Holiday houses in Portnancon

Michele’s home was a wonderful place for us to spend some time with extended family in Scotland. Its location overlooking Inverness was beautiful. Great spot to chill out. There is a bus stop in easy reach of the house if you don’t have a car with you or a 10 minute drive into Inverness itself. Lots of space for everyone inside so we never felt we were on top of each other. Really comfortable beds! A real home from home and will definitely come back here on a return trip to Inverness

Our stay here was absolutely brilliant. Loved the house, loved the location and loved the bath!! Wish we had read the house instructions properly because we both had a cold shower without realising we could have boosted the hot water but hopefully others won’t make the same mistake as us! Saw the northern lights too which was epic. Really lovely space, lovely and cosy home and perfect way to spend our mini moon.

Lovely spacious accommodation with plenty of space for all the family. Everything you’d need for your stay was available. Lots of easy parking. Essentials provided including home baked biscuits and cake.

Awesome place close to John 0' Groats, castles and amazing walks. Very peaceful and quiet setting. A perfect spot to come home to after a day of exploring the area. I will definitely be back.

Another wonderful stay at St Trinneans. Plenty of room for 3 generations of our family - 7 in all. We've stayed her a few times now and Karen is always easy to contact and very friendly to deal with. The property is clean, comfortable and cosy with wonderful views. Thoroughly recommend and I'm sure we will be back before too long. Thanks again Karen.

This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.

Beautiful quiet environment. Bethany is a really friendly and helpful host. The room is really clean with clean beds and a great bathroom. Certainly recommended.

We had a very restful stay at the Gatehouse in this very unique property. Lovely welcoming hamper and spotlessly clean on arrival. We would highly recommend.
