Holiday houses in Pleasant Valley

This house was amazing my friends & I really enjoyed my birthday. It was enough space for everyone and the heated pool and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed staying here. We would like to rent again and try it during the summer time.

The house is very nice, private, and newly constructed. It's a great location that's close to both ski resorts. Because it is in such an open area, the wind is strong and very loud at night, rattling the window, which makes it a bit difficult to sleep.

My wife and I needed a trip away from the city for the long holiday weekend where we could enjoy some good activity in peaceful surroundings with our dog. This cozy pedestal cabin in Black Bear Resort was just what we were looking for. Check in was easy by picking up the keys at the resort lodge. The place had everything we needed to a cook a couple nights for ourselves, including the gas grill on the deck. The wall-mounted 4K flatscreen TV with Roku let us relax after three active days out and about in Canaan Valley while we listened to the thunderstorms roll over the mountains each evening. This would certainly be a fine place for folks (especially with kids -- there were two sets of bunk beds in the loft) to use a base for their WV adventures any time of year!

This property is amazing! Our family found it to be the perfect getaway to play board games and watch the many deer pass through the woods. If you are looking for something quiet that feels like home, this is the place! We would definitely love to come back!

The location was perfect for nearby trail access and excellent food choices. The condo was immaculate and had everything you could need. Lots to do onsite as well if you have a rainy day.

I don't usually write reviews, but Woodhaven deserves a lot of praise. Beautiful house in beautiful setting. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Wendy texted several times to check on us (we had 12 inches of snow!) and the snowplows. We look forward to returning in the summer.

House was beautiful. We loved the big living room with plenty of seating. The kitchen was big with a big table and island. Hot tub was great for a big group with access thru multiple doors. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive Would definitely recommend this property!

Our family and one other spent the New Year's holiday weekend at Skier's View while skiing at nearby Timberline Resort with our kids. Colleen was extremely proactive in sharing all of the pertinent info and went above and beyond to detail every aspect of the home as well as the surrounding community. The rental was a great price and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view of Timberline, Canaan, and Whitegrass. We have stayed at many homes in the Valley and this was our favorite!
