Farmstay holiday rentals in River Somme

Isabelle is a lovely host, very friendly & welcoming and her place is great value for money. We stayed here with our dogs who loved the well fenced yard. No fireworks at New Year which was very important to us. Beautiful forest (forêt de Crécy) nearby to go for long walks, but in winter be sure to check the hunting calendar before going! The kitchen has all necessary equipment & utensils, and the shower room is spacious. The bed unfortunately was too small and too hard for us, but that’s a personal preference! Electric heaters throughout the cabin worked well and got warm quickly. Good water pressure in the shower and no shortage of warm water. Great Wifi. Car can be parked within the gates which makes unloading luggage much easier when you have dogs and/or kids running around. There are neighbors on the front & sides but the back looks out on a nice field, it felt private, calm & very quiet. All in all a lovely Airbnb!

Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpfully spoke excellent English. The room and bathroom were immaculate and set in beautiful gardens overlooked by an historic Abbey. The use of the sauna was most welcome and we appreciated the delicious breakfast with home produced jam. We hope to be able to return.

We had a delicious stay at France's. We were hosted very well with great sensitivity and kindness.

Very nice setting, the chickens and llama as well as the play area appreciated by the children. The little touches (cupcakes, tea, coffee) are appreciated. Possibility to park several cars in the courtyard.

Adorable fisherman's house in which it's nice to stay for a few days. Very well located, the rental is quiet, with a small courtyard in the back, a bench in front. Inside, nothing is missing and the stove is a real plus! The house is perfectly maintained and equipped. It is ideal for visiting the charming village of St Valéry and the area.

Great stay with family and quiet, a attentive and available host. The accommodation is nice and located in the heart of the farm and not far from everything.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sophie's lovely place, which was very clean and comfortable. A great place to retreat to after a day of exploring the beautiful countryside. On our first evening we were met by Sophie, who was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend a visit.

Perfect stay for a quiet night, surrounded by nature. The farmhouse is charming and the welcome warm. Ideal for relaxing in peace, I would highly recommend it!

We spent a day and night in a yurt at the Tao de Max farm. The environment is peaceful and unspoiled. the proximity to the animals makes the stay even more pleasant. the yurt is spacious, clean, equipped and well insulated...The duvet was even too much at night. The visit of big spiders reminds us that we are indeed part of the countryside 😅 Max offers delicious homemade cooked dishes. A caring, welcoming and discreet host. This is an experience I would recommend, reconnect with the essentials. 2 days 2 nights would be even more enjoyable to fully enjoy reconnecting with nature.

Kevin is a welcoming, available and attentive host. We had a very pleasant family weekend, in Kévin's house, in the heat of the stove and in an environment conducive to holidays!

It was fantastic to spend the Christmas days in Sylvie & Koen's house! Everything was correct with the listing and Stlvie/Koen responded very quickly to a single question we asked. Beautiful decor, nice kitchen, cozy dining and living room. The beds are also sleep wonderfully wonderfully. They even rigged a Christmas tree where we could put our gifts underneath. Nearby wonderful hiking, nice villages and cities. Everything at your fingertips. The coast at St Valery, Ault and Treport is beautiful too. We will definitely be back, the summer time seems beautiful here too.

Had a lovely couple of days stopover here. Beautiful accommodation in peaceful countryside and alpaca was added hit with kids and puppy.

We felt right at home on the farm. The yard is lovingly designed and offers many retreats to linger. Max and his family are very kind hosts. The dovecote is as described on the pictures and offers a very special feeling with a view of the countryside. We will be happy to come back.

Had a great stay! Very pleasant and friendly reception in a magnificent environment, quiet in nature and very nice interior in the yurt and buildings around it. Very nice food, especially the brunch was great! Our dog was also with us, he had to stay on a leash because there were chickens and cats walking around, but just like we enjoyed the location and nature very much :) He (and we) especially liked the donkeys. Further down in the forest also very pleasant hiking! A plus, despite the heat and the pond nearby, we have not been bothered by the heat or mosquitoes at night.

The place is beautiful in a peaceful little village. Perfect for disconnection. The photos are accurate, the place is nice, comfortable and optimal. The kitchen and lifestyle amenities are spotless. The host is friendly and available, the accommodation is not so far from the sea, and a beautiful forest that offers beautiful scenery for hiking lovers. The internet connection is also perfect we did not encounter any problems at this level. Each room is equipped with a heater and a window to regulate the temperature for comfort. Everything is available (blankets, towels, gloves, cooking utensils). Parking is available just in front of the house. We had a great time.

We were actually completely satisfied. Only in the living room area we found it very dark, maybe you can do something here with artificial lighting. Maybe you could also prevent with a fly screen that so many flies and spiders come inside the house. Otherwise, as I said, very positive and we would book it again and again.

The house is great, completely suitable for children. We had a very pleasant stay with our friends. Laure was very kind and gave us all the necessary information for the smooth running of our stay

We had the pleasure of celebrating New Year’s with our family (6 adults) in this stunning house, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Both the house and the garden are absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The interior design and art are incredibly stylish, creating a unique and inspiring atmosphere. A highlight of our stay was the home cinema, which provided endless entertainment for us all. Olivier, the host, was fantastic—offering great tips about the local supermarket and market. Additionally, the house has a helpful folder with all the information you need for a smooth and enjoyable stay. This place made the start of 2025 truly special for us. Thank you so much, Olivier! Great family time for the Christmas holidays. The living rooms are very spacious and the bedding is good. The property is beautiful and cherry on the cake: the game room with all these wooden toys. We had a lovely stay. Émilie was very thoughtful and welcoming. Thanks Emilie.

We stayed here under a week but it felt much longer. Pauline’s house is beautiful, in a beautiful setting with calming and gorgeous panoramic views from every window. The house has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored and renovated, with wonderful historic details accentuated. It’s possibly the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in (and we’ve done a a lot)! Pauline and her husband were on hand and available, but very discreet. It was easy to go for walks straight from the house and even more to explore just a short drive in the car. We would love to return another time!
