Tom and Kat were amazing hosts! Great communication plus our arrival was seamless. Their property/house was absolutely stunning and was perfect for our stay. If we are ever in Christchurch again we will be staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Shaun and Vanessa’s Airbnb in Little River. Their eco-friendly accommodation was peaceful and surrounded by stunning views. The wood-burning hot tub was a fantastic touch, perfect for unwinding in the evening. In the morning, we enjoyed an incredible breakfast with fresh berries from their farm—such a treat! The bed was very comfortable, and waking up to the sound of a cow mooing was a charming countryside experience. Shaun and Vanessa were lovely hosts, and we highly recommend staying here!

Ryan’s place was beautiful, lovely and private was a perfect spot to stay for a family members wedding just down the road. Ryan’s communication was great and the place was well presented and lived up to expectations. I highly recommend coming and staying, you won’t regret it!

This is a lovely and very functional place with a laundry and hot tub! Linda and Vicky both are great hosts. We'd go back in a flash.

Heather was incredibly kind and gave lots of recommendations for both the local town and Arthur’s Pass. I would highly recommend this place for either a short or long-term stay. Just be aware Google Maps gets you to the right road, but not the right driveway.

Had an increadible time staying in Birdsong, Tanya was incredibly accommodating, warm and friendly. The home was beautiful and surpassed our expectations! Very tranquil, relaxing, cozy atmosphere. Even more increadible than in the photos! Couldn't fault the experience and would love to come again in the future, definately a must do. Highly recommend :)

Michael's property matched all descriptions perfectly. Communication had been great through check in all the way to check out. The property is located high up on Cashmere hills which unfortunately was out of scooter operating zone. You'll definitely need a car or Uber to get to the house. Overall, the property met our expectations and we had a comfortable stay.

Such a fun home to stay in. Constant talking points when admiring all the Retro decor. Hot Spa was awesome and well situated in the garden for ambience. Games room with snooker table gave us something extra and different to do when it rained. Awesome view of the harbour from upstairs. Easy walk to shops and main Waterfront. Plenty of options for crockery and cutlery. Retro heater worked well to warm upstairs from the unusual "feels like 1 degree" weather! We did not get to use the fireplace.

I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we had found a gem. The property is absolutely stunning, with every amenity you could possibly need. Whether it was the cozy and beautifully decorated rooms, the fully equipped kitchen, or the outdoor spaces perfect for relaxing, everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. But what truly set this experience apart was Frances. She is hands down the best host we’ve ever had! From her warm welcome to her prompt and thoughtful communication, she made us feel right at home. Frances went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, even leaving personalized touches that made the trip extra special. If you’re considering booking this place, don’t hesitate—Frances and her beautiful property will exceed all your expectations.

This was my best ever Airbnb experience. The beauty of this home, the decor, the cleanliness, comfort of the beds, proximity to the town center, the literature they left about the community, and things to do; every single thing was perfection! Instructions about closing up and the unique appliances were helpful. The beautiful bath products, the bedding was so gorgeous and comfortable. You might think I’m overstating, but I’m not. If I didn’t live so far away in Canada; I would be a regular!

if you are travelling to Christchurch with a small group then this place is for you. Great house, good size bedrooms ,great kitchen and Lounge, plenty of space. The house has everything you need for a great stay. The house is set in lovely gardens and has a terrific deck space. Hosts are great and very helpful, really recommend this place.

Great place in a great location and Cecile was so lovely and helpful! I can highly recommend; however, if you are travelling with elderly be aware the driveway is very steep and the stairs don't have handrails.

We've stayed at Megan and Ra's place three times now. The studio was very clean. Yes, there are some cobwebs but that didn't bother us. They were quick to fix the toilet and very responsive.

We have just had the most incredible holiday staying at Anji’s place in Cass Bay. The location was so peaceful and serene. The house was perfect for our family of four (teenage children) and our doggie Morphy. It was the most relaxing and restorative holiday we’ve had as a family. Lots of sleeping in, reading books, playing board games, swimming in the bay, walking to Lyttelton, kayaking, BBQs and blissing out in the spa pool. Thank you so much Anji :)

The location at Wendy’s place is excellent - an easy walk to town and restaurants. It was perfect for us, 2 couples travelling together. We enjoyed the 2 restaurants and the Beat breakfast place that Wendy recommended. The pantry items, milk, etc, were much appreciated on arrival + the little welcoming chocolates placed with the bath towels - a nice touch. Great information for Christchurch available in the house. We highly recommend Wendy’s place.

Beautiful spot in a very tranquil setting. The suite was perfect; lots of room, private and it had everything we needed and more. Without a car I wasn’t sure how easy this place would be to access but it was a short walk (uphill) from the bus stop. Loved our stay and how friendly, accommodating and helpful Jen was.

Amazing place. Beautiful inside and out (pool, patio dining, garden), modern, and immaculate. Everything was high quality from five star bedding to the well equipped kitchen. Hostess Jules was very responsive and friendly…The property sits in a nice neighborhood high above Christchurch, and our favorite part was on the other side (a short drive) - Taylor’s Mistake Beach and the world class walking trail above and past it. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was really nice.

Beautiful little place to stay, we were sad to leave! Great amount of space for us, comfy and clean. Everything was provided that we needed for breakfast and more including delicious treats! Pool was also fabulous for a swim. Sue and Greg are fabulous hosts, super friendly. Will definitely recommend!

Sue & Greg's place was so relaxing after a long day of driving in the rain. The bed in the enclosed bedroom was so comfortable. We were grateful for food when we arrived and the homemade quiche, muffins, and rhubarb for breakfast. Breakfast also included toast, granola, yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit, tea, and coffee. I wish we could bring our kids and grandkids and swim/hot tub.

Had a very relaxing stay at this peaceful B n B set in wonderful surroundings..we felt like we were in rural France as it was very quaint and charming.We could have had a party in the bathroom..it was HUGE!

This was a perfect base for visiting our family in Christchurch. Grandchildren are great but it was good to escape to such a pleasant location and there was free use of the pool!

Have booked the property for me and my girls to prep for my wedding and for us newlyweds to just soak in the moment. Perfect location. Close enough to the wedding venue and restaurants around, spacious, and very peaceful. Love how homey the house is. It was squeaky clean as well. Thank you for sharing your property.

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)
