We had a lovely time. Doreen and Doug were extremely responsive and helpful even when the power unexpectedly went out during a storm. We would definitely come back the next time we are in Sechelt.

James was a great host! Their location is walking distance from loads of trails and the coast. We visited on a rainy weekend and found the space to be super cozy to hang out and play games and music (we enjoyed the novelty of the records and playing the accordion and guitar). When the rain cleared we went for a beautiful long hike just outside their door. They were super warm and welcoming hosts and we loved getting to chat when we crossed paths but still felt a sense of total privacy in the suite. Would absolutely recommend the suite for anyone making a trip out to the sunshine coast. It was perfect for a winter getaway and I imagine even better in the summer with loads to do.

What a great find! Was recommended by family and did not disappoint. Beautiful suite with ample space, gorgeous views from the windows, and perfect location for the hot tub. Overall very relaxing getaway, would definitely come back!

Liz & Dean made it very easy to enjoy our time there. They were communicative & welcoming, & we still had lots of privacy. Surprisingly one of our fave days was the day spent home in the rain, the cottage was so cozy. The rest of the days were spent in the sunshine, wandering the island & at the beach. The internet was not reliable, so I should have made sure we downloaded shows/podcasts ahead of time but we had lots of books luckily. This is a great spot as a home base to explore Hornby & we are grateful they shared their property with us.

We would definitely stay again. It was a great place. Small and cozy. Host went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience.

Had a nice time at Paul’s place! The space was perfect for a couple and has a great deck with a dining table, bbq and soft tub. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved that there was a dishwasher! Paul was very friendly and had two beautiful pups! Location is perfect for a day trip to Savary Island (close to the water taxi) and about a 15ish minute drive from Craig park (for disc golf!). We would stay here again! Thanks Paul!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edward and Kira's. Shanti (the dog) is absolutely beautiful and a very gentle soul. The cottage is very well equipped with some of the best kitchen supplies we've encountered in our many travels. I loved the chat with Edward and Shanti, and the friendly welcoming attitude of all the neighbors we saw while walking our pup. The covered outdoor sitting area is a huge bonus when it's raining, as you can stay warm and dry while enjoying the fresh air! The shower pressure is great and the bathtub is huge. The place is even more lovely than the photographs, and we've already recommended it to my parents. Would not hesitate to return!

This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Ellie's place. We skied at Forbidden Plateau and around Raven Lodge and we mountain biked at Cumberland. Ellie and April were very responsive to our queries. Their duotang with information made it easy to find restaurants and grocery stores. We will return there again.

We had such a nice stay at the Cabin! The location was beautiful, and we loved listening to the crash of the waves while cozied up by the woodstove, and sitting in the hot tub. We had so much fun going on waterfall and beach hikes in the area. Would highly recommend this cabin!

My stay for a month exceeded expectations! Cozy and comfortable cottage near the Salish estuary and numerous forest walks nearby. Owner is very responsive, thoughtful, and made my stay all the more enjoyable. Would love to book this cottage again! Thank you Anne and Mike for sharing your cottage in this slice of paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay.! The house was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Janis and Bill thought of everything in preparing the house to make our stay enjoyable. It had everything we needed for our family including our dog! The beach is just across the street and there are tons of hiking trails in the area. Janis and Bill were so helpful and welcoming. It was the perfect place for our family.

Sylvia and Don are excellent hosts and the cottage is beautiful. There is good access to nice, easy walking trails and a cool rocky beach without needing to use the car. Also good access to beautiful wilderness spaces with a pretty short drive. Great place to stay

Linda’s place is lovely. It’s in the historic part of town, an easy walk to shops/ trails in that area. It’s spotless, thoughtfully designed and has a nicely equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days at Boulder Hill Guest Suite. This space is comfortable and well organized. It met our needs for cooking, laundry, relaxing. We plan to book again.

The cabin is bigger than it appears in photos, is really well laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more) for a fabulous experience on beautiful Cortes Island! We really appreciated all the little extras, like the filtered water, dry condiments, fresh flowers and garden vegetables supplied by our super kind and friendly hosts, Toni and Joe. The cabin is quiet, pristine, and private, overlooking Hague Lake (a clean, clear, swimmable lake with white sand). It's also very conveniently located, just a very short stroll up the hill to Cortes Co-op, cafe, book shop, general store, museum and food truck. Toni and Joe were extremely helpful, recommending great things to check out during our visit. Paddleboarding on Hague Lake, the easy hike around Hank's Beach, Hollyhock's Beach, and the Friday (Community Craft) Market were a few highlights we recommend to other guests. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to return next summer or sooner! Thank you so much!

We loved our 4 day stay at Lisa’s! The apartment is roomy and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed, and was super clean. It was nice to sit at the kitchen table and enjoy a view of the ocean! We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Lisa checked with us regularly in case we needed. Our only regret was not planning a longer stay!

We are losing count of how many times we have stayed here! We love Renee and Travis's place for comfort, convenience and location. It's clean, spacious and we found it very cozy even on rainy November days. Thank you for yet another lovely visit :).

Mike & Dilla's place is very cozy, and the location is amazing. Right next to the beach! View of the sea from the kitchen is a bonus for sure. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the cottage is equipped with everything you need to spend a great few days. Mike is super responsive. We will come again!

Stayed for three nights with my husband and 7 month old son and had the most peaceful and relaxing time. Grace was super responsive and friendly and her place exceeded our expectations!! Would definitely stay here again - saw lots of seals and bald eagles… super beautiful place to recharge!

A great place to get away from a busy daily agenda. Everything a person needs. Close to a beach so you could either walk to or a quick drive and then sit back and relax. A real plus was the ability to do laundry.

The little cottage was exactly what I needed for my three day stay visiting family in Powell River. It was warm, comfortable, quiet and had all I needed. I’ve stayed on this property before, but not in this cottage. All my experiences have been good there.

Melissa's place was a great base for venturing out on hikes and a beautiful place to return to at the end of the day. I really appreciate how clean the place was and how peaceful and quiet it got.
