Serenity Palawan

Our quaint little hut is off the beaten road and off-the-grid, nestled on a hill overlooking the West Philippine Sea, between a private cove and a public beach. It is some 40-minute drive from the airport, with a spectacular view along the way. Our home may be small but it is a complete house - with toilet and bath, kitchen, a queen size bed, a desk, and a porch that serves as a dining area too. We call our place Serenity, as it simply exudes peace and tranquility.

The place is amazing! Very private you can really enjoy what is to be in surrounded by nature. We really loved to experience the life within the local community. The jungle tour was beautiful and our tour guide brought us through the wonders of the jungle. The staff was lovely and they treat us really well, food was amazing and we choose to eat vegan and they came up with many delicious options. I wish communication was not a barrier to get more knowledge from the indigenous community and understand more their lives and how the want to grow this place. Also, i think to feel more safe would be good to be able to lock the room cause anyone could access the premises at any time. Also I would be good to know the prices of everything before hand and to be stated in the description to be more transparent and avoid any confusions to manage our expenses. As a summary we had a wonderful time there and would love to come back as well as to show other people, thank you!

This place is paradise! Less than 200 ft from the most gorgeous beach with soft sand and gentle waves. Listen to the waves as you fall asleep in your adorable hut. The people are so friendly. We met people from all over the world. The beach is not crowded, even on weekends. Plenty of options for delicious, local food and refreshing mango shakes. If this wasn't halfway around the world from my home, I'd return annually. Bon was very helpful in coordinating transportation for tours and from/to the airport. Thank you so much for sharing this treasure with us.
