Holiday rentals with lake access in Portsmouth

Absolutely delightful barn. Pristine clean, many personal and welcoming touches, beautifully decorated and a serene, tranquil setting. It’s clear that the barn has been architect-designed as described, the interior structure is amazing. Bobby was a lovely, welcoming host. We had a heating issue during our first night which Bobby resolved immediately upon hearing about it. Fabulously located for Peppa Pig World/ Paultons park and many other attractions nearby including the zoo! We will be back.

We had 3 adults and 6 kids under 4 in the caravan and we had an amazing time. We didnt actually spend that much time in the air b and b as there is so much to do in the local area and the facilities are so good. This is especially good considering it is February! The hosts were so responsive and understanding. We are hoping to come again and recreate a magical stay. We had reservations about so many toddlers in such a small space but it was a great set up. Thanks again

Stunning seaside location with direct access to shingle beach. A perfect place to stay any time of year.

The mobile home had everything you needed for a short stay. It was very clean, the decor was nice and well-equipped. The location was well maintained but quiet, within reach of the beach and shops.

Beautiful place - extremely well equipped for a family stay. Grounds are brilliant especially if you have children or dogs! Loved the wood burner ! Would recommend and would love to return.

We had a wonderful Christmas at Karen's place! The house was beautiful and really spacious - and Karen had made sure we had everything we needed - including all the pots and pans we needed to cook Christmas lunch for 7 in her lovely kitchen! Could not recommend more highly - it was clean, warm, and comfortable - and in a lovely location with a pub a minute's walk away!

Lovely stay, the house was very comfortable, had a good atmosphere and the host was very accommodating.

We had a wonderful NewYears stay at the dolls house, Victoria is a great host, very responsive. The bathrooms are better than a five star hotel, the beds are comfortable, no trouble sleeping, even though you are in the town, it is quiet. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs, all of which are a very short distance away. It was the perfect place to stay! The only downside was the lock box, very difficult to get too. I really want to stress though, this is no fault of Victoria’s, the rules of a grade listed building state the lockbox can’t be near the door. Unfortunately for us Victoria was away when we stayed, so was unable to let us in, she really worried about that, but it was just one of those things. We are already talking about going back again, we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Victoria, we really appreciate all your hard work!

A delightful weekend stay Yaverland - an easy 20 minute walk down the hill to Sandown and in a quiet holiday park - backing onto beautiful trees and nature. Had a lovely walk along the cliffs and spent the day biking around the surrounding towns. The host made every accommodation for guests - well set up with tea, coffee and biscuits there for you on arrival! The chalet has been very thoughtfully renovated, very cleanly, great wifi and large TV for Olympic viewing. A great getaway! We didn’t have a car as we like walking and biking but would advise a car for the Isle of Wight if here for longer as it’s larger than it looks, and this place is not right in the township. Great communication throughout and would definitely recommend it!

You found us a beautiful place, it was ready for us so quickly and was even more lovely than our original booking. The owner was very friendly, also. It is such a beautiful home, with an outdoor space, a big bed in the main bedroom, beautifully furnished and quiet! We booked the place for my family to stay for the night for my graduation so we didn’t really get to do a lot inside the flat. However, the check in is really easy and they were very helpful and responsive. There’s a phone number to call on if you need to reach them and also an office. I honestly thought the place is located in a very nice location (3-5 mins walk to the beach too). The house and rooms are very clean and looks lovely! Would stay again if needed a place to stay on. Lovely host!

The space was clean and cosy, and exactly as described. Alexandra was an exceptional host—she went above and beyond to make my visit special. I had a special request for Valentine's Day, and she kindly decorated the room with beautiful flowers, making the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Spacious, very comfortable cottage in a beautiful estate in the New Forest, with wildlife all around you. Perfect location from which to explore the area. Sandra welcomed us on arrival and provided a lot of useful information.

This is our second time staying at Amanda's beautiful cottage and we will continue to come back as long as she'll have us. It's spacious, comfortable, is in a great location, and has plenty of parking nearby. Everything is walkable from her place and it is super easy to get to. There are sights, a grocery, and plenty of shopping and dining nearby. As for the place, the kitchen is perfectly appointed, beds are very comfortable and Amanda was even nice enough to leave us a welcome gift in the refrigerator! Thank you! Communication is perfect every step of the way and the unit is super easy to get into. We love coming to Arundel and will be back! Thank you for another amazing stay, Amanda. Hope to see you / the cottage next year.

Incredibly peaceful break away. Calm, scenic and wonderfully comfortable stay in a beautiful cottage. Immersed in nature, wide variety of plants, trees, birds and even spotted a herd of deer. Lovely pubs a short drive away and great local footpaths. Hazel and Andrew were attentive and ever so thoughtful.

Excellent! As soon as we walked in the door, it felt like home. Loved all the little touches. Thank you! Would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was lovely and in a perfect location near to nice restaurants (the red lion was great). The courtyard was really safe for our dog, and the estuary being so close was a huge bonus for taking out our kayak and paddleboard! Couldn’t recommend it more, thank you 😁

What a wonderful place! Presented, equipped and furnished to an excellent standard, extremely cosy and comfortable, and of course spotlessly clean. Many kind and thoughtful touches, especially the breakfast goodies and snacks. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and yes, you may see deer and alpacas right outside! We were made really welcome and hope to return soon. Tip: the entrance is right at the south end of the road named in the directions and is easy to identify.

We spent 3 lovely nights at Jane’s place, which served as a lovely warm, cozy spot for my family and in-laws. The house was beautifully decorated for Xmas and there was a festive hamper waiting for us on arrival. All 3 bedrooms were very comfortable, each with ensuite bathrooms. Whilst the house is located next to a fairly busy road, we weren’t bothered by the noise and the location was just a short drive to the nearby towns and a selection of good eateries (Rosie Lee House and Daisy Tea Garden make great breakfasts /lunches / cakes). Jane is a responsive host and gave us plenty of tips on where to visit. I’m sure the house also makes a great spot during summertime given the expansive front lawn and bbq set.

We had a fab long weekend here. Very comfortable, clean and warm, in an incredible setting. Thank you, Lisa, for welcoming us into your cottage and making our stay so comfortable. We hope to see you again.
