Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Port Alberni

The pictures don't really do justice to how beautiful this home is! It's spacious, modern, inviting, well-appointed, and convenient. Despite being right off of a major road (which is very convenient), the property is quiet and peaceful. The space available was entirely private - we never even had an inkling that we were sharing the property with anyone else. Check in was a breeze, and the entire experience was well supported by the owners. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again any time.

Alexandra's Airbnb in Nanaimo, BC was just great--so much so that with regard to the star ratings I wish I could have given greater than five! In fact, the location gives life to the slogan Beautiful BC, situated on the coast as it is with full view of the islands and inlets which give coastal British Columbia its unique flavor. We enjoyed the hot tub, and beach below, views of the ferries and bird life and tides, the weather coming in and so much more. The binoculars on the table upstairs got a lot of use, and were one of the many neat features of this lovely house. Plus, the easy access to town was perfect for us! Thank you, Alexandra, for a lovely time, and we hope to be return guests if you'll have us in the not too distant future!

We had a wonderful time staying here with Scott and Shaidah. Especially loved how well stocked the kitchen was, from appliances to supplies, we had everything we needed and more. The house itself and the surrounding areas were gorgeous. Would love to stay again

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful decor and a cozy atmosphere that made it feel like home. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and it was clear that a lot of care went into ensuring guests have a great experience. The only minor issue was that I couldn’t find a power outlet in the studio to plug in my laptop, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. Our stay at Anna's was wonderful. We were a group of 4 ladies and we stayed for 4 nights. We were all impressed by how cozy, well stocked and clean the place was. The place was spotless, shower is awesome, beds are comfortable (twin bed mattresses are suitable for kids, not adults), coffee is provided. We walked to the beach everyday and the street was quiet and peaceful. Check in was easy and Anna was wonderful. Photos in the ad represent the home well. Great stay and we would stay again. This was my partner and I's second time staying here, we love it. The hosts went out of their way to put a package inside for me that was dropped off. It is so clean and they have their own branded soap, so adorable!

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

One of my favourite places I've stayed on the island so far. Next time id love to come back when the kayaks and paddle boards are available to take out. The timing of our trip wasn't great for that so it was the only thing we missed out on due to the season. But the outdoor hot tub and resort restaurant were incredible. Best fish and chips ive ever had! The resort gym was also a lot better than I expected and it was so nice to have all these amenities available during our stay. Highly recommend!!

We had a really great time at this very comfortable townhouse! Derek was a very responsive host and was incredibly accommodating of us traveling with a baby. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the place but man, the loop markings need some work. I tried to used the outside plug to trickle charge my Tesla twice and the 15 amp breaker reset each time but it took 15-20 minutes each time. This happened at our Yakima home as well as our home in Seattle we just moved into. I have a home charger with a dedicated 60 amp circuit that works just fine I use and the chargers are 15-20 or 30-40 minutes away into Nanaimo and work great.

An older home with lots of character...it exceeded our expectations! Well maintained and very spacious. Lots of room for guests to mingle or to find a quiet spot of their own. Our group of 7 women appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the comfy beds and the many bathrooms. And it was good fun having "our own" indoor, heated pool and hot tub. Located in the middle of the island, the property provided a great home base from which to explore Gabriola. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Janie's place to friends and family, and I hope to return someday soon.

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

My stay at Bill's property was nothing short of amazing. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could have asked for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, communication was seamless, Bill was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, making every morning and evening feel special. This is the third time that we’ve been back to the condos and I’m sure we’ll keep visiting in the future. Besides just how amazing the property and surroundings are, our condo came exactly as advertised. Perfect place for my family and dogs to spend a week. The condo was perfectly clean and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommended!

Besides being an excellent spot to look over the water & Mountains, it also felt like home. Many great touches make it feel homey, and it has everything you need for the perfect stay. It is not close to much, but we were looking for a home as we spent 10 nights and wanted to be close to my family that is out there. Natasha, well, there isn't enough space to say how wonderful she was. You will LOVE THIS SPACE, and you will LOVE NATASHA.

We had a great time at this air bnb. We could really tell that there was a lot of thoughtfulness that went into the place, in the furnishings, amenities, and - something people often overlook - safety! There was a sign from the city stating that it was a legal suite and there were flashlights by the light switches in case of an emergency. I also really appreciated that it was pet friendly and very clean. Thanks!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. We had a large group of 15 and it was perfect for everyone. Fred was very helpful, but respective of our space. Fred understand we were a large group and let us have our fun. Would highly recommend to any large groups.

This suite was perfect. Easy to get to, close to the shops. Kenny was easy to contact. The house and kitchen were well appointed. Lots of towels/ soaps/trash bags etc. Would recommend staying here. Lovely to be able to have our dog there.

The cabin and location was perfect. The natural beauty, view of the water and the resident sheep from the large windows was just fabulous. Nikki was extremely patient and responsive as my stay was over the winter storm weather and I was concerned about the ferry schedules. It all worked out and it was a lovely relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

Mokie's Zen Den is a very aptly named. The location is great and the property is spectacular. We loved the layout of the tiny house and how bright and spacious it is. It is very tastefully designed with modern fixtures and appliances. It has everything you need. The views are amazing with stunning sunsets every evening. It is so beautiful we barely left the property. We did enjoy one delicious dinner out at Tu Bird which is only a 2 minute drive away so extremely convenient! We even got to experience star filled skies and an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our last night. There are not enough superlatives for this property!!

It's the real deal - quiet, clean, cozy, well managed: well equipped and in a great spot for doing a lot of different things, from beach walks to shopping and skiing. We already miss it, and will be back. Thanks!
