lovely house and kind host who is responsive to questions and assistance. the house is in a very good location, only a short walk to Pui O Beach and restaurants, taxi stand and bus stop only a minutes walk away. the house has plenty of room and facilities which is a nice surprise (a very welcomed feel) compared to accommodation in the central of HK! would definitely stay again if visiting the area :)

Jessie was the consummate host, and her place was a winner. She made sure we felt right at home by meeting us and guiding us to the property. In addition, she made sure we knew the best local spots and was available for any questions. The place itself was beautifully located in Yung Shue Wan; was well appointed; and had all the comforts we needed. The roof terrace was the cherry on top - pun intended. We hope we'll be able to stay again with Jessie.

Karin was quick to respond when we contacted her regarding our delay. She was friendly and understanding. The property was lovely, spacious and clean. The decor was quirky and inviting. We felt right at home from the get go. Karin was very helpful, taking delivery of my missing suitcase the day after our arrival and providing an ironing board as soon as requested. We highly recommend this Sai Kung Getaway Launch Pad though will highlight that the access road up to the property is very steep so not ideal for anyone with very young or elderly family members. However, it would be perfect for backpackers and hikers or for families like us with just one teenage child. Sai Kung is absolutely beautiful and minibuses into Sai Kung, Hang Hau and Diamond Hill are frequent so a great place to stay over all. We would love to stay again when we come back! Thank you Karin for a pleasant stay.

Nicolas is a very helpful and friendly host. He gave us a detailed instruction on how to get to the place and what restaurants and attractions around the area. We are a family of 4 so the place is not big for us but has everything we need. We stayed quite comfortably and love the top floor balcony which has the great view. You do need to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the unit. A short walk through the buffalo path where you can see the buffalos along the path is the bus stop. A lots of hiking tracks around the area. Overall a nice place to stay.

The accommodation was comfortably and clean and suited our requirements. The views from the windows were spectacular and watching sunrise with a morning coffee was very special. The easy access to public transport ensured that we really enjoyed our stay in Hong Kong.

Excellent location, close enough to the MTR, restaurants and shopping, yet not in the middle of tourist centers. Well equipped with a kitchen and washer, with laundromats just across the street. Coupled with Michelle's local guidance and generous care, this really felt like home away from home.

Great place, great host. If you are looking for a quiet place yet well connected place to stay, I highly recommend John's place. The place is tidy, clean and very roomy in Hong Kong standard. I love how it's surrounded with all the trees on the mountain, and it even offer a view of the ocean. Even though it's not as convenience to go to the city, I feel it's worth it.

It fit 5 of us comfortably. The location was a little bit further of a walk than we expected from Wan Chai MTR station but not terrible. It was equidistant from Wan Chai and Exhibition Center stations. Only 2 of the 3 showers were working and we were expecting a longer shower duration than just the 5 minutes of hot water we had per person before we had to wait for water to reheat. Kitchen was a little underwhelming if you're planning to cook. Wifi was great. AC was strong, maybe a little too strong, hard to keep it on through the night and regulate temperatures because it would either be too hot or too cold.
