Just what we needed, a nice getaway that was not too far from our home and was in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. there are lots of activities besides going to the beach, including many beautiful hikes in the surrounding area. The weather was rainy, so we did not get to go out that much but staying in the cozy cottage was perfect because we got to just kick back, hang out with each other, watch movies, and play card games. We tried to get the fire started in the fireplace, but because of the moisture in the air, the fire hood that was available for use was wet and even if we tried with a starter log, it did not burn that long. But that’s OK because it was more than enough heat from heaters that made it nice and warm in the cottage. Also, the cottage was next to one of the best coast side restaurants in the area—Parkside Cafe, where we dined every night—conveniently located just down the street. Excellent seafood! We definitely will come back and stay here.

This home was perfect for our group! Every year we book a place large enough for 5-13 people and spend a week together to ring in the new year. This was easily one of the best places we've stayed in! Lots of kitchen supplies, fun activities, clean towels and blankets, amazing instructions and manual made everything super easy, and Jules was incredibly responsive!! Couldn't ask for a better host or a better house!

Matt and Deb’s property was AMAZING! We were looking at relocating to the area and chose this property to stay at to get a feel for the area. It was the perfect choice. Beautiful view, great location, boat dock to bring your toys. The property is very well updated and clean. Beds are super comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.

This home was absolutely perfect! Great decor and amenities, just as described in the listing. If you need a place in the Walnut Creek area, this is the one to choose. William and Chris were great hosts. We plan to return.

Unbelievable view. Worth the price just for that. Can see the entire ocean from the bedroom and the hot tub. Place was well stocked with extras. Albina was extremely kind and attentive. Would stay again.

We’ve stayed at this property several times and always look forward to going back for a relaxing and fun trip. The location on the lagoon is perfect, with expansive outdoor space and plenty of kayaks and paddleboards to use, as well as an easy walk to the beach. The kids love the game room and mini golf green, when they need a break from the water. Comfortable & clean sleeping and hanging out areas and a well-stocked kitchen. Quick and friendly communication. It is clear that the owners care about the property and their guests. Can’t wait for the next visit!

Matt was a friendly host. We enjoyed having our breakfast on the sunny patio and our dog loved the secure fenced in yard. The weather was great but if we had to stay inside there was only one inside chair provided. The bed was comfortable and everything was tidy and clean. The walk to the beach was an easy one and the beach is beautiful! We found everything we needed in the house and kitchen. We would definitely say here again.

The property was perfect for our family of four. Our kids loved the game room. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Anna was very responsive whenever I needed to communicate with her. Would absolutely recommend staying here :)
