Wonderful weekend of relaxation, in a quiet area and very close to Caminha. The beautiful house, especially for a couple. Everything you need for cooking, for cleaning and not being cold. We will certainly return. @viaxeirosgalegos

I totally recommend to stay in this house, the house it's absolutely perfect and the place, the garden, the terrace, everything was super calm and chill, it made me feel relaxed and peaceful, I could not find a better house for our stay. I appreciate the attention from the hosts, they are very nice and helpful.

Our stay in this house was really fantastic! The house itself was amazing and offered incredible tranquility. The hostess is one of the friendliest people we have ever met. Upon arrival we could easily park our car in the driveway of the hostess's house. She was so thoughtful in helping us get our luggage to the vacation house. To get to the house, you walk through a beautiful vineyard. This walk is an experience in itself, the surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. Once we arrived at the cottage, we were treated to an amazing view of the vineyard. The house itself is cozy and comfortably furnished, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a swimming pool within walking distance of the house, located on a hill. The pool is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and it was wonderful to spend time there with the family. All in all, this house was really a highlight of our first holiday in Portugal. We can recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay!

We fully agree with all the superlatives in previous reviews: luxurious house at the foot of the forest with breathtaking view of the ocean. Very private and very well maintained. Our children who were studying for exams during the stay pronounced the WIFI excellent and were thankful the house had a separate room with a big desk where one could study, paint, etc. The wooden fire is easy to light and ample wood is provided. The AC wall-heaters provide additional, more than sufficient, heat in case you consider renting as us in late December. The host Jorge was extremely responsive from start to finish. We have stayed at quite a lot of places via airbnb and could say with confidence Jorge’s hospitality was unprecedented. Such a nice person! We have never been to the Açores and Terceira before but after spending 10 days here believe Biscoitos is the best location, especially for people who like hiking, nature and appreciate home cooking in family restaurants! Recommended 100%!

We have stayed here numerous times over the years. It’s a perfect place for a family to enjoy Parede, the Cascais area and Lisbon. We will be back.

We stayed at the Villa Sagres with our family (2 adults, 3 kids 8,9 and 5 yrs old) and had a really great time during our 5 nights stay. The kids loved the swimming pool, which gave us parents some time to relax. A supermarket in just walking distance to get fresh bakery in the morning was perfect to feed the needs of all our little ones (and ours of course). The Sagres area is a really nice area with beautiful beaches close by ( you do need a car though). Isabel was always helpful and addressed any of our questions promptly. So thanks for the wonderful time we had!

Luis is an exceptional host, very kind and very responsive when needed. The accommodation is perfect for a family, secluded and quiet, with a beautiful garden and a microclimate that escapes the hot weather. Thank you to Luis for hostinging us!

Amazing place that was well worth the visit!

We had a great stay in July 2024. I was staying at the property with my kids and a bunch of their friends and there was always something to do or somewhere to hang out for everyone. We had a problem with the stove - and there the instructions could perhaps have been a bit better. However, the team managing the property helped solve it to everyone's satisfaction. We would definitely stay at the property again!

We love our stay - the house is fantastic, set in a calm, extensive and magnificent plot, very well equipped and prepared for our group of 6 people and two b*****s. Leonor and João were 5* and were able to adjust our needs with great speed and readiness - clearly repeating!

Amazing and perfect getaway from the city to the peaceful countryside. This house was all what we wanted! Juan was very communicative and Graça who met us there made us feel immediately at home. Her breakfasts were amazing and beautiful organised. Definitely recommend. We will come back in the summer as well.

It was an amazing surprise to stay in this little treasure. Maria Helena was an amazing host and explained everything right. Only those who are on this site really feel how special it is. From the common areas, to the windows between the bedrooms, living room and kitchen (even tastes to wash the dishes with that view), the much-loved "rooftop"/terrace, never drinking a cafe was so good. For those who need to rest a few days, this is undoubtedly one of the places to stay, 3 days that seemed like a week. No doubt I will return!! Our thanks to D. What an amazing house! The drive is down a steep lane and then you arrive at the wonderful house. Perched by the lake (grassy banks leading down to lake with pontoon with steps) the house is set in the hill surrounded by beautiful trees. An amazing terrace with picture perfect view across the lake. Swimming pool lovely temperature. We are outside on the terrace every night and swam in the lovely lake every day. Vicente was the most wonderful host. He met us to help direct us to the house and showed us around. Any question I had he was quick to reply. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you 😊

Impeccable accommodation, positively surprised us in every way. Spectacular view, it looked like a painting because we were paralyzed only to admire so much beauty. All very functional for a comfortable stay. Extremely clean and fragrant with a special twist of rosemary in every corner that was just taken out in the backyard. We had memorable moments and recommend Casa Azul to everyone who wants to spend some calm and happy days in Montalegre. Thank you to Luis for your availability and kindness to us.

Our stay at Luis's accommodation was wonderful, the accommodation is indeed very well achieved. We had a mishap that was the lack of internet but Luis promptly put the means to resolve it. Unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. Anfitriao then arranged a way to reward us for this setback. We love the stay and we will certainly return.
