Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Redcar and Cleveland

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Staithes. The property was great and we loved exploring the local area. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Great stay! Clean, warm and peaceful. Loads of space and everything you need for a home from home. Great value for money.

Stayed here for a 2 night New Year break, we were 2 couples. Everything about this cottage is outstanding; everything you would wish for with regards to cleanliness and comfort is exceptional. Everything is finished to a high standard. Having 2 bathrooms is a bonus. The log burner/stove is a great feature, and the hosts kindly lit it before we arrived, which made it very cosy. The hosts were very responsive, and answered any questions very quickly. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a fab few days with our pooch. Such a lovely cottage in a great location just by the water. We would definitely stay here again!!! David is great and so friendly and helpful. Five stars :-)

Full of charm and right in the old part of Staithes so close to all the eating places. very comfy beds and the house was warm and toasty within a few minutes of arriving once we switched on the fire and radiators.

Home from home cottage with everything you could possibly ask for. Lovely location, 5 mins to beach with plenty of restaurants, takeaways, pubs and shops within walking distance. Highly recommend Paddy's we will definitely be returning.

Very good accomidation

Perfect place to stay to be able to explore the local area. Lovely local restaurant and cafe. The views from the back windows is amazing. House was spotless and very cosy. Everything we needed and more. Will definitely be back as so much to more to see in this area. No issues parking on the street.

The Annex is warm, clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. Great location, handy shop not even a minutes walk. Off street parking. Close to the village centre, ideal for our needs. Friendly host, great communication and everything was perfect. We had peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would heartily recommend this for anyone interested in exploring this corner of North Yorkshire.

Charlie was really proactive and very helpful, providing clear instructions and information. The apartment is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach. Clean & comfortable. There are a few minor wear & tear things that need addressing like the chip in the bath and floors but nothing that stopped us enjoying our stay. A slightly later check out would be great, especially on a Sunday but again this didn’t effect our stay as we already had plans to leave early. We really enjoyed our stay and will no doubt return. Thanks for having us 😊

We just have come back from a lovely stay. We stayed for two nights, it was very good for families, we’ve got two young children and the apartment was quite also easy to get to the beach and high street from. Thanks so much!

Great place, clean, cosy. Short walk from the beach, from town. Surrounded by bars & restaurants. The host is helpful & communicative. Thank you.

PROS : Fabulous apartment. Modern, with high ceilings and a bit of olde charm. The apartment was very spacious. With distant sea views . Felt like a home from home. The cleaners are a credit to the company, as it was pristine. Top floor flat, with quiet flat below. Excellent location few mins walk to the small village centre. CONS : Try and overlook the shabby hallway, as the apartment iitself is excellent. The apartment is on the main road into Saltburn. In the bedroom you can hear the road noise, which affected our sleep. They hold your £250 damage deposit for 2 weeks. Which coincidentally is the amount of time Airbnb give you to leave a review. This has left a bad taste In my mouth, as you would obviously be hesitant to leave a bad review. Knowing they have your £250 damage deposit. They will presumably say, pay the very expensive £25 damage waiver insurance. ( I pay £50 per year for car hire waiver. ) They could offer an annual policy, ,to encourage repeat business.

The accommodation is fantastic. It's a great space to relax with great art work. The fire is phenomenal for cosy nights and for such a big open space the accommodation never felt cold (in February no less). The location is wonderful, just off the main street and overlooking the stream. We stayed for 6 nights and felt thoroughly relaxed by the end of the stay, enjoying pottering (usually punctuated with a snack at Dotty's Tearoom) and walking further afield on the clifftops. Parking in Staithes is at a carpark at the top of the hill, and even this was full when we were there (half-term), but we found on street parking further afield (there is a private carpark with loads of space, but it's pricey). The accommodation has a CD player and a selection of CDs, which we found refreshing rather than listening to playlists and seemed to enhance the slowed down back to basics vibe we got from the place. A fantastic holiday in a superb property.

We came for a 4-day get away an wanted to be near the seaside. Charlie's apartment right above the beach was absolutely perfect. The living space (one room kitchen, living and ding) was perfect size for the two of us and our 2 dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts in the morning and there were enough amazing restaurants and pubs nearby for a noon time pint and/or an evening meal. The Ship Inn was a perfect stop for a pint and the Seaview restaurant has amazing local seafood that did not disappoint. The apartment bedroom had plenty of storage and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom/shower was also very nice but the absolute best part of staying here was the view and closeness to the beach. We spent a large amount of our 4 days on the beach with the dogs. We walked along the beach as far as Marske and while the tide was out, over to Hunt Cliff exploring rock pools and searching for fossils. A 10 out of 10 for the location, the apartment and the host!
