Wow. What a beautiful, magical space. From the treehouse itself to the land, to the host and even those who came through before me (the amount of art and signatures in the treehouse are a testimony of the magic!) — absolutely beautiful. Rob is a great host and you can really feel his love for the space and for his visitors. The animals made me feel so safe and welcome! Wonderful companions to have on a solo trip. :) The “camp” bathroom exceeded my expectations! Very clean, given the setup. Bring bug spray and peppermint essential oil (to put on a cotton pad by the bed) to keep the insects away, plus there’s a super handy mosquito net to hang around the bed that Rob provides. From the water and coffee setup to the wagon to transport luggage, Rob really has a thoughtful approach to hosting this space. Take time to unplug and listen to the land. It’s magical and healing. Thank you again, Rob!!

Second time staying here, if we go back to the area there will be a third. Very clean and cozy. Host is top shelf!

Second time staying and everything was wonderful!

This was our first time ever saying at an air bnb and I’m so glad Tracey’s was our first stay because it was amazing. She was super friendly and helpful. The suite was exactly what we needed. I have nothing bad to say about our experience. We even had the sweetest kitty greet us at the door anytime we had to leave and come back. We will always try to stay here anytime we come to Spencer!

Valorie and Jim were the best hosts! So friendly and helpful. We ended up adding another night extra day and they were so accommodating. The house was beautiful and very peaceful. We had to come to town for a funeral but just being at their place eased our stress and worries of the outside world. My only regret is we weren’t here before they closed the pool for the season. It’s beautiful. We will be back!

As expected, a lot of wildlife.

This was a last minute find for my husband and I travelling through the state with our dog. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived! The host was friendly and very quick to respond for any questions I had. This air bnb had a wonderful and cozy aesthetic, located in a very peaceful and quiet area. The drive to get here was very cool, and we appreciated being able to kick back in the hot tub after a long drive. They had everything we would have needed and even had a happy new year message and music playing on the tv when we walked in. Very welcoming place, and you can tell the hosts take pride in providing an excellent experience. Would definitely recommend!

Where do I begin! Sherri’s home was the absolute PERFECT place to detach, rewind, reset and make cherished memories. From the moment we turned onto the gravel drive, we felt complete peace and tranquility take over. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay at Shad Serenity and plan to stay each time we visit our daughter.

Angie and Doug's country home is so quaint and peaceful. We arrived to see two deer running through the yard. Every aspect of the home brought back memories of times past spent with my family. Also, Angie and Doug made sure we had everything we needed. Just lovely! Thank you!!
