Cottage holiday rentals in Portloe

We stayed here for the weekend and it was so peaceful and lovely! Mark met us at check in, he was so l through everything with us. There was a welcome basket, a little note on the fridge and the place was spotless. We had such a wonderful weekend, really relaxed. Mark and Tracey had the sauna and hot tub ready for when we asked, we didnt need to do anything! There were candles, music, lights, it was beautiful esepcially in the evening. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

Just Perfect. Was met by Helen who gave us instructions how to use everything and where everything was and advice on places to visit and things to do. The accommodation was just Beautiful and everything that you need was provided with the added bonus of a warm home made loaf of bread, scones with jam, butter and clotted cream and cup cakes with welcome note and wi fi details which was perfect start to holiday. The cottage had everything you could need or want. It was spotless and beautiful and warm as it was freezing outside when we were there. Beautiful log burner added to the ambience. Hot Tub was amazing and soooooo warm. I can imagine if you visited the cottage in the summer the beautiful deck would be perfect with furniture and BBQ but obviously in December we didn't use it. Nothing more to say really except "Perfect" and we had a Perfect 5 day stay so would highly recommend it. Sheila and Tony

Our stay at Shaun’s cottage was lovely. I’d fully recommend it . It was tastefully decorated and very clean and cosy. We bought logs from home and lit the wood burner, even though the cottage was extremely toastie without it. The local pub is a 2 minute walk away where we had a delicious lmeal and chat with the locals. And to top it all the hot tub make out stay. We will be back ! Thank you 😊

Lovely place! Cosy and comfortable, with a really pleasing sense of personality. Charming spot on the edge of the farm. pretty little gardens around, peaceful and quiet. The hot tub and woodburner are delightful. An excellent location if you want to explore the edge of the Cornwall while also staying away from the rush. Bonus - delishious fresh cream tea from the lovely host was awaiting us upon arrival. We were truly impressed at the sustainable farm that the hosts are running. If you are a carbon-concious holiday maker, this is the place for you.

The accommodation was beautifully laid out, clean, tidy and well organised. Nothing was too much trouble, from recommendations to instructions to even running down additional supplies and equipment to make everything that little bit easier. Descriptions were very clear, bed was comfortable and the bathroom is just breathtaking. It could be our new go to retreat for weekend escapes.

Lovely cottage, fab location with a short walk to the beach and restaurants and lovely owners. Very helpful with any questions before and during the stay. Hot tub was a great addition for January evenings. Will definitely be back x

Lovely stay at Bumblebee cottage. Very comfy bed, comfy sofas and lovely kitchen and bathroom. Hot tub is massive bonus. Pub walking distance.

Beautiful cottage in a very quiet spot. Ideal for two people, cottage was so well equipped and the host had left some lovely treats for us. Cannot fault any part of it, was exactly as described and perfect place for our Christmas break

We had a great week in St Agnes staying in this lovely home. Everything we needed was in the house, the rooms are all spacious and the beds were comfy enough for a few nights. Great to have the children’s toys. Location is brilliant! Although there’s no parking this wasn’t an issue, we mostly had no problem finding a space on the road outside and if not there’s a long stay car park a very short walk up the road. Perfect.

A beautiful cottage which had everything we needed. The basket of goodies in the fridge were much appreciated.

A lovely, warm place that's close to everything but still remarkably peaceful. Belinda's cottage is five minutes' walk from a cracking good pub, five minutes walk from the estuary and old quay, five minutes (slow) jog from the Coast to Coast trail and easily driveable to most places you'll want to go. There's plenty of room, everything you'll need and you can park right outside (or very nearly). And a huge thank you to Belinda for being so generous with local tips and advice.

Just back from a mini break at Shell Cottage. So often you stay at places that are furnished with odds and ends but Shell Cottage was beautiful. Lovely furniture, accessories, bedding and everything you could need for a break. It also has Netflix for dark winter evenings. The parking is in front of the property. It’s a beautiful location, very quiet with just the sound of the owl hooting. It’s a great spot for visiting Falmouth and the surrounding area. Shelley was great to deal with, really prompt in her responses and allowed us to check in and out with flexibility. We will definitely be staying at Shell Cottage again! Many thanks.

A beautiful peaceful stay, close enough to local beauty spots and within perfect distance of the A30 Jess was a great host who went out of her way to help in any way possible Lovely to be greeted by her dad, John, at the start of our visit, to check we had settled in well. We can’t wait to return

Wonderful few days in Portscatho at Veronica Cottage. Jenny was so helpful and the information was excellent. House is in a lovely location with easy walk to pubs, beach and coast path. We loved the style and felt right at home. Very well equipped and perfect size for us with a nice safe garden for the dogs. Thanks again!

A beautiful gem in a fabulous serene location near so many brilliant places in Cornwall. Perfectly furnished and thoughtful set up. Super helpful and friendly host - down to getting the bbq ready for us and being able to hose down wetsuits on site plus lots of great local recommendations - plus very quick responses and let us know we could check in early. Could not recommend enough (except to ensure there’s some availability next summer so we can return!). Exactly what we needed and such a stunning private garden too - ideal if you are bringing a furry friend. Many thanks and hope to be back soon

Absolutely lovely stay!! Jayce and Hannah were really responsive and gave us loads of useful tips and ideas whilst visiting. The cottage was cozy and very clean. The only small issue was the electric fire was the only source of heat in the main part of the cottage and we did feel a little cold in the evenings but we wrapped up and we were absolutely fine. Just bear in mind if visiting during colder months. Would happily recommend!!

Lovely place as a base for a great holiday in Cornwall with the family!

Trevor & Sarah made us feel very welcome, and we're fantastic hosts. beautiful location, surroundings and accommodation. watching the birds on the garden feeders just outside in the garden with a nice glass of wine was so relaxing. completely recommend a stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - our second visit and perfectly situated for visiting our sister lives nearby. We loved the accommodation and found Maria and her husband to be on hand and very helpful. We will book again when next visiting Cornwall.

Loved staying in Bumblebee cottage. We picked it due to it's location and it looked a lovely cottage. It did not disappoint. We travelled around and nowhere was too far. The Quarryman Inn was great. Food delicious and friendly staff. Recommend booking if travelling with a dog like us, as you need to be in the bar area. We had flowers, prosecco and milk waiting for us which was a lovely touch. Would love to stay here again.

We had the best time at River Cottage. We felt right at home in the cosy, quiet space and it's the perfect location for exploring the beautiful surroundings and adventuring the coastal paths. The towns Penzance and Hayle are just a short distance away and St Erth train station which takes you into St Ives in about 10 minutes. Lucy and Adrian are very welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions for our short stay. I would have happily stayed longer. I can't recommend enough. Thank you 😊

Such a lovely place to stay. Pretty bumblebee theme everywhere. Cosy and warm, even with the storm raging outside. Loved that there was milk in the fridge and scones and cream waiting for us. Really nice Airbnb and great value too. Thanks for having us

This is a charming house to stay at, with character and features. The log burner was a treat as the weather turned cold during our stay. House overall warm and cosy in the Autumn/Winter months. We loved the hens, being able to freely visit them and walk in the gardens. My daughter loved wildlife spotting in the garden. We found red admiral butterflies that lingered in the woodland area. And a few squirrels. The trampoline is large and perfect for adults who like to have a brief moment to themselves... (!) Recommend sunset views from the trampoline!
