Cabin holiday rentals in Putnam County

This was our 2nd trip to Salt Lake Springs and we were excited to know that Sherrie's cabin was available for the dates we were visiting! This was our 2nd stay at Sherrie's cabin and we must say, it felt like home. Sherrie is a great host and as our trip got closer, Sherrie kept in touch with us to make sure we had a smooth check-in. The cabin was clean and had all the items needed to make sure we were comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The view of the Lake and sunset from the cabin is just impeccable. It's very close to all the springs and hiking trails in the Ocala Forest. We will definitely stay here again and again. Ocala Forest is one of our favorite places and staying in Sherrie's cabin makes it even better. See you again soon! Willie and Debbie

A little overpriced but fun room accurately described as upscale glamping. Fridge didn’t work and wasn’t cleaned but bed was comfortable. That half bath is really small. If you like adventure, you’ll like this.

Tonya was an excellent host. She had everything arranged for our arrival and met us at the entrance to the resort. Tonya was easily accessible by phone for questions. She was quick to respond when we needed replacement of supplies . She is a very friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning !

We had the best time at this cozy little cottage. Perfect location to relax and enjoy nature- removed from the chaos of the city but close enough to get to restaurants etc. Very clean and nicely appointed. Comfy beds. Plenty of linens etc. Highly recommend and will stay again!

We found this location as we were needing to evacuate the Tampa area ahead of hurricane Milton. Our host was very friendly, accommodating, and hospitable!

The onsite manager, Catherine, was awesome! Cabin was super cute and very, very clean and cosy. Highly recommend!

Lisa was a great host. She was extremely communicative and had plenty of details for us. This house is extremely well cared for and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. We were able to use the canoe and kayaks to paddle around the lake. We even caught a few fish! If you're looking for a place in the Salt Springs area, THIS. IS. IT!!!

Mr Griffin was awesome and the cabin was great. He was very accommodating and quick to respond. This was a last minute trip for me and my two sons and we couldn’t have been happier with the hospitality. Highly recommend!

It was everything we expected plus more. She had everything that you have in your kitchen at home. I overpacked so much. Lisa had everything. The choices for dining were excellent. Nothing disappointed us. The only problem was that we came at the wrong time to fish. The guts were disappointed.

Great cabin , nice view from Ocklawaha river, cottage was very clean and everything worked as it should, we will definitely be back.

This is our second year going to the dirt track races at Volusia County Speedway and get an Airbnb in the area. We are from Cape Coral Florida, and we like to travel around using Airbnb. The place was just as described very peaceful, quiet, and any amenity that you could possibly want Was available. I Plenty of parking, plenty of room, lots to do and see, picturesque lake, very cozy, warm, clean and inviting!! I would highly highly recommend this location! The host were extremely responsive and the property they care about, you can tell because we checked in early and it was ready already. Thank you! Next time we will spend more time Because I don’t feel we spent enough time in the area. One night at this location surely isn’t enough! Thank you again David and Liz!

A great place to go and decompress from a hectic life. Exactly as described, and it was just what we were looking for. We will be back and would not hesitate to recommend it, if you are just a little bit adventurous there is so much to see here. Thanks Andy and Monica.

The cabin is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. What was impressive was the amount of “little things” that the cabin had when you needed it. (Spices in the kitchen, cooking supplies, blankets, etc). I was very impressed. Very quiet and worth the stay. If I came back to the area in the future, I would be looking for this cabin again for availability.

Great place for a couple of people right in the middle of the forest close to atv trails

Great place in the woods. Make sure, as she suggests in her description, to stop by the grocery store of you want to stock up before you check in. The cabin was great and so peaceful and quiet and also very comfortable. Thank you for a great place to rest.

I can’t say nough about Roy as a host. He made some exceptions to accommodate me as I was evacuating Milton and could not find anywhere to stay! Because of the storm. There were some plumbing issues and Roy graciously allowed me access to his own home. He placed sandbags, checked in on me, provided he with some first aid supplies I needed, and he allowed me to park my vehicle under his house. Forever grateful for his hospitality and compassion. 🩷

it was nice, clean and quiet, also near a lot of things we wanted to do in the forest, even if the forest service's hurricane recovery efforts didn't always cooperate with that. plus it was cool to be able to watch Netflix on the TV vs the laptop.
