Beachfront holiday rental in Popenguine

This is one of the most beautiful homes I've ever stayed in. It is stunning, spacious, contemporary, luxurious, and peaceful. The home is easy to find, VERY secure with community security, and close to everything you'd need or want in the Saly/Somone area. Caroline, Alexandre and Jean-Michael are so friendly, responsive, and welcoming. I didn't want to leave and surely hope to be back whenever I stay in the area. Thank you! 5-star experience all around.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Angela’s place. Angela is very responsive and the house guardian, Abdoulaye was extremely helpful. Starting at my airport pickup, every request was answered. I didn’t realize how far Dakar is from the home, but Abdoulaye ensured I had a driver whenever I wanted to go anywhere. Location, location, location!! This house is literally on the beach. The view is amazing. I loved watching the fishermen out on the water and seeing the kids playing. I should also note that the WiFi works wonderfully. Overall, I loved my stay. Thank you Angela!

Great bedrooms with each bathroom it's convenient. We had a large group and each had their own space. The inside or outside of the house is pleasant to live in. Macumba very kind and good advice! Well located in the Simone, everything was easy to do even on foot.

This was our second time staying at Eric's place and it was excellent. Eric is a great host and very helpful. We will definitely come again. The pool is a perfect size and the land is beautiful. The cook can make everything we wanted.

Firstly, I’ll start by saying we loved the place so much we extended our stay and booked 2 extra nights!! The property is stunning and definitely worth the stay! It’s right on the beach so there’s not much more you can ask for! It took us an 8 minute walk to the local supermarkets and town and a 10 minute walk along the beach front to enjoy and experience the beach clubs and restaurants. Isabelle (the lady of the house) was an absolute sweetheart, she made us feel very welcome and cleaned the house very thoroughly even if we went out early. The rest of the staff at the house were also great, so a big thank you. A very special mention to Cybille (the owner) who has got to be one of the very best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever communicated with. Every single request or question was met with a rapid response and in some cases super proactive solutions. I could not fault the service. Cybille truly wants you to have the best vacation in her home and we certainly did! We can’t wait to return!

Janique’s house was really an unforgettable moment, house really nice giving Cancun vibes and well equipped as it said on description , located in a peaceful area right in front of the beach, staff was really helpful , Everything was on point . Will definitely be back !!

A lovely house inside a gated community, next to the community pool and within easy walking distance of the beach qmd severalcute beach bars and restaurants. Communication with Laurence and Marie was easy. A great location for a family getaway.

Beautiful house for a stay with friends. The splendid view, access to the sea, the pool and the idyllic garden. Moe helped us on arrival, at the start, for our barbecues, and Pauline cooked us two delicious lunches. I recommend it!

Excellent compromise less than an hour from the airport, in a secure residence, and within reasonable distance of Saly center. Many nearby shops, private beach on the edge of the residence, and the villa and its garden are a haven of peace. Fully equipped, it meets all the expectations for a week in the sun.

Beautiful seaside house with large garden and direct access to the beach. Very responsive and flexible host and welcoming and available house staff. Perfect place to spend a few days with several families with children thanks to the many common areas and some rooms with several beds. The Somone Lagoon can be reached on foot by the beach (20 minutes).

Thanks for this beautiful stay at the villa in Saly. The accommodation is clean, very well-equipped and Maguette was very attentive throughout our stay. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place and the quick access to the pool and beach. I would recommend this intimate and cozy villa.

Family stay with children and grandchildren the house was ideal to welcome us, 50 meters from the beach and very close to the village. We were very very well received by Abdou the caretaker of the house who is a very, very kind, helpful and attentive person and very good advice . Marie who comes to clean twice a week and possibly cook at our request is also a good person. all this to say that we had a lovely stay .

The house is located in a beautiful secure residence very well maintained, thank you again to Anna, the housekeeper who is an outstanding cook, always attentive to my needs. Really very pretty house, well maintained and well decorated... Everything for a perfect stay! The nearby beach is splendid... I highly recommend Annick's home for a peaceful stay.

We had a good stay at Daphne’s home. The property is decorated as a home, and contains a lot more character than your average Airbnb. The views are the stand out here, with the upstairs lounge area being quite spectacular. There’s AC in the main bedroom which we were grateful for. If you’re arriving by taxi, I would recommend stopping at a supermarket en route, and you’ll have local mini stores to fill the gaps. Having your own transport would probably preferable, however, though not essential. I would recommend having either Wave Money or Orange Money on account prior to arrival, as this will be a real help locally, where there isn’t the infrastructure to top up, as well as being vital for recharging the WiFi. (Daphne kindly paid for our first top ups).

The villa del pop, is large welcoming, very well equipped.. Basically, perfect for a stay with family and/or friends. It is well placed, the sea view with sunset/sunrise from the pool, excellent! Delphine is very responsive. PS. Plan to do your shopping for your stay before entering popenguine, no large supermarket on site.

This was our second time staying here as a family with two children. We had a great time again! The apartment is clean, well-equipped and well-maintained. Fabienne communicates really well. We especially love the location, with easy access to the beach, a swimming pool perfect for young children learning to swim, and shops conveniently located just across the road.

Fantastic stay at Christine’s place, literally 2 minutes to the beach or pool. Very tranquil spot. Christine was very responsive throughout the stay. Lovely housekeeper Suzanne made delicious food for us to enjoy which was an extra bonus!

We arrived at night we had to declare ourselves at the night guard of the residence. The residents are super nice and the staff too. It's very friendly. We were there for the first time in Senegal and we had a lot of advice. Email is payable at the end of the stay. There are taxis on the main street that is perpendicular to the residence. There is the Obama and the safari right next door to enjoy eating good food and enjoying on the beach at reasonable prices. There was just no shower gel. There is the crossroads 8 min walk and full of little ones on the main street 3 min away. And nightclubs and bars like the Riviera is 3 min by taxi for 1000 fR that's great. A great stay with the communal pool of the residence which is right across the villa. Or we can meet very nice people for good advice. There is the A/C in the living room in the bedroom upstairs as well as in the downstairs bedroom. And the villa is bigger

We enjoyed our stay at Kareem’s airbnb. It is in a quiet neighborhood, just a couple minutes walk from the beach. The house is clean and feels like home. Etienne the guardian is friendly and available. We would 10/10 stay here again!
