If you are planning a stay in or near the Ardennes, the. Look no further. Centrally located within all the great things to see in the region, this home is one of the more spectacular I have ever had he chance to use via airbnb. The chateau and its property are beautiful and the hosts are helpful, very friendly and welcoming. Inside is well presented and will provide you with a cosy and warm environment. The smaller room for the kids was LOVED by our two and they even have a cupboard with toys and games for a rainy day in. Highly recommend!

Lovely fairytale place, nicely decorated, simple standard, which fits the price for those who don't need luxury. The oven was hard to heat, which was always the case. This was a very successful weekend in beautiful surroundings.

We stayed with 7 people and a baby for a weekend in Le Tulipier. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal. The stay is easy to reach via public transport (Waremme train station within walking distance), although a car is easy for transportation to walks in the (nearby) area. The accommodation was equipped with everything for a weekend and for the baby. In addition, it was also very quiet.

We stayed in the castle for one night in transit. This place is truly special! You will find an authentic apartment with new bathrooms. Our children enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful holiday accommodation in a beautiful area! For me, my friends and my baby this was a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle. A nice starting point for excursions to, for example, Maastricht, Hasselt, Aachen, and Liège! This is also easily accessible by train (train station is a 10-minute drive). Bas is nice, attentive and involved (he had set the heating nice and warm before our baby's arrival). The house was cozy and well taken care of. Recommended!

The apartment was unique, cozy and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and the concierge staff were wonderful. That said, the place lacked the sense that it had been prepared for guests in a personal way as it might be if you were working directly with an owner - no coffee, no bathroom amenities except for small bars of soap. Very bare and minimalist in that respect. We were given a set of instructions about keeping noise to a minimum and not doing laundry or taking showers after 10:00PM and told to remove all bedding prior to our departure. I've stayed in more than 20 Airbnbs to date and these guidelines seem atypical. We very much enjoyed the stay though and the location was central to all that we wanted to see in the area. Thank you!

Despite the ongoing renovations, the owner has managed to preserve the castle's authentic charm and character, creating a perfect blend of history and modern comfort. The castle itself is a masterpiece, with majestic rooms and breathtaking views at every turn. The renovation work was tasteful, ensuring that the space retained its historic soul while offering us all the amenities needed for a memorable stay. Edel's warmth and attentiveness, made our stay even more special. Always available to assist us, he always ensured our needs were met, making us feel like valued guests rather than just renters. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a truly unique and unforgettable experience!

Everything worked out great, super hostess. The price was fair, of course the stay in an old castle is not very cheap. The surrounding area is very nice, you can take many great excursions and also a bus stop is nearby.

We spent the holidays in Castel Bodeux and have had a very nice time. The house is located in a beautiful private park (where the manager also lives), overlooking the nearby hills. There is a tennis park + swimming pool (not used in winter) and nearby it is nice hiking and biking. The house itself is spacious enough for a large group (and warm!) Upon entering, there is a large connected dining room with bar on the right, on the left a sitting room, which turns into a pool room, a room with a foosball table, the sauna and finally the kitchen (which is much more spacious than the photos suggest). The bedrooms are different in size; some are large, others smaller, but the beds are fantastic and there are towels + bedding. With children, the rooms are a little noisy, but that's not strange for such a beautiful old house! One point: the cooking utensils (especially knives/cutlery) are a bit outdated. We love to cook with our group and especially missed good knives

We had such a lovely long weekend strolling the grounds and observing the peacock flock. The house itself was well-appointed and made us feel right at home. We met Mr Charles, the landlord, who was gracious enough to share some of the history of the chateau and that of the generations that inhabited it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, as well as recommend it to friends. Truly a special place. There is also a larger apartment available if you are traveling with more guests. the location was very good. everything is straightforward and nicely done. We were just there for a night. For a longer stay maybe a little duster. but everything you needed was there and the apartment was very close to the city and yet quietly located. Absolutely recommended for a short trip.

Very nice peaceful retreat. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful views from the window, walking into town is easy as it is mostly flat along the river. We had everything we needed for our stay. Towels were a bit small, but they gave us a bath towel for each night we were there, so it was fine.

The space is special with its mix of new and high quality amenities as well as antique furniture. The cleanliness is to be emphasized! The castle is located outside and yet right in the middle of shopping is 200m away and offers many possibilities for outdooor activities. In particular, we enjoyed the cross-country trails 15 minutes away.

Great place to stay. We enjoyed a lot. The castle by itself was worth the visit. We checked in after hours and the instruction was almost perfect. We had trouble locating the parking lot but we called them and they were able to help us. The room was clean. At first we felt that the room would be cold later but we closed out the curtains and became pretty warm. The breakfast was also great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room didn’t have any kettles or coffee machines. We understand that they probably don’t want to add something to the room which may interfere with the character of the room but a coffee machine in the public space is appreciated.

came for the castle, stayed for the cats. Leonard is an amazing host and the place is wonderful. Him and his team put a lot of effort into restoring the place and making it a pleasant experience. The room is nice and warmer than expected. Most of all, the hosts are super friendly, especially the kitties!
