Just recently stayed at Casa Zen #8 (the new building— upstairs unit) for nearly eight weeks. The unit is brand new with modern appliances, strong air-conditioning units, plenty of hot water, fast Internet, and one of the best 180° views of Ayampe. Michael, the host, was very responsive. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Hector, the property manager, was always easy to get a hold of in case you need any supplies or issues with anything. Walking into town took about seven minutes. There is a considerable hill but you adapt pretty quickly. There is some road noise during the day and early in the morning. I would recommend some earplugs or noise canceling headphones if you like a mid afternoon siesta or sleep in a bit late. The view is absolutely stunning. There’s a butterfly garden outside the window, and it’s absolutely beautiful. You are surrounded by nature and really truly pure Zen. It felt like home away from home. It is a very lovely place.

It's beautiful, if you want to disconnect from the city and a quiet and clean beach, it's an ideal place.

The suite was spotless, beautiful and well equipped. The beach is less than 30 meters away and is a very good location near food spots. Laura was very attentive to everything for messages and was very kind. We would definitely come back ✨️

We loved our stay at this property! The house is comfortable and well-equipped, and the surroundings are simply stunning. The only thing to keep in mind is that access can be a bit difficult, especially if you have a low vehicle. But don't be discouraged, because the experience is amazing.

Loved Carpe Diem! It is inside a residential complex with a garage and super safe guard, easy to find too. The house is beautiful, I recommend it above all for adults or with children not so small. The photos uploaded on Airbnb don't do it justice, it's nicer in person. I recommend it 100%.

I loved the house. Very comfortable. Very spacious spaces and the beach a few meters away. I would always be back!!

I booked this house for my boyfriend and his family. It ended up being around 13 of us and we all fit comfortably in the space. We loved that we had our own private beach and pool, and it was a beautiful outdoor space. The space inside was clean and very nice. The only thing that i can think of that was a downside is that there were not enough towels in the rooms. Some of the couples had to share a towel. Miguel was great at communicating and responded quickly. I definitely recommend staying here. I would come back!

The house is beautiful, very cozy, the garden is great next to the pigs!!!!! The location is excellent, you do not need to move from the area for anything, theugar is super quiet, safe, you can rest and be on the beach without problems.

the house is nice with a garden view in a gated community, its located less then 5 minutes from the beach and about 15 minutes walk to Olon . Juan responds quickly and is helpful definitely recommended

The apartment is in a prime location in the Olon area, ideal for spending a few days relaxing and having fun near the sea. The service staff are always friendly and helpful

Great place for a vacation. The apartment is very comfortable, with rooms that have air conditioning, ideal for a good rest. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary utensils. Bathrooms are spacious, modern and very clean. The view is spectacular and the pool is beautiful, large and with a special area for children. In addition, it has direct access to the beach, which makes it even more special. There are nearby places where you can buy anything to prepare food (tuti, bakery, groceries, shops, Gasolina station). A 10min is Montañita. My kids had a full fun and want to come back. Highly recommended for a vacation in complete tranquility!

This place was absolutely perfect! The apartment is beautiful, super cozy, and just a short walk from the beach—such a great spot to relax and enjoy the area. The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby every night. Everything was clean, well-designed, and had a really welcoming vibe. But honestly, the best part was having a great host like Javier. He’s such a kind and sincere person who truly cares about his guests. From the start, he made me feel at home, giving me tons of amazing recommendations for places to eat, explore, and experience the area like a local. He even let me check in my backpack early, which made my arrival so much easier. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. If you’re thinking about booking this place—do it! I’d love to come back again.

Amazing! The place is extremely comfortable, spacious, with a balcony and a beautiful view, the sunset is just as in the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfasts at home. I would definitely come back, highly recommended!!

It's a very nice place, just like you can see in the photos. Very private, very quiet, people are friendly, there are good places to eat and everything is close by. I went with my girlfriend and we had a great time, I would definitely come back!
