went to the mountains. It was a beautiful experience, and Betty guided us and recommended nearby activities and restaurants, helped us with the wood-burning stove (which we had never used before). He is a friendly and very kind person, available, and his breakfasts were really appreciated, it was nice to wake up and open his breakfast drawer. We also had breakfast outdoors with a great view, even if it's January, under the sun we had a great time. Its jam was great, and also the service it offers with the menu for lunches or dinners, great. We used it one day, the fried chicken was really good. The house was comfortable and cozy, her heart cried to leave it. Very quiet area to relax. Thank you so much Betty!!

Antonella's cottage is a wonderful place, completely immersed in nature and with a beautiful view of Lake Vagli. Antonella was very hospitable and kind in providing us with directions to activities and restaurants nearby. We had a great time, we hope to be back soon!

From the photographs of the listing, it was already a special place, fortunately not for everyone. Once you cross the threshold, you forget about everyday life, even if for a few hours. A den to take refuge to realign nature and yourself, exactly as I would have done.

We had a wonderful stay at the small house by Lake Vagli. It’s well-equipped and offers absolute tranquility with starlit nights and a cozy garden perfect for stargazing or watching squirrels. This spot is ideal for nature lovers who enjoy a slower pace. Phone signal is limited, but Wi-Fi works great, allowing you to disconnect without feeling isolated. The lake is just a few minutes' walk away, with clear and warm water for a refreshing swim, though there’s no traditional beach. The garden’s jacuzzi, loungers, and awning provide comfort even on hot days. The house was a great base for exploring Tuscany, and we loved returning to the peaceful haven each afternoon. Note that a car is essential, as the nearest restaurants and shops are about a 20-minute drive away. We highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a quiet escape. We’re confident the hosts will continue to maintain this lovely spot, making it an even more special retreat in the future.

Ultra peaceful and beautiful context. If you are not afraid to be out of the way, if you are looking for a connection with nature (without fear of insects and possibly encountering wild boars/owls and co) then go for it! We went there in October and the season is perfect for walking and picking up chestnuts.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house is stylishly furnished. The view over the lake (from all rooms) is unbeatable. The nearest shopping facilities can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Communication with the hosts was very straightforward. We'd love to come back!
