Beachfront holiday rental in Praia da Arrifana, Aljezur

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Marcela’s place. The villa was well equipped and had everything you would need I.e kitchen utensils, towels, hair dyers and more. The town is only a 5 minute down hill walk away with lots of popular bars and restaurants along the sea front. There was eight of us staying at the villa and we all fit very comfortably. We particularly liked the amazing sea views and lots of common spaces available. I couldn’t recommend staying here more!

We had a fantastic stay at Inna's apartment. The location was perfect for accessing the many beaches and very quiet and peaceful. The apartment itself was great with everything you could need and good air conditioning throughout. Inna was very responsive to any queries both prior to and during our stay. Overall a lovely holiday and we would definitely return.

We recently enjoyed an incredible 9-night stay at this beautiful Airbnb that truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how clean and cozy the space was, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation. The location was another highlight, as it was just a short walk to the stunning Luz Beach. We loved being able to easily access the beach and spend our days soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful coastline. The house was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy linens and even beach gear. It was clear that the hosts had thoughtfully considered every detail to ensure our comfort and convenience during our stay. This attention to detail made our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of our favorite Airbnb experiences ever. We left feeling rejuvenated and can't wait to return. If you're looking for a clean, cozy place with a fantastic location, we highly recommend this Airbnb!

Jorge’s place was really a home away from home especially with our three little girls (5, 4, 1.5 years old). Our girls loved the two bunkbeds. It was spacious, super clean & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals but also walkable to many beaches and restaurants; however one of our favourites was the restaurant just below the building! We loved the beach behind the building as well which was only a few minutes walk. We didn’t end up using the pools in the facility but everything looked great! Jorge himself was very responsive, professional and definitely a superhost helping us check-in as we booked this Airbnb very last minutes and got there later in the evening. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers were nicer than the ones I have at home. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Portugal in the future. Great location and we loved Lagos. The only very small issue was that we thought we were getting two beds in one bedroom as shown in the pictures. Instead it was just 1 bed so the second person slept on the pullout couch which wasn’t the most comfortable.

Absolutely loved my stay and of course enjoyed the rooftop with amazing views. Very near everything but very quiet. I will be back.

Carlos is the perfect host, and his cottage is just the perfect getaway. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place for breakfast and lunch and those moments you want to just sit and listen. We are looking forward to our next stay already. Perfect in everyway. Thank you Carlos x

We had a great stay. Perfect accommodation and cozy town. The hosting was great - easy and smooth communication and it was really clean and tidy. Accommodation is close to the local surf spot.

We stayed there for 2 weeks over Christmas with the whole family and were all completely satisfied. We initially had trouble getting the heating to work, but the on-site care was such that there was immediate assistance, even in the evening our caretaker was available to us. The apartment is spotless, beautiful and tastefully decorated, everything works flawlessly and the parking garage is an absolute plus in this area anyway! Thank you for a fantastic vacation! We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time at your place - for two weeks this was a great "winter hideout"! We really enjoyed the minimalistic, yet classy design, the wonderful terrace and overall cosiness of the appartement. The environment is wonderful - both the city of Ferragudo, the endless coastline, beaches and the beautiful countryside. Obrigado :) e (espero) até à próxima!

Had a great week long break, the Air BnB was perfect and the pool is much bigger in person then in the photos.

This villa is an absolute must if you want to stay in the best location in Lagos. The home is spotless, modern, has every amenity you could need, so much space, incredible views and extremely comfortable. It is a short and easy walk into Lagos, in a quiet and peaceful area, you can enjoy everything that Lagos has to offer while also having your own private and comfortable space. Giuliana is an incredible host, extremely friendly, funny and responsive and gave us so many recommendations that it really made our holiday perfect. 10/10 - everyone should stay here!

We have just returned after an amazing week. A family holiday with small kids and grandparents. The house is perfect, the location is 20 steps to the most perfect beach, the house is comfortable and we wanted for nothing. Pool was such a treat. Ice cream kiosk right outside back door !! (Kids loved) .. town is lovely for a relaxed family holiday.. memories made for life. Owners so helpful , communication perfect and so helpful highly recommend we will definitely be back . A hidden oasis with amazing views from every window .. only problem is we didn’t want to leave

A lovely airy apartment. Huge balcony, generous kitchen/livingroom. Amazing value for money. The ONLY downside would be that the road is noisy but anyone booking can see its next to a road. Super accessible to beach and Praia Do Rocha, we had a wonderful stay and Paulo the rest of the team were incredibly attentive, responsive and friendly. We hope to stay again soon 🫶

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful peaceful location. It is exactly how it is described and more. So much space and everything you need. The view is stunning - and lots of chairs/loungers to sit on to enjoy it. We knew Carolina was there if we needed her - but we didnt as everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this home and would love to return.

The location is a dream for peace seekers. The sunrise around 7:30 was a perfect start to the day and then the sun warmed up over breakfast. In the evening we used the stove every day, so it was cozily warm (wood available - thanks for that!) . For the bathroom in the morning there was a small electric radiator, because the night temperatures varied from 6 degrees to 12 degrees - so it was quite fresh in the morning. We enjoyed the time here very much, also always chatting with Andy and Astrid, who take care of the grounds/house very lovingly.

Sam is a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment was spotless and in a beautiful, quiet location only a short walk to the local beach or into the old town where there are some great restaurants. This is the third time we have visited Ferragudo and will definitely be back again next year 😍

The view!!! It is just perfect, exactly as described, has everything you need to enjoy a nice and peaceful stay! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance (including the neighboring building!), and the beach. Whether you go for the surf or just to enjoy the sand and water, there are very few options that will get you closer to the beach! We would definitely stay there again!

Kingdomar’s place was perfect. Our family of 4 stayed stayed with another family of 3 and we had plenty of space. The location couldn’t be better, right next to the beach and restaurants. The house was very clean and stocked with all the essentials. We would highly recommended the place.

The house is very nicely furnished, the stone floor is very nice. The kitchen well equipped. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but the bedrooms were very nice and above all the view from everywhere to the ocean is just nice. The central heating was wonderful, since we have been here in the beginning of January, it was necessary and well functioning.

Pedro is an amazing host and is highly recommended as he is very responsive whenever you message him! He helped save our trip by letting us check in after 3am. Local recommendations are provided at the house, it has a very spacious common area, quiet and safe neighbourhood and amazing pool! Only downside is the women of our group think he is too attractive. 😂

We were 3 couples and the house as well as the location were perfect for us. We loved walking along the promenade at the Praia da Luz and swimming at the guarded beach. We always had a view of the sea - either from a restaurant on the promenade or from the house. Also many thanks to both the host Susan and to Libby from the house keeping company who made our stay simply wonderful.

With all the many positive reviews here, I can only agree and emphasize again how great this place is! - The view of the castle and the harbor entrance with the river Arade from the balcony and terrace is simply stunningly beautiful (you can hardly sit more beautiful!). The decor of the villa is authentic and not hypermodern. Overall, we found it very consistent, also with the decoration. The bedroom with terrace and shower room is very spacious and the view is also super nice here. The 2nd bedroom is a bit dark, as the large window in it "only" goes to the small terrace in front of the house and does not really fall in a lot of light here. But since we didn't stay in this room for long except for sleeping, that didn't bother us. The only downside is that there is little space in the cabinets because there are many blankets, etc. The house itself is spacious, the living/dining area large and cozy. A great place for us!!
