Holiday houses in Pierrepont Manor

Such a wonderful getaway for the family! Amanda’s beautiful house was right on the water, and everything was just as described in the listing. The house was spotless and Amanda was quick to reply to all inquiries. We loved the well-stocked kitchen and the amenities (fire pit, pool, kayaks, etc). As you might expect for a lakehouse, during our late August trip there were quite a few bugs to navigate anytime we ventured outside - though very few seemed to be of the bitey variety. This peaceful getaway was just what we needed!

It is a wonderful place and Kyle was always responsive with very good detailed instructions. The house was very clean and organized. Would like to stay again sometime in the future when we could enjoy the lake and some swimming.

This house was perfect for our reunion-style gathering. It is a quiet oasis and we were fortunate to experience it in peak winter (hot tub + snow = amazing!). There are tons of nooks to relax and it had more than enough bedrooms for our group of 7. We cooked a few meals and were impressed with the cookware and supplies available. All of our comms included quick responses and we opted to extend the checkout time (which included a fee) so that we had a bit more time in the morning. An excellent stay and would highly recommend. It's probably fantastic in the summer as well.

We had a fantastic stay at your home. Plenty of space for everyone and the back deck and yard were really great! Lots of comfortable and thoughtful seating areas and fun things for the kids to do. Great little touches made the stay extra comfortable like the herb garden and the awesome cooking fire pit. We loved the old charm of the interior and the kids got good use out of the piano. Ha!! It truly was a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The water was great and the kayaking were a fun activity. Thank you Tom and Annie!!

This little apartment was the perfect place for my mom and I to relax and have a lovely time in Sylvan Beach! Roomier than I expected from the pictures which was a great surprise (for some reason I imagined you had to walk through the one bedroom to get to the other- that’s not true at all! There is a separate hallway that connects the two and the one to the living room space). The location on the beach is just perfect, and a wonderful yard with multiple spaces/ uses. Chris was so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. A great host at a great place- we will definitely be looking to book again in the future!!! Only tiny downside is no full kitchen- but Chris provides a grill, toaster, microwave, and griddle. Besides, it’s vacation and there are great restaurants in town- who wants to cook on vacation anyways???

Judy was very communicative, easy check-in and everything was as expected. We didn't really have any hiccups apart from extreme winter weather which was out of anyone's control. Even then there was a number for a plow guy on the fridge who came in 20 mins when we were snowed in to the driveway. Stunning taxidermy. I wouldn't call the kitchen very well equipped as some have said here, but definitely better than other airbnb's I've been too. Overall a great spot.

This was a stay-cation for us, we actually live 7minutes away from the cabin but wanted something, different, secluded, and cabin like. It checked all the boxes. Unfortunately at the same time the snow storm of the century was also happening so we ran into some unforeseen issues that was out of anyone’s control I.e. leaks and such. The owners stayed in constant communication with us and the leaks were just a minor annoyance that didn’t affect our time there in any way. This home is beautiful, peaceful, and restful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there in spite of all the snow that fell. We highly recommend this stay to anyone.

The cottage was lovely, cozy but not over crowded with furniture. Plenty of room, fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Little exra of things that you might have forgotten. Not to far from town. Had a really nice time.

My daughters and I could live at this cabin and location. It is on our list of “absolutely again”! I have not felt this relaxed and peaceful in a very long time. It was absolutely serene and beautiful.
