We loved our first visit to Sechelt and our lovley Airbnb...it was homey and well kept. Doreen was lovley and available with any questions we had. Enjoyed sitting on our own private beach or having a glass of wine with an ocean view while hot tubbing! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Best day was visiting Edgemont...a great hike..a little bakery in the woods..and a fabulous pub with beautiful scenery!

The perfect, cozy getaway, with highly responsive and welcoming hosts.

Linda and Ian were fantastic hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable, and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. They had excellent local guide books and provided us some great recommendations on things to see and do. The location was beautiful, peaceful, and very quiet - just what my wife and I were looking for! Thank you, Linda and Ian!

Liz & Dean made it very easy to enjoy our time there. They were communicative & welcoming, & we still had lots of privacy. Surprisingly one of our fave days was the day spent home in the rain, the cottage was so cozy. The rest of the days were spent in the sunshine, wandering the island & at the beach. The internet was not reliable, so I should have made sure we downloaded shows/podcasts ahead of time but we had lots of books luckily. This is a great spot as a home base to explore Hornby & we are grateful they shared their property with us.

We would definitely stay again. It was a great place. Small and cozy. Host went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience.

Had a nice time at Paul’s place! The space was perfect for a couple and has a great deck with a dining table, bbq and soft tub. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved that there was a dishwasher! Paul was very friendly and had two beautiful pups! Location is perfect for a day trip to Savary Island (close to the water taxi) and about a 15ish minute drive from Craig park (for disc golf!). We would stay here again! Thanks Paul!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edward and Kira's. Shanti (the dog) is absolutely beautiful and a very gentle soul. The cottage is very well equipped with some of the best kitchen supplies we've encountered in our many travels. I loved the chat with Edward and Shanti, and the friendly welcoming attitude of all the neighbors we saw while walking our pup. The covered outdoor sitting area is a huge bonus when it's raining, as you can stay warm and dry while enjoying the fresh air! The shower pressure is great and the bathtub is huge. The place is even more lovely than the photographs, and we've already recommended it to my parents. Would not hesitate to return!

This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

Great location, clean and comfortable space

I really loved seeing the stars at night! I could see the milky way and listen to the waves roll up on the sand.

The perfect family get-away. Lots of room with private bedrooms and washrooms for 5 adults and a toddler. All amenities were top of the line - appliances, kitchen supplies, linens and bath towels etc. and super clean and easy to look after. Good access done to a private waterfront good for watching the tide come in, beach combing or meditation. We will book again for sure. Thank you to Eric and KT for your attention to detail.

Lovely stay at this little cottage—Walkable along the estuary to the town of Comox. The cottage has two excellent heat sources in the two chilly, rainy months I stayed. Ann, on the main property, is an excellent resource for local culture and other resources. Very comfy! It has everything you will need!

The Hi n Dri was a wonderful place to stay with everything we wanted and needed for our holiday. Love the location. The house is fully equipped with all the small and big appliances you would ever need. Everything was clean and new. Love the natural surroundings. Appreciated seeing pics of local wildlife Janice and Bill shared with us. It was nice to be able to walk to the water without any problem. Will definite stay here again.

Sylvia and Don are excellent hosts and the cottage is beautiful. There is good access to nice, easy walking trails and a cool rocky beach without needing to use the car. Also good access to beautiful wilderness spaces with a pretty short drive. Great place to stay

This is a beautiful space perfect for a couple or a family. Very private, large enclosed back yard. We will be back:)

The place is new, quiet and stylish, even better than in the pictures. A fully stocked kitchen and clean spacious rooms. Lots of grass, trees and privacy outside. The host was extremely helpful and understanding when we had a medical emergency and had to check out early, even giving us an un asked for rebate. We loved the house and highly recommend this stay. 10 out of 10. We will be back!

Comfy, clean and quiet - everything I needed while visiting the Comox Valley for a work trip. 😊

All the small details really brought everything together so well! From the full and thoughtful binder of local recommendations to the stack of games, Alison truly made this place feel like home. Everything was there as described with plenty of additional items like towels, linens and blankets. The view was truly spectacular and we were able to spot a beautiful eagle flying by. The indoor fireplace made for a very cozy and romantic setting for our weekend getaway. And the couches were truly the most comfortable ones we’ve ever sat on! Definitely a place for us to visit again in the summer weather when I’m sure we’d enjoy the outdoor amenities even more.

The cabin is bigger than it appears in photos, is really well laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more) for a fabulous experience on beautiful Cortes Island! We really appreciated all the little extras, like the filtered water, dry condiments, fresh flowers and garden vegetables supplied by our super kind and friendly hosts, Toni and Joe. The cabin is quiet, pristine, and private, overlooking Hague Lake (a clean, clear, swimmable lake with white sand). It's also very conveniently located, just a very short stroll up the hill to Cortes Co-op, cafe, book shop, general store, museum and food truck. Toni and Joe were extremely helpful, recommending great things to check out during our visit. Paddleboarding on Hague Lake, the easy hike around Hank's Beach, Hollyhock's Beach, and the Friday (Community Craft) Market were a few highlights we recommend to other guests. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to return next summer or sooner! Thank you so much!

Our stay at Lisa's was absolutely perfect! This beautiful spot was everything we hoped for and more. We walked to the beach every morning to watch the sunrise—it was pure magic! The location was exactly as described—private, peaceful, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Lisa was such a wonderful host—attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

We are losing count of how many times we have stayed here! We love Renee and Travis's place for comfort, convenience and location. It's clean, spacious and we found it very cozy even on rainy November days. Thank you for yet another lovely visit :).

A great peaceful location. The cottage had all that you needed. Kitchen was so spacious with great sturdy Corelle dishes and great LG appliances. Cooking oil, olive oil, salt and pepper was provided and also a rice cooker! Other nice touches like a first aid kit. The kitchen island was nice and big and allowed us to have fun playing boardgames. It was close to Cooper Green park and relatively short driving distance to Sechelt. Mike was responsive and kind. We didn't have a chance to try the fireplace.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Myrtle Beach Guest House aka Nana’s Place. 💕 The waterfront view was amazing and we enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves from almost every room in the cottage. We loved the covered deck and comfy chairs. Grace was the perfect hostess…so friendly, clear and timely communication, thoughtful touches and even checked on us during a huge wind and rain storm when the power went out to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay again…thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!

The place was very clean and quiet. It warmed up easily (we went during winter), and had what we needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and there was a nice view out the dining room area.
