The house is a perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes of North Wales. Cosy and well-equipped. Tremadog is a quaint little village with a great chippy. Porthmadog is just down the road, really handy for picking up supplies at Tesco, Aldi, or just having a wander. Our main adventures kicked off with a gorgeous walk near Betws-y-Coed, taking in beautiful lakes and peaceful surroundings. The next day was all about the coast: a refreshing sea swim, some fun cave exploring, and a long beach walk along the breathtaking sands of Black Rock Sands. Next a hike up Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) via the Pyg Track, the views were absolutely incredible. Finally, a relaxed day at Portmeirion, which, while a bit pricey, was still a charming and unique spot to explore. It's full of character, and there are some lovely woodland and beach walks nearby. Top tip: the local bus is brilliant! It stops just a few metres from the house and gets you to and from Snowdon in about 40 minutes. Thanks!

This little haven is located in the perfect place! The check in was easy and straightforward. The rooms were immaculately presented and spacious. The views from The Bothy are astounding and truly worth seeing in person as pictures do honestly not do it justice at all! We would 100% recommend to stay here if you are looking for a remote hideaway with beautiful walks and scenery! We will be returning for sure 😃

The cottage is beautiful. Set on a high point of the village. Everything is within easy reach. The cottage isn’t as secluded as the pictures might suggest. We had an amazing time. Thanks Danny

Nick and Charlotte are great hosts. They're very welcoming, and while the place can be difficult to find, they have done everything in their power to help with that. The location is excellent! It's remote enough that you feel hidden away from the rest of the world whilst not being too far from shops and restaurants as to be inconvenient. It is only a ten minute drive from the start point for the Watkin path of Snowdon and roughly 20/30 minutes from the other start points. Highly recommend for anyone looking to find peace amongst the hills.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at The Barn, set within the stunning Plas Meini Estate. The accommodation is finished to a higher standard than the photos really convey, so too the vast grounds which include numerous footpaths and loads of things for kids to explore and discover, including some four legged friends. The estate feels secluded and peaceful thanks to the long tarmac driveway but is just a few minutes from attractions such as Portmeirion and Zip World, both of which we enjoyed visiting. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a day out, with incredible views of the mountains and night sky. Overall, Andrew’s place is one of the best we’ve booked via Airbnb and we are likely to return at some point.

June’s place was wonderful, the location is great and within driving distance of lovely local villages and towns and also restaurants and shops. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The view from the hot tub was amazing and the garden was very private. We had a fantastic stay!

The Perfect Cosy Cottage. Whether you want an escape or a place to relax after a trip up Snowdon this cottage has everything you need including a private hot tub and a log burner. Set in a small village amongst waterfalls it really is the definition of relaxation. I can’t recommend this place enough, immaculately clean and a few little Welsh treats really made a lovely weekend extra perfect. 1000% will be back! We had a lovely stay at Jeston’s place. Ideally located to enjoy the beautiful soundings and be close to amenities. Our little boy loved seeing the sheep and horse from the living room window. It was a shame the steam train was not running during our visit as the track is right at the end of their garden. The main bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

The cottage had everything needed for a break and its location made everything in walking distance. The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable and communication about the booking before and leading up to the day was very efficient. Highly recommended.

Sue and Steve were really friendly and excellent hosts. The Stables was cosy, enclosed and everything we needed and more for a long weekend getaway. Sue and Steve were very dog friendly and our dogs and us enjoyed the enclosed garden. Sue and Steve had plenty of local recommendations of places to go to locally and places to eat. We’d love to come back and we can’t recommend highly enough.

My stay at Tyddan Waen was spectacular! Everything felt fit for my purpose; simply a home for me to fall into and take a much needed pause. Situated in a great location to explore the island of Anglesey and beyond …Carol and Dave showed me great kindness and hosted my stay seemingly effortlessly; though in all the detail and care I’m absolutely sure Tyddan Waen is a true labour of love- cosy, private, homely and totally inviting. One of the nicest Airbnb stays I’ve had to date - it simply has all you need to enjoy precious holiday time, perfect for coastal adventures…historic walks, and mountain climbing…. Tyddan Waen really has it all- the perfect place to borrow for a while, to enjoy the space that is unique to beauty of Anglesey. 🌟✨🌞

Amazing location! Vicki's home is perfect base for exploring Snowdonia. Close to a couple of lovely pubs and loads of facilities.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was idyllic, peaceful and exactly as described. We used the local pub on recommendation and it didnt disappoint, massive portions and great food! Lisa and Chris were so welcoming and helpful.... it was perfect, exactly what we had pictured for a celebration weekend away! Just breathtaking!

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in and around Beaumaris but this is my now my favourite. The house is much bigger downstairs than it appears from the outside with several cosy couches throughout the property and it was lovely and warm. The beds were really comfortable with lovely crisp bedding. The whole house was decorated beautifully and felt like a home from home. Even though the weather wasn't good it was really nice having the outdoor space and this would be great in summer with bi-fold doors open. The Central Bakery was a 2 minute walk for fresh hot croissants and bread, the shops and restaurant were all a short walk. I managed to park close to the property throughout the stay. Hopefully next time I come to Beaumaris I will be able to stay here again!

Had a lovely few nights away at Sarras beautiful cottage, wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was so well equipped and super dog friendly, perfect for our cockapoo Walter who loved the garden and dog toys and thoughtful treats. Our welcome basket was also enjoyed by us. Great comm from start to finish with a helpful guide to download prior to our trip. Very well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need and the separate reading room was perfect for our daughter who was revising. The cottage is on a road so you do get some passing cars but didn’t affect us as we’re early risers and it was secure with the gates closed for the dog. Beautiful central spot for visiting Anglesey and the surrounding areas, we’ll definitely visit again in the future.

Very comfortable, warm and inviting cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and extended our booking. Sue was a great host, good communication and very helpful with recommendations. Great area for exploring Eryri National Park, Anglesey and charming nearby towns with amazing castles. Highly recommend.

Glan Rhyd cottage was in a lovely location. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable. Steve was at pains to make sure that we were comfortable and encouraged us to walk in his garden. He helpfully suggested places for dining and they were good. The cottage bookcase contained guides and maps which we used to complete some great walks. There was a full compliment of kitchen accessories - fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster to name a few. The bathroom was great, shower hot and lovely towels provided. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. We recommend staying at Glan Rhyd if get the opportunity.

Great cozy little cottage in NW Wales. Nice base to do some hiking in surrounding areas, and despite it being quite rural there are some good nearby food options. Mark is a great host. We checked in a bit later than expected at 7pm and Mark was there to greet us and provided some nice local recommendations.

What a wonderful and peaceful place to stay with awesome views. You have to visit to take it all in. Great enclosed mature garden so very secure for our dog to roam around which gave us peace of mind. A lovely decking area where we sat early evening with a G&T in hand to watch the sun go down, this was after all late March! Everything is exactly how Sarah has listed it and to be honest we have never stayed anywhere with such a well equipped kitchen. The dining area is light and airy, great to stare out across the bay with a coffee in the morning. The lounge is very comfortable, the wood burner is an added bonus in the evening should you feel the need however that is a luxury as the heating system is very efficient. There was just the two of us so we used the master bedroom, very spacious and with an extremely comfortable large bed. Early morning coffee in bed gazing out at the beautiful view was very relaxing. Would we go back? Of course, it`s a no brainer. See you again Sarah
