Holiday houses in Port Crane

Our family, along with another family, had the pleasure of staying at this charming house over Thanksgiving weekend, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived, which immediately made us feel at ease. It was not only spacious and comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The layout and amenities were perfect for creating lasting memories together as we cooked, relaxed, and enjoyed the holiday. Every detail seemed carefully considered, making it a cozy and welcoming home away from home. This place was wonderful—cozy, clean, great location, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen. Felt right at home. Patty was awesome in communication with everything from start to finish!

Another great stay - always a great stay. I hesitate to over-recommend because then I’ll never be able to book! But…Quick complementary bus ride to Greek Peak any time of day or night. Easy parking. Suzan’s place is top notch. I’ve stayed at others at Greek Peak when Suzan’s wasn’t available and none compares. Clean (so clean…like, I want to steal her cleaners and relocate them to my city clean), comfortable, well-stocked kitchen. And Suzan is great - great communication, thoughtful. Can’t recommend enough - thought I’ll regret this when I can’t get a reservation. :-)

This was my family's third stay with Deb. As with prior visits, everything was perfect. There isn't anything that you could possibly need during your visit that hasn't been tucked away somewhere in this rental for your use. The generous and wide array of breakfast and snack items provided is absolutely the cherry on top. As if they could improve on the outdoor amenities, we enjoyed their new patio furniture this visit, and noticed a couple new lawn games. Our daughter has two more years in Ithaca's PT program, so looking forward to returning several more times in the future!

Tracy’s property is stunning. You can simply sit out and enjoy the views but we took advantage of the lake and spent almost the whole day out on kayaks. It was beautiful. We enjoyed the grill and the huge tv in the living room. Tracy was helpful and attentive. We can’t wait to visit again!

What a beautiful piece of heaven in Windsor. A peaceful home in front of the Susquehanna river. I didn’t realize how sleep deprived I was when I arrived on Thursday. I work in health care and felt as if I haven’t slept in 4 years since Covid devoured and displaced my life . I slept for an average of 13 hours per night enjoying the ever deserving peace I needed away from the hustling and bustling of downstate New York/ Li. I also cooked most of the nights enjoying a great Caribbean meal. I also felt very blessed being at Amy’s and Bob’s place and just love the breathtaking atmosphere and feel this home gave me. Thanks again for having US. You were both amazing host.

Sean’s cabin is so impressively constructed. The massive logs give you a sense of serenity and companionship with nature. Being there in the stillness of winter - with the added treat of snow, really emphasized these feelings. It was chilly at first, but once the fire got roaring, it was super cozy. There was a bit of trouble getting it going at first, but Sean was quick to provide tips, and helpful recommendations. I was able to pick up some fire starter pieces in the nearby cute town of Hancock, NY at The Old Bat Factory (general store/cafe). I would love to return for another visit. There was something special about being there alone. In that stillness…walking down the snow covered clear-cut path to the river with iced edges…being able to “plug-in” and stream a movie…or not. A wonderful place to “just BE”…Or not.

The cabin was awesome, owls everywhere in a good way. Very homey, with something for everyone the kids and the dog. The host was very communicative and very gracious if you need anything.

Very beautiful place, we loved the little window by the fireplace that looked into the water! Will definitely have to come in the summer for a different experience on the lake!
