This was our second visit to this wonderful property in Elie and we loved it just as much as the first. The view is mesmerising and the pictures don’t do the place justice. Great facilities - especially love the log burner. Fiona’s communication was excellent and we really appreciated the recommendation of the Bowhouse Christmas market. I can’t recommend this place enough - it’s well worth a visit! Thank you :)

Me and my Girlfriend had a beautiful stay at TOD. This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the standard has been set so high. From start to finish Ainslie was so incredibly helpful. The little touches made everything feel so welcoming and homey. The place was spotless when we arrived and Ainslie was amazing at explaining everything to us and walking us around the cottage. The cottage is so nice and cosy and we found really easy to find. We will 100% be returning again in future! Loved every minute off this weekend ! Xx

just got home after spending 4 relaxing nights at the log cabin. Beautiful location so peaceful and tranquil. Hazel left a lovely welcome package which was much appreciated! Hot tub was fab to relax in and lovely and private as was the Sauna. Bed was very comfy and plenty of space in the whole cottage. The shower was amazing so powerful. if you book to stay here you will not be disappointed will definitely go back again!

The Arches is such a beautiful place with amazing views. Very modern and luxurious. The decor and furniture are very high end and beautifully done. Spotlessly clean. Very private. If you are thinking about booking the Arches please do not hesitate as you will not regret it. Everything from the double shower, freestanding bath, sauna and hot tub this place has everything you need for a luxurious break away. Anna is a great host who is always available and answers any queries very quickly. I would love to spend a bit longer here So will definitely be back.

Perfect cottage for a quiet getaway! The space was exactly as it was advertised. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, all information clearly communicated before our stay. Couldn’t recommend enough if you’re looking for a relaxing couple of nights away!

4 adults, 5 kids (2 infants) stayed over new year. The house was ideal and we all had a lovely time. Supplied high chair and travel cot was a great help.

This home is beautiful inside and out with views to match. It had all that you would need for a family stay, with everything you would expect in your own home. Ali the host was great, and made booking, check in and out so easy. Perfect stay for visits to Edinburgh too with a drive or train ride only 40 minutes away. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

This was a fabulous stay, we stayed over new years and still had such attentive and fabulous service from the hosts. The surrounding views were lovely and it was very quiet - so a great place to chill! The hut was also absolutely immaculate when we arrived and super welcoming. We also did the Shetland pony experience, it was lovely and so fun and definitely worth the money - we both had a great time! Thank you again for a lovely new years!

Lovely stay at Kim’s place! Tayport was beautiful and the house was so cosy and sweet. We would have loved to be here in warmer weather as the garden looked gorgeous. This had everything we needed for our New Year’s stay.

We had a perfect two days staying at Caron’s place, it was so peaceful and such a beautiful setting. Caron was so helpful with any queries we had and sent recommendations, dinner at the Crusoe is a must!! We will definitely be back 😊

Such a lovely stay in Natalie’s flat. The flat was in great condition, it was such a relaxing place to stay, and Natalie made everything super easy for check in and out. Would highly highly recommend, we had such a great stay.

Beautiful bolt hole to relax and unwind. Very clever use of space. Lovely log burner and beautiful finishing touches.

The cottage is small and cosy and felt very homely. The village is small but has a great shop and pub and it’s not far to get to St Andrews if you are a golf fanatic or if you just want a walk along the beach. Definitely will want to rebook as it suited us well to be close to family but with our own space.

Just to say a massive thanks to Paulina. She left the place so welcoming cosy and inviting for when we arrived after our 8 hour car journey! She responded really quickly to our request to stay longer - The cottage was so lovely after the first night we wanted to extend our trip. Really kind and helpful host :) The house was spotless, cosy, had everything you would need for a relaxing stay and a lovely welcome basket of treats and a lovely note on our arrival was great. The beds are comfy and rooms are really spacious. The house is much bigger than we thought from the pictures. Feels spacious and minimal but very cosy. The grounds of the castle are stunning. We had two sunny frosty mornings and it was unbelievably beautiful. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Paulina and Elizabeth :)

My partner and I had the BEST time in Carnoustie and a lot of that had to do with Brian and Rona’s generous hospitality— they truly treated us like family. The cottage has lots of space and everything you could need. I also really appreciated the care put into decorating the space for Christmas. ❤️ The cottage is a short walk to the local pub, The Stag’s Head (thanks for the rec, Brian!) where as soon as we entered, we were greeted as new friends. The garden at the cottage is beautiful and peaceful for a morning coffee with plenty of sun. We hope to fit Carnoustie into future travel plans and would absolutely book with Brian and Rona again.

Spent 3 wonderful days here for New Year with my husband and 2 children. Absolutely beautiful cottage with everything we needed. We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our time and felt like we were in a little peaceful bubble. The cottage is very warm and the log fire just added that something special. The cottage is a quick 10 minute drive into St Andrews, which is perfect for things to do and places to eat and drink, along with supermarkets. We will absolutely be booking this little place again and we’re very sad to leave.

The garden cottage is beautiful - lovely spacious living area which is great for spending time together. The bedrooms are also large with nice touches and cushions etc. The rooms upstairs were particularly nice. Fabulous garden area and right in the town centre. The cottage had everything you could need as regards glasses, crockery etc. There was even an air fryer. One of the best equipped airbnbs we have stayed in. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was spacious, very cozy, and exceptionally clean. The house was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of clean towels, a variety of cookware for preparing meals, and even a selection of spices. A special thank you to the hosts for the lovely gift basket, it was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel truly welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

I stayed for 5 nights with my family, there were four of us. The cottage was a great base for us to explore around the area. It was lovely to be in the countryside and have visits from the chickens eat morning. The cottage had ample space for us all and had great views from the kitchen and lounge area. Nick was very accommodating and friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend staying there if you are coming to the St Andrew’s area.

Great little place, in a great location, out the way and no bother at all…

The cottage was even better in person than the photos. A welcoming, homely cottage, at the end of a private road. The living room was cosy and comfortable. Well thought out kitchen with lots of extras we weren't expecting, but a very welcome surprise- especially as we'd forgotten coffee and sugar. Whilst it may have been surplus from previous guests or indeed bought in, the basic store cupboard supplies were a great addition, and didn't feel like left overs. Likewise the bathroom supplies, and laundry facilities made our stay stressfree. Our 2 wee dogs enjoyed the freedom of the back garden, as did we. It was raining during our stay, but there was a lovely wee snug / shelter in the garden with a view of the Tay , plenty of other space to entertain in the garden too, especially in better weather. Couldn't fault our stay, or our hosts. Very thoughtful and stayed in touch with us, nothing was a problem. Alan and Val have created a real home from home. Would absolutely return.

Beautiful cottage - even better than the pictures. Took my parents to stay at Tracy’s cottage as a post-Christmas treat - it was wonderful. Incredible setting and views and all rooms super comfy and really thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Lots of lovely walks nearby and Tracy was super helpful and friendly. I look forward to staying again! 😊
