João is a wonderful host and his place offers a perfect refuge, particularly for a family like ours looking to enjoy the pool and nearby beach (our son loved it!)

welcoming house with all the necessary utensils. stunning outdoor site, plenty of space to walk, barbecue, rest, take a dip in the river. our p*****s loved to explore the forest inside the property and even dared to explore outside because there is nothing around. wake up with the sound of the river running, of the birds singing. I can try to describe with a thousand words that only those who have ever had in space and like nature will understand. everything wonderful

Functional accommodation and located in a very quiet location. Two terraces available. Idalia is very kind and very generous.. We leave her with regret. Her advice is valuable and she doesn't hesitate to give her time. Always smiling.

I wanted to thank Joaquim and his wife, they were two amazing hosts, they made a point of introducing us to the house and its history. They were also very nice in accompanying us by messages asking if everything was in order or if we needed anything, finally they even delivered us a cake for an afternoon a few days before check-out.

The apartment was so cozy, we were grateful for the little local treats that were left for us it was such a nice touch. The apartment was clean and had a beautiful view of the river from the bedroom windows. The small town was quaint and we enjoyed immensely walking around trying all the amazing restaurants and enjoying the beach. My family and I can’t wait to visit this amazing place again soon!!! Thank you for an amazing little getaway!!

Great location and very clean, nicely renovated apartment.

Spacious pristine apartment overlooking canal. Lovely small balcony so you can watch the boats sail by. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need and lots of coffee pods and dishwasher tablets provided. Ely and Fatima were so helpful and very pleasant to deal with, also flexible and prompt.

The apartment is very well located. Very close to the beach and with spectacular views of the lake. Barbara was very one-time. Below the apartment, there is also a bar where you can eat local fish for little money and very good attention. We were able to park directly at the door.

My family and I love the apartment! This very well located close to the beach, restaurants, cafes.. you can walk in less than 8 minutes. It was all impeccable. An added value is to accept animals. The host was always very flexible with check-in and check-out. The host's communication is excellent.

Ana's place is wonderful. Completely renovated, tastefully decorated, with many kitchen utensils, very new, clean and a great location. I just put some sticks on it that would have made the stay of 10, much more comfortable: - we were going with two kids and the stair guards were broken so that was dangerous for the baby and we had to be continually watching - a canopy is missing on the terrace to enjoy it. With the heat and sun it was impossible to go out on the terrace to enjoy the views having breakfast or eating. - does not have a washing machine. On a beach site it seems fundamental to at least being able to wash the towels and some clothes. Thank you, Silvia

The lady who received us was very friendly and responsive to our needs throughout the stay. Great for 2 people. In front of the shore and 5 min. walk from the sea. Fabulous! Loved it.

8 of us had an amazing week at Ria Surf House. The pool area was perfect for us adults and kids! Mariana was very helpful and responsive. Fab meals at the snack bar and Casa das Enguias. We didn’t have a car but Mariana put us in touch with a lovely local taxi driver who ensured we could get around when not walking. Also took the train to Porto and Aveiro, great days out. The beach was amazing - a walk through a forest to get there - a wild and remote feel. Many thanks!

Very good stay. The house is very nice. It is well arranged and convenient. The heated pool is really appreciated. The location and the view of the lagoon is stunning. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much to Teresa for her attention and kind hosting.

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. Very kind owner. Located in rural area, on the edge of Ria Aveiro. Pleasant pedestrian and cycling trail 2 steps away. On the shoreline of the lagoon. The city of Aveiro and the ocean beaches 15 minutes' drive away. Really great house.
