Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Roanoke County

We wanted to stay in the heart of the city - you can’t get any closer to the center of Roanoke than across the street from the town square! We walked everywhere we went, ate at amazing restaurants, and got fresh baked breads (at different bakeries) each morning - which you feel compelled to do after smelling Jimmy John’s (below you) bake their sub rolls every morning. Conny let us know by checking on us that he was there if ever we needed him. But we had no issues and plan to return. Now after the other reviews, I feel obligated to mention that the complex is a beautiful reconditioning of a very old building. As such, sound certainly carries. You can hear the neighbors, the rowdy people in the square, over revved cars and motorcycles. But, that is part of being where the action is. The adorable couple upstairs and their precious dog try to be quiet, but no one can be silent on old hardwood floors. We knew all this going in, and so it did not bother us. We shall return!!

We enjoyed our stay here. Great apartment with everything we needed for the weekend. Becky was friendly and communication was great. We would definitely stay here again when needing a place to stay close enough to Virginia Tech.

This is my favorite neighborhood in Roanoke, a quick walk to Grandin Rd amenities and very safe. I have family that lives in the area and was visiting. The space was clean and inviting with everything I needed to feel at home. It was great to have access to a washer/dryer and Brita filtered water. Communication with host was easy when I needed help figuring out how to increase the temperature.

Second time staying with Bob and nothing changed I’m still as happy to have chosen his place then ever before. We had to break up our trip because sadly we booked a little later than expected but Bob communicated well like always. 😇🤩👌

Loved having 2 sitting areas, one area that the adults could talk and the other for the kids. Great kitchen with everything we needed, made breakfast both days. Bedrooms far enough down the hall that we didn’t wake the kids in the morning. They loved the sound machine although it really wasn’t needed. Easy to find location and parking right outside the door. Great place.

Convenient location. Quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, stores, etc. Just a few miles of I-81. All the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the fenced in, secluded back yard. Great for our dog to get some exercise.

This was a good location for our needs. Great to be able to walk to Grandin downtown. Also great to have our dog with us. The park down the road was good for her to play. Anna was very quick to respond to our questions.

We had a wonderful experience at the cottage. We were in town for our boys wrestling championship and the cottage was only 15 mins a ay from the venue. Evan was accommodating when we experienced some issues with the television, he responded quickly and even made a trip over to the cottage with another TV so we were not without one during our stay. The cottage was clean and inviting. We will definitely reach again if needing a place to stay

We had an absolutely amazing stay. We would stay again. There is a lot to do in Roanoke. The house was clean, safe and you felt right at home. Everything you need is right there. You won’t regret staying!

Missy’s place was exactly as described—nice, cozy, and just like the pictures! She was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family. We felt so comfortable during our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Emily’s place is absolutely beautiful—spotless, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Emily is very responsive and goes out of her way to make sure her guests have a great stay. Whenever we return to Roanoke, this will be our top choice!

The home was wonderful! There is a Park nearby if you wanted to go for a walk, Otherwise very peaceful. Worked perfect for a place to stay for work.

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

Allison was very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is well kept well decorated and comfortable for our stay. Mariners point and her rental allows access to lots of social and sport activities making the stay that much more enjoyable. Access to 12 pickleball courts large workout facilities and indoor/outdoor pools.

We have stayed at Kathleen’s condo numerous times, and it is always perfect! The kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked, the bedding is comfortable, and the whole condo feels like home away from home. Kathleen is an attentive and friendly host. We look forward to going back!

Five times in and Matt/Krista’s place is a little slice of heaven. This gem at Smith Mountain Lake isn’t the biggest out there, but it’s ideal to get away for few days to rest and recuperate. The view is simply to die for and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back a 6th time!

Convenient, comfortable and great view. Chris was helpful, flexible, and very responsive. Visited during an epic cold spell and missed the full potential of the lake access which I would live to enjoy next time

Great stay. Cute condo right above restaurant and store. Brought my SUP and used it a lot. Lots to do at Mariner’s landing. Great food and service at The Landing, Bruno’s and Bottles and Bites. State Park 7 minutes away is excellent for hiking. Lots of friendly neighbors! We’re ready to go back!!

The place is as pictured, comfy and clean. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend and stay again.

This was our second time staying at Angela’s place. Her home is very spacious, well-maintained and clean. We loved the easy access to nearby conveniences and the quick drive to Blacksburg. Angela was very responsive in our communications. We’ll stay here again in the future.
