Holiday houses in Ponhook Lake

What can I say! This place is stunning!! The lake is beautiful and the hot tub was amazing! The house was beyond clean and beautifully decorated! The two bedrooms are spacious and the beds were SO COMFORTABLE! Four of us came to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday and this place didn’t disappoint! I asked Danny if we should bring anything specific and he said the feedback was “everything is there” and it was! From bath robes to super dry wood/ kindling. To even birthday candles! They had nice cozy blankets so we could enjoy the fire pit. The towels were of great size for the shower and the hot tub. A portable speaker was also there so we could listen to music outside. They even had q-tips and make up remover towels - great touch! There was even a bottle of wine was waiting for us when we checked in. We were able to watch tv with the fire stick and also play board games — great selection! My daughter and her friend said this was by far the best Airbnb! - I agree!We hope to come back!

Peaceful and relaxing. A home away from home with its beautiful open concept, spacious kitchen, large open deck, and the best views ever from the primary bedroom. Just about everything you'd need is supplied. Extremely accommodating with our 4 cats and never any hesitation. Check in is scheduled for 3:00PM, but we had a message saying we could check in earlier. The view is absolutely stunning all throughout the cottage from the beautiful north Atlantic ocean across the street to the family of three deer casually exploring the area. The fireplace is the perfect way to warm up in winter. I can only imagine how nice it would be in summer with two beaches so close by. We enjoyed our Christmas immensely at The Lookout that we were sad when it came time to leave.

we loved everything about the beach cottage! Everything is as described, with every detail taken care of! Sweet Ethel is a delight!! Easily the best Air BnB we have stayed in! Thank you so much Ethel for making our 10 day stay wonderful! we will be back!!!

We had booked planning to spend Christmas but due to a pending storm we adjusted our travel dates. The changes were quickly accepted when we submitted the request. The cottage we rented was beautifully decorated and had everything we required for our stay. We certainly enjoyed the ocean view and gorgeous sunrises both mornings of our stay. I hope to return at some point and explore the area a bit more.

We absolutely loved this place. Will definitely book again in the future. If you’re looking for a relaxed vacation environment I highly recommend this place!

Our group of six enjoyed the cottage and bunkie. There is a lot of room to spread out and pursue different activities. The deck on the lake is a highlight. There are plenty of board games and comfy seating inside if the weather isn't cooperating. It was warm and cozy when the temperature dropped in early November. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area - Annapolis Royal, Kejimkujik Park, and Digby. The property is in a remote lakeside location in a small cottage community.

The cottage is very spacious while being cozy. During our stay, we explored the area, did some hiking and visited some restaurants in Wolfville, which was only a 15 minute drive. The airbnb was a good price for the space available.

We spent two nights at Jocelyn’s place and it was just so lovely and relaxing. We were within a short drive of Whitepoint and Summerville beaches which were stunning, even on a cool fall day. The house was more than comfortable and well stocked. The grounds were perfect for letting our doggo run with his ball and we had a lovely walk in the area. Great place and super host!
