Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Philipstown

You feel secluded and private - everything you need to stay in - but also minutes from Woodstock and great restaurants. Beautiful views! Very romantic vibes, especially in the winter. The host was super helpful with communication about the weather. We got lots of snow and ice while there, and they made sure the steep driveway was well plowed and sanded for our departure.

House was spotlessly and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and hot tub was absolutely phenomenal. Skylights let in beautiful natural light for reading and relaxing. Michael and Enrique were proactive about reaching out beforehand with the house information and we really, really enjoyed our stay. We're not used to baseboard heating so some of the noise from the heating surprised us, but that's to be expected with any place that's not your home. Would gladly stay here again.

The previous reviews were all positive so I wasn’t surprised by how pleasant this listing was and how Dinesh goes out of his way to accommodate guests. Everything was wonderful. Both nights we enjoyed the large fireplace in the large living room, right off the large kitchen. All the spaces are large here. Plenty of room to spread out with friends or family. We were all impressed.

Jane and Klay were great hosts and their home in Stone Ridge was beautiful and spacious with great amenities. We loved the fireplace and our dog loved the huge front and backyard with easy to access trails right from the property. The hosts were proactive with communication and gave really nice recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. We had a beautiful snowy weekend and would definitely love to come back. Thanks again!!

This was our second time staying here for a family getaway and it was better than we remembered. The hosts were so great, very responsive and helpful. It snowed a bunch while we were here and they made sure we had what we needed and a plow came to help us get out of the driveway. The fireplaces are such a cozy touch and our dog loves the big fenced yard. We will be returning again!

We had a great stay! The house is spacious and well laid out for multiple families going away together. Susanna was extremely responsive and helpful!

Was in the area to visit family and this was a perfect location for me. Had just what my family needed to have a great weekend

There were 5 of us, with another 6 staying in another nearby air bnb. We had Thanksgiving in our house and found everything we needed to cook. Seating was a bit challenging, but we made it work and it was very comfortable. The location is in the woods with lots of boulders and rocks, which we all loved. We found the place easily using GPS. Everyone’s bed was comfy. Close enough to what we wanted, just far enough away to make it an adventure. Because it was so cold and grey, we didn’t hike, but saw plenty of opportunities (maybe next time?!)

Spent the night in Kingston after going to a concert in Woodstock. The location was great (walkable to coffee and restaurants) and off-street parking was a plus. Carin provide clear check-in and check- out instructions and some great local recommendations. We hit up Rough Draft before leaving town for some excellent coffee and grabbed a new book.

Great stay at this loft apartment in Beacon. We visit the area several times a year and will look to return in the future. Graham is a great host who provided very simple instructions for check-in.

Ann Marie was incredible, and so was the space! It was clean, freshly stocked with anything we could possibly need, and Ann Marie was incredibly attentive and communcative. She left absolutely no stone unturned and was available if we needed anything at all - she even came out while I was cleaning snow off of my car to give me a better brush to make that easier as well. I've stayed at a number of Bnb's in the last few years and I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences I've ever had. If you're looking to stay in the Hudson Valley/Beacon area, I cannot recommend staying here enough, you won't regret it. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

This place is beautiful. The decor is lovely. I’d love to stay in the house to have more space. I will say that I overlooked one aspect when booking, which is totally my fault, that there was not a tv. The enclosed porch is so pretty, unfortunately it was too cold to use. Katherine pays attention to details—from linens to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Staying here felt like going back in time historically. The neighborhood is amazing, everything is walkable, you won’t regret staying here.

This is a beautiful spacious home on hill with a mountain range view. The host told us about a hike that started in the neighborhood and it led to a pond and creek, which our whole family loved. Then Kingston restaurants were a very short drive to enjoy. The host left little snacks which I thought was a nice touch and the kids enjoyed.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Ginger’s studio loft apartment on repeat occasion. It is my first choice when visiting Greenwich! It is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and highway; yet you feel like you are far from the hustle and bustle. Thoughtfully supplied coffee, tea, and snack items are available to make your arrival and first morning easy. I always travel with my personal toiletry items, but if you don’t the basics are all there. Thank you for another comfortable stay!

Candy & will’s place was excellent for a weekend getaway for me and my partner, very comfortable and felt like being at home. I left my watch and they went above and beyond to help me find it and keep it safe until i was able to return and get it. Thanks so much again for everything and loved the place will definitely return

Nicola’s place is one of our absolute favorites. The serene home reflects a kind and responsive host who communicates with great warmth. This is the second time we stayed there and would love to return.

My friends and I had an amazing time here!! The kitchen was incredible and we were able to make a multi course meal. The yard was beautiful, we felt safe and were able to unwind and hang out. The hosts were amazing and responsive, answering all of our questions and accommodating all of our needs. The house was clean and comfortable and I would happily stay here again :)

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

Absolutely beautiful home! Carl and Rebecca were wonderful hosts - they were super responsive and accommodating. And their home is lovely down to all the little details, from the soft bathrobes to the warm spaces to hang out in. We had a wonderful stay at their home and would love to come back!

Beautiful place

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful, spacious, comfortable home in New Paltz. We were nine family members, ages 6-75, who enjoyed four days here after our son’s wedding. It was the perfect place to decompress from a very exciting and magical wedding weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable with a number of areas to relax and enjoy- indoors and out. The pool was a lot of fun, and the house was well provisioned and nicely decorated. It was a rare treat to find a rental house that included basic supplies such as spices, pantry staples like flour and sugar, etc. Ken was an amazing host, very responsive if we had a question and provided a great list of local resources and recommendations that was very helpful. New Paltz is a fun town with a number of good restaurants and more to do in the area than we could manage in four days. Highlights included a day trip to Storm King (fabulous!) and another day to Hyde Park where we visited the Roosevelt homestead and Vanderbilt mansion.

Check in at this place was amazing. Instruction was perfect well written. Place was amazing love the view. Cleanliness was awesome. Didn’t have any complaints. Lovely surroundings and most of all. It’s very quiet lovely getaway. We’ll definitely book again. Thank you for having us.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay here! There was a snaffoo where the heat wasn’t working properly when we arrived and the host was so responsive to get it fixed ASAP and provided a discount without us even asking. It’s a gorgeous property with a lovely view. We will definitely be back!
