Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Richland County

We REALLY LOVE Hidden Hollow!!!!! We came last year at the end of October and had such a beautiful and peaceful stay that we had to repeat it this year. It’s our 3rd stay overall. :) Everything is perfect you feel warmly welcomed by all the special touches that Kim and family leave for guests. As you approach and enter Hidden Hollow, it is as if you are transported back in time to a magical Grandmother’s home, complete with the modern touches you need to be comfortable. If you’re considering booking a stay—go for it! Walk the property trails, build a fire & make s’mores, play some games in the sweet living room, and maybe visit WildCat Mountain State Park for a hike and great views of the Driftless Region. Coming here we feel connected to nature and part of something beautiful and peaceful. We always hear owls and see the whole Milky Way at night. We bring our own food but Hillsboro looks like it has some nice restaurant options too. 100% recommend—we’ll definitely be back!!!

this is our second stay with a third stay this coming weekend. We really enjoy the house and the surrounds are beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in was seemless and communication was clear and timely. Therese is a fabulous host. We really appreciated the layout of the house. I was there with my children and grandchildren. The house is large and bedrooms were far enough apart so late sleepers and early risers were all comfortable. I would like to stay there next time I visit Richland Center.

What a comfortable home to stay in - we felt at home right away. It was immaculate, extremely well-organized, and easy to find items if needed. Mary Jo was generous with the coffee offerings, condiments and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The welcome basket and card was so thoughtful and generous! The outdoor spaces were stunning and peaceful. Loved the front porch and fire pit and the absence of traffic and noise was such a blessing! It was a wonderful home to relax in and even the TV choices were FANTASTIC. No instructions needed - if you wanted to watch TV, you push the remote and you are in. We appreciated a nice, clean home that showed lots of care. Thank you!!!!

Great place. So peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Sheila was open and welcoming, with a stocked wine and coffee bar, as well as snacks, fresh scones. Will be delighted to stay again.

John and Vickie are excellent hosts. They have a lovely home, warm, clean and comfortable and in a beautiful private setting. Its the thoughtful little touches that count and there are plenty to count. Toothpaste and toithbrushes in case you gave forgotten them... sugar, spices and granola bars in the kitchen.... excellent selection of pans and utensils.... powerful internet..... super comfortable beds with firm mattresses.... good pillows... the list goes in. Highly Recommended!

We always love visiting the Driftless region of Wisconsin - this was our 2nd stay at Bruce / Marji's home. We love the peaceful, private location and the views are stunning. A great place to unwind and relax with a good book and a glass (or 2) of wine. Cheers!

Third time staying here, and as always, a nice relaxing spot just outside Boscobel. Since our last visit, they have redone their small sitting area to include a much more comfortable couch for lounging. Highly recommend!

This location was super close to Wisconsin Dells. It only took us 20 minutes to get to Wis Dells, and it was well worth the price to stay outside of the city limits. Three bedrooms worked perfectly for our family. Thankful it had 1.5 baths and the garage was a nice feature as well! The host was helpful when needed. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful. Very quiet. Very comfortable. Very scenic. We weren’t in the middle of nowhere, but we were close…a most relaxing stay.

I live close by but needed a space to attend a virtual course as home with a young family would prove too distracting. The host accommodated my needs, gave me a lovely space to utilize, and was extremely responsive and proactive. The cabin is lovely. I didn't need to stay overnight at the space but couldn't help but think how fun it would be for a young family or friends getaway. Very clean, quaint, with a smart design to accommodate multiple people--three bedrooms! As a nearby resident, I can testify that this area offers amazing beauty and peacefulness. There's no place quite like the valley!

What a gem of a place! If you need accommodations in or near Spring Green, look no farther. The hosts are great, communication was easy and informative, the space is well appointed, clean, cozy, comfortable and even better than advertised. A coffee and cereal bar was a great touch but we opted for the breakfast (offered by hosts as part of their B&B booking and were not disappointed! It was delicious, they accommodated for food allergies/sensitivities and we left stuffed. I would highly recommend.

Teresa is a fabulous host who will do anything to make your stay memorable. Her rental is in an amazing location, right across from the state park. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is it.

We had some extra family in town and needed a place for them to stay. Barbara's place was absolutely perfect and provided everything we needed. It was comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyed thoroughly by everyone. Thanks again for making their stay so pleasant!

Our recent stay at Mary’s cabin was nothing short of magical. The area is truly picturesque, and getting snowed in was a delightful experience. It allowed us to fully unwind and enjoy the serene, peaceful environment. Our dogs had the time of their lives, running around freely in the snow and soaking up the tranquility. The Airbnb itself exceeded our expectations. Secluded and equipped with all the amenities we could ask for, it provided the perfect escape. Our favorite spot was by the fireplace, where we spent many cozy hours. Despite the cold and snowy weather, we embraced the beauty of it all and even managed to have a midday bonfire, surrounded by the stunning scenery. Mary and her family were incredibly kind and thoughtful. They came up to the cabin to plow and shovel snow each morning and evening, ensuring we were comfortable without ever disturbing our peace. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return!

Our trip exceeded all expectations. The home was beautiful inside and comfortable with such high quality amenities. The kitchen has stocked up with any utensils and pans you'd need. The hot tub was great and had a beautiful view to look out at. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Loved it! The host was quick with communication. The house is cute and right on a beautiful river with a dock and fire pit. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful and cozy cabin! It had everything we needed for our weekend away. The wood burning stove made for a warm an relaxing vacation. Definitely would recommend!

Kelsey was so accommodating to my groups needs. I’d ask a question/favor and she would respond quickly after with the approval. Very friendly host and respectful. It’s a nice remote spot but lacks much to do in town. Perhaps you may visit boscobel, Prairie du Chien or Richland Center for other activities.

Two families of young kids stayed here and had a wonderful time. The home is very child friendly with plenty of games and toys. The house is cozy and clean with a fun sledding hill on the property. We will return!
