Fantastic stay! The house was spotless and very well appointed. The location is just beautiful, with views of both the Vosges and the Black Forest. Marc-Andre is a great host - very responsive and provided lots of local information. Highly recommend!

Well designed cottage and great hosts. Modern, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, clean modern bathrooms, lovely large outdoor space next to a babbling brook. Hosts were very responsive, friendly and helpful. Sewen is a tiny quiet town with a single restaurant that was excellent. Need to drive to next town(s) for food shop, boulangerie and other restaurants. As with any rental, bring personal essentials like chef’s knife, paper towels, hairdryer, toiletries, extra pillows but otherwise everything was provided. Highly recommended for a comfortable, quiet get away in Vosges / Ballon mountains. Many hiking paths in the area.

We were very well received by Joan. Everything was explained to the last detail and clear agreements were made. Nice surprise/welcome drink were waiting for us. If we needed anything we could reach Joan anytime. The rooms were cozy, beds nicely made and bathroom linen provided. Our stay was blissful, all amenities were provided for a large group. In short, fantastic. The only thing we missed were separate towels for the Spa,too bad.

Perfect for shutting down!! The "cabins" are all individually in the forest as a tree house or swimming on the water. The place is simple but in high quality construction. In our cabin on the lake we had a Scandinavian SPA (warm water, perfect for colder seasons) overlooking the lake - fantastic! Breakfast is brought to the cabin in a basket in the morning and serves its purpose perfectly. For showering, you go to the main building, where large modern shower cabins are waiting. We were able to complete our trip with a walk around the lake and a small boat trip (good possibility for a picnic on the water). The staff is super suited and extremely helpful!

I had a pleasant stay in this apartment. The owner is very responsive, welcoming, and above all caring. She was able to guide us throughout our stay, whether on arrival or return. The necessary equipment offered was available. I advise because it's a secure , quiet place, where you can be soothed but especially close to the stations and easy to access. I recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and public transport. Very welcoming and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. I highly recommend this place.

A very nice stay with Christophe's, very accommodating ,with exceptional hospitality! Very pleasant little touches, we were comfortably accommodated. Guewenheim is very well located for sightseeing in Alsace and the village has pottery well worth a visit. Do not hesitate to go there.

The stay in Balschwiller village exactly matched our expectations of calm and tranquility. The place was well equipped and clean. The activities in the area (hiking, visiting) are many, pleasant and informative. Valerie and her mother are available and discreet hosts, always listening to our requests. If you are looking for a stay in a quiet setting with a beautiful area, don't hesitate!!

We spent 5 days at Caroline and Joël's place for the Christmas markets, we were 3 adults spacious accommodation (Bathroom a little small) and clean. Hosts welcoming and responsive if there's a problem. A little surprise was waiting for us in the fridge upon arrival very appreciated. We recommend it! Thank you

My husband, myself and our 19 yr old daughter had a wonderful 7 night stay here over Christmas. Isabelle is such a lovely and caring host. She had decorated the apartment so thoughtfully for the holidays making for a memorable Christmas Day. It was immaculately clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. While there were no wardrobes, this was no issue at all. There are ledges that run the length of the bedrooms and we placed our packing cubes of clothing on these which worked perfectly. As well there are hooks for hanging additional items. The village is quaint and quiet. We enjoyed drinking coffee every morning at the kitchen table looking at the view out the large windows and hearing the church bells. There is also a beautiful and easy 3mi. loop walking trail thru the vineyards/village accessible just a few minutes walk from the apt. We LOVED the nearby E.Leclerc Hypermarket for groceries and more. We would fully recommend a stay here!
