The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Marcel's cottage was perfect: clean, complete and equipped with every comfort. Marcel is a great host, always available and happy to help where needed. We had a very pleasant stay and would love to come back some time!

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

Wonderfull house. Supermarkets close by (5 minutes by car). Well equipped kitchen great living room and bedrooms. We used the sunny terrace a lot for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely rent the house again.

We stayed with Onno in April 2025 with my wife, son and parents. The house is really wonderful, has everything you need and is very nicely decorated. The location is great, with the bikes that are at the house, we are through the Bollenstreek and had a fantastic time.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

I spent some lovely days at Siennie's place with my dog. The check-in and check-out were uncomplicated, there is a parking space directly at the house. The place was clean and there was everything you need. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The highlight was of course the beach within walking distance. Unfortunately, you only learn on site that dogs are not allowed to go to bed on the sofa or with them. It would have been nice to get this information before booking. Other than that, everything else was perfect, and I felt very comfortable at the place.

Our stay with Mike & Patries will be forever memorable. They were both so kind and helpful, providing many local recommendations. Lovely people! The house is so beautifully decorated, cozy and warm. My children adored the animals on the farm including the horses, dogs, and chickens! We loved the area because really you can rent bikes and ride to many of the nearby towns. Our week here was just perfect and we can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely stay in Zaanse Schans at Tine's place. It was easy to find with her helpful instructions and even though not all the bikes worked right away, Tine fixed them all right then and there! Despite us not realizing check out was at 11am, she was super understanding when we left around 11:45am after one last bike ride to the windmills, which are 5 minutes away. Beautiful place, wonderful amenities and appliances, and comfortable beds!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

My friends and I had a very nice stay in Ak's apartment. Instructions via the app were very clear, communication was very nice anyway. And we were very well received in the apartment! The stay was super clean and everything you need is present. The location is top! Walking distance to parking garages, restaurants and shops. The only but is the noise at night from the church bells. Furthermore, really highly recommended!

We had a super relaxing stay at Annette's place again and felt at home. Our daughter (2 years) also felt very comfortable again and the slightly steeper staircase is no problem for us with a little attention. Annette is a fantastic host and lives right next door, so you can always help quickly with questions. We'll be back this year 😍

Countryside accommodation with its charm and spacious stay, countryside location, but highway accessible very quickly to get to Amsterdam located 25-30 minutes away. Parking space provided inside the courtyard. Great welcome, flexible check-in times and prompt response from the host by message. Advise without hesitation.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

What a fantastic place. There's a good chance we'll be back!

We had an amazing weekend in the pipowagen. Rustic farm vibes ♡, It was just what we needed to find some peace and quiet. Irma is so friendly, kind and thoughtful. From the welcome drink to the fairy lights and music in the hot tub, the cute decorations and the lovely glass house that we had breakfast in and caught some rays of sun. We saw beautiful birds from the window and were greeted by their sweet dog. We went on an outing to Den Helder (30min away) to the Navy museum and had a lovely fish dinner at Cafe Neptunus. On Sunday we visited the butterfly farm nearby. Lovely weekend, we will be back! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Superb stay very close to the Amsterdam city center. Very spacious, high quality and convenient. In particular we enjoyed the fire place (which was pre-arranged for us before our arrival), the fully equipped kitchen and of course the two very friendly cats.

I felt very comfortable in the beautifully decorated car. Also because it was something different. The welcome by Jose' was very friendly. I'd love to come back.

We were very lucky to be able to stay with Evelin spontaneously from Friday to Sunday. We liked the place very much. The children loved the daily view into the cowshed. Despite the cow stable, it didn't smell in the apartment. The surroundings are fantastic and you can get to know the country and people wonderfully.

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!

Magdalena was a great host. Apartment was as described and she was very sweet to drop us off breakfast treats. Will definitely be back!
