Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ponta Delgada

Highly recommend this 3 bedroom house. Location is good and easy to get to off the highway. Grocery shopping is nearby. Andre made us feel at home by welcoming us to check in early and leaving wine and snacks for us. Bedroom have lots of extra pillows and blankets. Bathroom is stocked with extra towels and amenities. Andre is responsive and helpful.

We stayed at Maria's place for a week. It was beautiful, the place, view and the garden, a dream. Everything was clean, the kitchen really well equipped. We were able to heat and cool as desired. If something was missing, it was brought immediately as Maria was also on site. Maria told us many stories and tips about the island, which was very interesting and helpful. We could park our car in the locked courtyard. We were very safe all over the property. The internet sometimes didn't work, so if you want to work there, you're warned. Yes, it has two curious cats, but they are super sweet and can be carried away when they are in the way. We recommend Maria's place to anyone who wants to explore São Miguel with a car and appreciate quiet morning and evening hours. We would come back to stay:)

We had a great time staying in Água de alto. The house was perfect for our group and Selma was an excellent host with lots of great recommendations. The house was comfortable, clean, and peaceful. The view is amazing and the stairs to the beach are just outside the gate. The location was central to a lot of the things we wanted to do with short drives into Villa Franca, Ponta Delgada, Furnas, and Ribeira Grande. We can’t wait to come back! PS The road into the property is tight, but we were able to fit a small rental SUV with the mirrors tucked.

Beautiful place, much bigger than the pictures make it seem. We were 4 single travellers and it was perfect for us. Ana couldn’t have been more helpful

The accommodation is absolutely perfect. large bedrooms, a most pleasant living/kitchen, a spacious exterior. the house is impeccably clean, perfectly equipped and ideally located, 2 minutes walk from the beach and surf breaks and stunning ocean views. for hikers, a splendid path is nearby. Andres is a thoughtful host. Go there without so much as a second thought!

The view is amazing! The town is very quiet and everyone was so friendly. I can’t wait to come visit again!

Nothing like the view. The small beach near house was so special...bit of a hike down but worth it. Great walks into village, to waterfall and along ocean. Porto Formoso was so quaint and had a few good restaurants near by. Great house to explore island from. I was highly recommend exploring Nordeste as well.

My wife and I had a peaceful, restful stay at this beautiful home on the island. We spent our ten days here reading, drawing, resting, and doing some outings to enjoy the island’s hot springs and waterfalls. The house was clean, simply but beautifully furnished, within a 3 minute drive from groceries and a few restaurants, and felt totally private and safe. We had everything we needed! Though my wife wasn’t bothered by it, I wished the neighbor’s dogs didn’t bark so much during the night (I’m a light sleeper). But the magical sunsets, luscious landscape, and charming home more than made up for that. Petra was flexible, communicative, and an absolutely wonderful host. We are so grateful for our lovely stay here, and would be so happy to return here one day! Thank you, Petra!

I though Felipe's place was great. If you're looking for privacy, this house is for you. I arrived right after the tourist season ended, but I would expect peace and quiet at this location year round. Even though the house is very secluded, it's only a short drive (maybe 5 minutes or so) to a major highway, then you can get anyplace on the island easily. I saw and did a lot of things all over Sao Miguel during my eight days, but the day I just sat in the sunroom sipping coffee and staring out over the ocean might have been the most relaxing time I can remember. Whenever I return to Sao Miguel, I am definitely going to check to see if this house is available again. Thanks for everything, Felipe!

The host Cristina was great. Very responsive to questions and requests. The house was amazing. Lots of room, great pool. I would recommend booking the house if you are going to stay in Sao Miguel. We spent five nights there with my wife, excellent location, well equipped and large apartment which fits perfectly with the vibe of the island. Romy (and her husband) is a great host, kind and very helpful. I strongly recommend their place for everyone.

We had a wonderful stay. Paula and Jose were terrific. Very responsive and helpful. The house offered much to do, beautiful swimming areas across the street, and short drive to great restaurants. Our group had plenty of space to get together and spread out. Would definitely come again.

The place was as described. The rooms are very cozily furnished and the apartment offers two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms extensive space for four. The pool was great and was used by us regularly. The communication with Alexandra was always very pleasant. In particular, she was very understanding and relaxed when we let her know that our arrival would be delayed. Unfortunately, the nights were not very relaxing for us (adults) due to the pungent dog bark in the neighborhood (the children hardly bothered it). However, we had already been informed about this in advance by the advertisement as by the reviews. I do not want to negatively rate this here. Everyone has to think about how sensitive they respond to such noises.

Our stay at Soledade went wonderfully well. Soledade is a very kind and warm person. We were also pleasantly surprised by the place which is even better than in the photos. The home and pool are set in a small complex lined with trees and plants. This place is very airy and peaceful. In addition, we were very well located to visit the whole island and also close to a beautiful beach and good restaurants. We would highly recommend this listing.

Silvino is a lovely man, he had the detail to host us in the early morning and show us his beautiful super house. The next day he brought us a lot of bananas which were delicious. Definitely a 10-star host. I hope to go back💜

Great stay , exactly as described , beautiful views ,great upstairs patio . was met by Antonio at exact time we requested , very friendly . Landed on Sunday ,note everything is closed. He actually took me in his vehicle to show me the one eatery open,very good . went above and beyond, great small village feel

Staying at Adélia was really good. The place is nice, well equipped, lots of linen and towels,the host very friendly and helpful, and did not disturb me at all. I went in the winter so I could use a lot the outside and the house has some humidity due to the winter, but with the AC, not a problem at all

it is super good, both pricey and what the accommodation is. a very monkey terrace from where you see the sea, it is less than 15 minutes from the area of the thin ponta airport and very friendly at all times.. we had a flight delay of 12 hours, where we arrived at the early morning house, and. still couldn't have problem, thank you!

João's house was cozy and sweet. there is a lot of outdoor space, including a garden patio with almost no light pollution, so it was a great place to see the stars. João was super friendly and I highly recommend his place!

I rented this accommodation for 2 weeks with a large group and everything was great. The villa has everything you need to live there for a long time. Good internet, everything you need for cooking, space for shared activities. Each room has air conditioning so even in winter it is still warm inside. The villa is located about in the middle of the island, so it was convenient for us to get out for walks almost anywhere on the island. There is space in the courtyard to park several cars. Our 2 weeks at the villa were great, the management company was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had
