We had a great time. Close to skiing and a peaceful getaway. There have been some upgrades that just made it even better than the listing.

The Tannery is such a charming home with a combination of antique and modern furnishings and art work. The location is outstanding. There is a big back yard that leads to a river with a private dipping pool. You can easily walk to the village and eat at the excellent Waterwheel restaurant . The Warm Springs baths are also very close and are very enjoyable. The bed at the Tannery is very comfortable, the shower water is plenty hot, and the kitchen well equipped. The internet is awesome. We would definitely like to return in the Spring or Summer.

place matches the pictures! has lots of space for everyone and is close to snowshoe for skiing. little tricky getting up and down to it but that's described in the listing! there were A LOT of lady bugs everywhere. out of everything my groups biggest suggestion for the place would be some form or curtains. especially for the day bed that's in the loft, just having the option to close them would have been nice. otherwise, good place and good value

The house is amazing, what a view of the sunset!!! Cristina was the most responsive host we have ever had, which is very important during the winter in a semi secluded environment. We had a foot of snow and she made sure the road was plowed and the walkway was shoveled, she went way above and beyond. We brought 2 dogs, and there is easy access to a paved walk path just up the hill and across the street, made it way easier than we thought for walks and potty time, a nice 20-25 minute out and back. We highly recommend this gem.

The cabin getaway was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy and welcoming to meet our family quality time needs for the weekend. The hosts were not kidding about the no cell service for up to two hours, but we enjoyed this as WiFi worked well and when we drove to Snowshoe we were prepared with directions already downloaded. We experienced a winter storm, but it made the experience even better enjoying the cozy space of togetherness. We would most certainly stay here again. Thank you Jennifer & Rodney!

We loved our stay at Ruby’s Roost! Marie is an excellent host and the house was perfect for our family. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. There were so many special little touches that made me smile as we got settled in. Would love to come back again!!

Everything about our entire experience here was amazing! From the time we found it online to the time we left, Dimitri was so kind, friendly and helpful. His communication was outstanding and answered every question we had. The house is just the cutest historic home and we felt right at home. Loved the acreage because we were able to play outside with our children every day and didn’t even have the need to go anywhere! We did take a day to visit the train station right down the road that Dimitri told us about. He let us know the locations of the nearest Walmart from the house so we drove there on our way to the house and got everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t need to go out again but there was also a Dollar General just a few minutes down the road if we needed any other supplies. I loved swinging on the front porch and exploring the property. The “neighborhood” was beautiful and we loved taking walks. It was just amazing and we would love to go back! I didn’t want to leave!!

I had a wonderful time staying at this Airbnb as part of a ski trip to Snoeshow. The nine of us were very comfortable in this peaceful, secluded home, and it was a very easy drive back and forth from the ski slopes. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. The home itself is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for our cooking needs and we all slept well. I would love to stay here again on a future trip.

20 mins from snowshoe parking lot. Super cozy vibe and had all the amenities you’d expect. This place is perfect for hanging in all day or using as home base for a ski trip. Highly recommend ! Make sure have a 4WD vehicle.

Myself, my boyfriend and our 2 dogs had an awesome stay at Tony’s. The area was a perfect location for our ski trip to Snowshoe. We enjoyed how peaceful the location was and even though we had a lot of rain our last “ski day” we enjoyed being at the cabin with a fire going, watching movies. The dogs enjoyed going for walks and seeing the deer out and about. We brought in all our groceries (suggest you do the same) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. I would absolutely stay here again in the future! Tony was also very helpful and communicative throughout. Additionally, as two music lovers, we really appreciated the music themed photos/memorabilia.

This property was very beautiful and convenient for our group of 10. Clear check-in instructions and Mary was very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend for a nice weekend!

We really enjoyed spending a few days with our Border Collie at Hillside Haven. Great location and close to some really great hiking/driving. Highland Scenic Highway was awesome and we spent an entire day hiking trails dotted along it. The camper was a nice place to come back to at the end of a long day and cook a meal......resturant options in the area are mehh but im a snob about food so that might be just me 🤷. Would definitely stay here again.

Hosts obviously put a lot of thought into making their guests comfortable. For example, there's an extra heater in the bathroom and a Brita filter in the fridge. Plus the decor is lovely. Would definitely use again.

Loved the cabin and the restaurant on site of the resort! Very friendly staff and good food.

Moose Lodge was incredible from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hot tub in the back, which quickly became our post-run hangout spot. It offered an excellent view of the valley below, accompanied by the calming sounds of a rushing waterfall, all under a breathtaking view of the galaxy above. The living area was the perfect blend of vintage charm and cozy warmth, providing an open space for the group to gather without feeling cramped. The kitchen was spacious enough to cook every breakfast and dinner in the lodge, saving us a ton of money. The location was conveniently just 17 minutes from Snowshoe, West Virginia, and even closer to Silver Creek. If booking in the winter, it may be wise to have chains on your tires, but we had no issues, even after snowfall. I usually like to explore different Airbnb options when visiting the same vacation spot, but I can confidently say that the next time I’m in Snowshoe, I will be booking with James again.

Matt and Ashley’s place was beautiful. It was such a wonderful feeling to be by the fireplace and have the large windows to see the beautiful snow at night. We were met with some friendly deer in the driveway to watch as well. The shuttle was easy to get on to make it up to snowshoe and back. Completely hassle free. Would stay again, and recommend!

It was great stayy, we loved how cozyy and comfortable the cabin was. The house was arranged and stocked very thoughtfully. Has everything we need and both Taft and Deedee are really helpful! The hotub with the view is one of the best parts! Highly highly recommend this property!

We had an incredible stay at this cozy dome-shaped house nestled in the mountains! The home is beautifully laid out with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The game room was a huge hit — tons of fun and space for everyone to enjoy. The house was fully equipped with all the amenities we could want, including a relaxing hot tub that was perfect after a day on the slopes. The location was ideal, just a short distance from the slopes, making it super convenient for skiing. Plus, the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added such a warm, festive touch to our stay. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
