My stay at Ludwig-Thoma-Straße was wonderful. The host was very friendly, and the apartment, with its large dining table, was great for a short stay and some work. The neighborhood had convenient parking in the shared university area. Regensburg itself is rich in culture, with its UNESCO-listed Old Town and charming Danube views—a perfect blend of history and modernity.

It was a nice stay over New Year's Eve in Regensburg. Helmut and his girlfriend were quick to help me if there was a problem. Both were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy.

This place was exactly what we had hoped for. Easy walking distance to the train station. The place was extremely clean and newly remodeled. The host was very responsive and let us know exactly what we needed to know for our stay. Loved this place and very spacious for just two of us.

The house was as described and was a truly incredible place to stay. We were looking through one of the books in his library and found 2 pages about this very house and how much work and effort was put into the refurbishment. The house is walking distance to bakeries, grocery stores and other conveniences. There is no parking at the house but it is a very short walk to the public lot that was empty. We stayed over Christmas and the owner had a small Christmas decoration we used as a Christmas tree. If future guests are interested to stay over Christmas it is important to stock up on food and supplies as everything closes down early on the 24th or even the 23rd as expected. We had a small amount of snow and it was about 2 C outside so it was chilly. There are multiple fireplaces that are intimidating but simple once you try. Finally, the house has very steep shallow stairs that we all slipped on once or twice. however there is a gate to keep kids safe! We recommend 100%

Jurgen & Judith’s place was amazing in every way. They have thoughtfully prepared each detail and are attentive hosts for the entire stay. The place was so cozy and welcoming, and was a perfect spot for us to celebrate Christmas as a family of 7. Judith helped with many recommendations and local ideas, as well as many thoughtful touches to make us feel right at home. this family obviously takes pride in providing an excellent place to stay, and they definitely succeed. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a warm and friendly place to stay near some gorgeous, walkable German forests.

We had a great stay at this beautiful place in the middle of the forest! Check-in was straightforward, and communication with the host was quick and reliable. Everything was very clean, and we loved the mix of modern comfort and rustic charm. The amenities left nothing to be desired, it had everything you need. The location is fantastic – absolute tranquility and complete seclusion, perfect for relaxing. There were seven of us and there was plenty of room to spend time together or retreat. Especially the heating with wood was a small effort, but it was a great fit for the overall experience and increased the feeling of getting away from it all. A great place to unplug – we will be happy to come back!

Tobias was very friendly and always available. The house has its charm, is very smartly furnished. If you're not quite upset with the new technology, it takes a bit to find your way around. The location is quiet, the apartment exactly as described. Overall a very nice, entertaining stay.

The location is ideal: quiet, but still well connected, so you can reach everything quickly. Particularly noteworthy is the hospitality of Katharina and Andreas – they were always available, gave us valuable tips and made us feel welcome. Apartment functionally and cleanly furnished. Perfect location to explore Regensburg by foot. Parking situation in all of Regensburg catastrophic, but who can do without his car for that is Regensburg and that?Apartment always worth a trip. I'm sure you'll be back.

We stayed as a family with 2 kids and it was a great stay. The apartment is bright, nicely decorated, modern and feels like home. The nook upstairs is very cozy. Just beaware that there is no elevator and the apartment is on the top floor buy that is already noted in the apartment description as well. It’s nice that there is a parking spot in the parking garage, it’s very tight though. So not ideal for big people or big cars 😅 but we managed. Ruth and her husband are very friendly, very responsive and flexible. Would highly recommend staying here again.
