It was a great space for 1 or two people. Really enjoyed the layout and it was very quiet and private. Adele was very quick to respond and was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful unit, very clean and spacious. Loved the ceiling height and heated bathroom floor. Our party was there for a wedding at Whispering Springs which is about a 5-minute walk to the main parking lot.

I love Sue's place! Every time I am visiting the area, this is my first place to check for availability. Sue has a lovely apartment located right next to Lock 18, which can be enjoyed privately from the large deck or up close just a few steps away. Hastiings is a friendly town that is wonderful to walk around (both sides of the bridge), checking out the shops, having coffee from the local cafes, and in the evenings heading across the street to McGillicafey's Pub. Sue's place is quite, centrally located, and comfortable. I am already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Sue!!

Patti and Dennis were amazing ! There was a bad snow storm and they allowed us to stay an extra night, to hunker down through the storm to make sure we had everything we needed to stay comfortable and safe. So nice ! The suite was warm clean and had very comfortable beds. It was very quiet and peaceful. The view of stoney lake was beautiful. It was the perfect winter retreat/getaway . I highly recommend this Inn. Definitely a 5 star stay ! We are very happy and thankful to find this hidden gem 💎

We were in Port Hope for a wedding, Susan was very responsive and able to accommodate our arrival time so we could get changed out of our traveling clothes into wedding attire before the ceremony! Place is well stocked, beds are super comfortable, convenient parking, and great location.

Another amazing stay. My family and I were so happy we could stay at this location again and we loved it as much as we did the first time. Beautiful location, responsive and helpful hosts. Definitely a preferred location for all of us.

We had a great night at hidden retreat! David was so welcoming, friendly and easy to communicate with. The rooms were great and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed time around the pool, using the hot tub and sitting around the fire at night. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Our stay at this place was an absolutely incredible retreat! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The hosts went above and beyond to make our anniversary special, providing personalized recommendations for dinner spots and even helping us create a memorable late-night bonfire experience. The property was really clean and maintained well, with stunning lake views that took our breath away. As much as we wanted to use the canoes and kayaks, it was really cold and windy but they were available making it perfect for both winter and summer getaways. What truly made our stay exceptional was the hosts' hospitality. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring we felt right at home and had everything we needed. This was truly an unforgettable experience! We cannot recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to returning. A well-deserved 5-star rating for an incredible, peaceful escape from the city!

For our purposes, ( that Toni is aware of) we couldn't have found a nicer setup. You can walk to all local amenities, food, refreshments (😁) and a very nice Theatre that puts on live productions.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like cherished guests, not just visitors passing through. We appreciated the manual in English and French, with clear instructions, and plenty of little generous touches that made us feel right at home. This cozy guest house is delightful —thoughtfully stocked and so well-organized that finding anything in the kitchen was effortless. Everything was spotless, the bed was wonderfully snug, and the whole place wrapped us in warmth and comfort. We also took a scenic drive around the area, exploring Belleville and Brighton, which had so many interesting spots to visit. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but we’re already looking forward to our next visit to explore further! Highly recommend it—thank you again for a wonderful experience!

One of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at! The wood stove, the comfy beds, sipping my morning coffee while looking at the beautiful view. this has honestly been the most magically airbnb my wife and I have ever stayed in. I wish I could have all my family and friends experience what it's like here at the wind in the willows. There is nothing more anyone could ask for or want. This place is so much more than a airbnb, it's a magical private resort that teleports you to a place where dreams become reality!

Amelia and Fred’s place is a genuine ‘5-star’ apartment! There is nothing that the apartment needs - it’s new, clean, well furnished, modern. The location of the stay is in an establish neighborhood, near a super Walmart, fast food & casual restaurants, gym. Very easy to recommend for short or longer stays.

Amanda and her husband are delightful humans. My partner and I had a lovely stay from hot baths to watching hockey on the projector by the fire. Such a great location with all your needs near by. Breakfast-Walmart-yoga has it all. True blessing, being snowblown out while checking out during a snowstorm. Wonderful host, wonderful stay, wonderful time.
