Holiday houses in Philiphaugh

Stayed here for a long weekend with family. We were very fortunate with the weather so went to Eyemouth a couple of times (15 min drive) and to Pease Bay (3.5 miles away), both worth a visit. If you're not as fortunate with the weather then everything you need is available at the Inn. Caroline was the perfect host, replying to any questions I had almost immediately. I hope to return again and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting this area.

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

The house was lovely and super comfortable. The Christmas tres and decorations were great. Easily accessible from Berwick-upon-Tweed and only a 10 minute drive o go back to town. Overall we had a great time. Thanks!

Lovely stay we had there as a family. It was lovely, clean and tidy. What can we say about the hot tub just wow the kids loved dunking in when ever they could. We did have an issue because one of the kids had messed with the buttons and we couldnt get it heated back up again so i messaged steve who quick at responding back and he came out and fixed the issue asap. Was all in all a lovely stay and thinking of booking back here again. Thank you so much for a wondefull stay😀

The place felt like home away from home… everything was perfect and intact, my family had a good time with no complain whatsoever. The Furnitures, utensils and amenities were perfectly fitted for our stay. The environment is calm and peaceful…

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HOME! This is probably the BEST place we have ever stayed in with Airbnb. The house we spotless and everything was so well provided for. They even had hot chocolate for kids and really good coffee options for adults, pasta, rice, so many canned food options and oats and what not. Fully stocked kitchen! For kids, they had lots of toys and books. The kids room was the highlight - they had really amazing books nicely laid out as well as a wonderful very clean kitchen set for kids to play with. It really felt like we have just walked right in our home. The playground was the cherry on top. Kids loved climbing and swinging. They even had bubble sets and outdoor playset for the kids and a BBQ set for those who wish to try their hand at BBQ. Can't recommend them enough. Our family of 8 had a great stay and we loved every minute of it. Wished we stayed longer here. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Edinburgh!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful and just as the pictures described. In fact the pictures don’t show how big and spacious the property actually was. We go on cabin holidays all the time and this one was one of the best by far. Little touches like kitchen scales, and sharp knives which meant I could cook and bake with my children with ease. Plenty tablets for the dishwasher, normally these places leave 1/2. Super dog friendly and infact when my dog ran off the first day the hosts were right over to say not to worry if it happens again they would help look for him (although he was firmly on the lead after this). Would love to come back in the summer or warmer weather and take advantage of the beautiful decking area. There was fantastic recommendations int he book and we managed a day out some where local every day. Highlighy recommend. Hot tub and sauna facilities were perfect for our little family and pups. Thanks for a great and well needed family break!

My family of 9 (7 adults, 2 children) visited from the United States. We were excited to explore in our first vacation to Scotland. We chose this location because it was almost perfectly in between Glasgow and Edinburgh, so we could have an extended stay at this Airbnb and visit both cities. The house is about 10-15 minutes from the nearest train station which will take you to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Or about a 45 minute drive to each city. There were also numerous grocery stores in about a 10 minute radius. The Airbnb itself was fantastic. It was clean, it was spacious, and it had everything we needed for such a big family, including plenty of fun activities for the kids. Each bedroom had its own bathroom inside of it too. James was great about communicating with me, he was very transparent about all the information and helped in every way he could. I absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone, but especially larger families. Thank you James for welcoming us!
