Raquel's cabin is situated at the top of a mountain and Racquel gave very clear instructions on how to find the home. The views are fantastic. it feels very private and is a great getaway. The interior is welcoming, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. There is also a gas grill on the wraparound deck. It was mostly cloudy while we were there, but the sky cleared enough one night for us to enjoy some (very cold!) stargazing. We had a snowstorm the morning we were leaving, and Racquel was very quick to respond with some help. we highly recommend this place for a mountain getaway.

We enjoyed our time and felt very comfortable in the house. We had plenty of space to spread out. The home was very clean and offered games, fully stocked kitchen to cook meals, firepit, and much more to enjoy. We visited the area for Cherry Springs State Park to see the stars and to go hiking. We were able to enjoy one clear night at the park and it was absolutely beautiful. We were out everyday so we didn't get to enjoy the trails nearby. Thank you for sharing your place with our family. Would definitely come back!

The grounds and location were exactly perfect! We were looking for a place that was pretty dark, so we could stargaze, and it perfectly delivered. We brought the dogs and they had plenty of room to run and play. A wonderful getaway weekend!

Laura and Charlie were the perfect hosts! Their home is beautiful and in such a peaceful beautiful area. They went above and beyond by creating a book with everything in it you would possibly need to know about everything in the house and different places in the area. They were very easy to talk to very friendly and I felt like I had known them forever in the few conversations that we had they were very personable. I loved how the house was set up, it was perfect with two floors and separate living spaces so that if anybody in our group wanted quiet time or just wanted to be on their own the house offered that. They made nice personal little touches like the beverage refrigerator and the s'mores kit I thought that was really cute and well thought out. I would definitely recommend to any and all of my friends that want to visit Potter County that they should stay at Laura and Charlies place. I too I'm a fellow delawarean and I was very thankful to have come across the Laura and Charlie

We needed a place for our large family to stay for a funeral in the area over the winter. The house was perfect. It was clean, very spacious and quiet.

We had an amazing time! Used the firepit to roast hot dogs! Enjoyed our stay as always! Saw a Bald Eagle, deer in the yard and also heard coyotes. Truly an awesome experience

This was the pperfwxt place to sit back and relax and reflect and get away from the crazy day to day life. Highly recommend going to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. We will be booking again in the summer! Or even before then!

Extremely accommodating and wonderful house! Great hosts create a great atmosphere for their guests. They did exactly that!

This was our second stay at William’s place. We love it here! Great little cabin that has everything we need. The location is so peaceful and perfect for relaxation and star gazing.

Cute, cozy cabin as advertised! We were 5-10 mins from the local shops and restaurants, 20-mins or so from Cherry Springs! Penny even had some essentials like shampoo, soap, etc in the shower. As well as the fridge having butter, ketchup, mustard which saved us. We loved the fire pit. With a cabin of course there were some ladybugs flying around but nothing we didn’t except. Bed was comfy and I appreciated the flannel sheets with the cold nights. She even had a few DVDs and Board games that we took advantage of. If i am ever back in Galeton, I would book again ✨

The apartment was perfect base place for a few days exploring the Coudersport area. It was a warm place to return to rejuvenate after exploring in the cold weather. John and Olga provided us with suggestions for things to do and were quickly responsive when needs arose. Olga even patiently assisted me in my decision- making in her yarn store. So many options and it was hard for me to stay focused used. Thanks Olga! It was a pleasure meeting them and I look forward to returning to Coudersport to view more stars and all that it has to offer.

A perfect getaway spot! We didn’t think we could enjoy a place more than the last place Chris hosted, but this was even better. The amenities were plentiful, and the cabin was comfortable & cozy in autumn. We were surrounded by colorful trees, and the sitting area by the stream was the best place to spend hours soaking up nature and enjoying a fire. The kitchen was fully equipped; the bed was really comfy; and the huge TV in the living room kept us entertained in the evenings. There are lots of ways to control the temperature including ceiling fans in two rooms. Like Chris’s other place we stayed in, there is full WiFi. Chris has always been a great host. This time he told us the Aurora Borealis was going to be really strong, so we headed to Cherry Springs State Park for a breathtaking experience. The Kinzua Bridge and PA Grand Canyon are both just an hour away, and it’s only a short drive into Coudersport for groceries & restaurants. We’ll definitely be back.

The home is lovely and very spacious. Chris was super responsive. We contacted him a few times, for things that were not issues with the house but some general issues, and he responded right away. It was very cold but we are already talking about visiting in the spring to see more outdoors. It was very cold and the heat was awesome. Kept us cozy the whole weekend.

Staying at Moonraker was great. We enjoyed the game room overlooking the great room for playing games while watching the Phillies NCLS series. The kitchen was very spacious for preparing our meals. The grill on the covered porch came in handy for cooking our steaks during some rain one night. The hose out back worked well to clean our mountain bikes. The firepit that seated 9 of us comfortably was enjoyed by all one night. The house was warm and comfortable to sleep in. Plenty of bathrooms for 9. We never once felt on top of each other; there was plenty of room for groups of 10 or even more. Overall, beyond the road up (which is fine in an SUV, but don't take a sedan) and no stars all weekend due to the rain and clouds, everything was a 5 of 5. Thanks, Chris for being a good responsive host and for a great spot for a long rainy weekend.

This was our second time staying at Lover’s Lodge. It did not disappoint. The hot tub was a delightful added bonus. Jeffrey was easy to contact and helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway this is the perfect place.

Great Bear Cabin is a gem! We loved how peaceful it was, and that Josh has clearly gone above and beyond to bring comfort to his guests. The Master Bedroom had one the comfiest mattresses we’ve ever stayed on at an airbnb! We loved being able to travel with our dog, and the cabin was super pet friendly with treats and bags to clean up easily! While we stayed with a smaller group this time, Josh’s place can easily accommodate a large group/ family! Thanks for sharing this amazing space! We can’t wait to come back!!

We came up to Galeton for a girls weekend. We had a great time staying at the lodge. About 30 minutes away from all of the destinations we were looking for (cherry springs and pa Grand Canyon). The space was clean and had a starter pack of everything you needed (dish soap, paper towels, etc)
