Castle holiday rentals in Perth and Kinross

We could not have been more happy with our stay at the castle, hosts were great and the location gave us lots to see and do. If you love history, beautiful surroundings, great little towns and castles to explore you will not be disappointed. The accommodation was lovely, clean and had everything we needed for the stay. Walks along the little brook, hosts allowed a little walk around the castle walled garden. It's like stepping back in time - just wonderful and couldn't be happy, wished we stayed longer.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed at in all our airbnb rentals. We space was everything we could have asked for. It was comfortable, beds amazing, super clean, fully stocked and we left even with a loaf of bread, and butter which came in handy for breakfast because we did not stop to get groceries. It was centrally located so we could visit the many places in Scotland that were on our list. We would love to come back again when the grounds are complete, and we would not hesitate to re-book here. Loved it and wish we had more time.

The lodge was unbelievably beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like a dream and the host was great. Made sure we had what we needed for a peaceful and pleasant stay. Probably one of the best views we’ve had while enjoying our breakfast. Would absolutely recommend East Lodge and will have to come back

Gorgeous location. Flowers were already blooming in April. So lovely to come back from a day in the city and have a quiet, restful, private escape. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Such an amazing place. Beds super comfortable which is so important and often not the case with holiday rentals. Mimi was gorgeous and so welcoming. You must stay here. We will return.

What a treat. The bedrooms were grand but comfortable. The lounge full of deep chairs with reading matter and other entertainment for the rainy days.The kitchen was equipped enough to create your own banquet. Pictures on the walls were reminders of the history and characters of this Neo Georgian palace. Outside the parkland and gardens were ideal to wander around especially early morning and evening with the Pinetum and vegetable garden being highlights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hosts provided us with all relevant contact and access details plus a very welcome basket of local goodies. The staff at Scone Palace were a delight, very informative and welcoming. The cafe downstairs was also ideal was a quick coffee and snack. A good visit all round with added peacocks for decorative company.

What’s not to like - it’s a castle! The apartment is lovely, perfect for 2 couples with 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking at home. You do need a car to get to the neighbouring villages for provisions and/or for eating out. Overall this is a beautiful place to stay peaceful and private.

Had an incredible time! Not only was this stay better than the photos, but it was a steal for the cost! Soo enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty at Bamff, extensive wildness and species, and access to the Cairngorms and Highlands. Definitely recommend for a perfect cozy Scottish getaway!

We loved our stay in the castle! Super cute place and little town and appreciated being able to do a load of laundry in the “dungeon”! Nice bedding!

Had the most amazing stay at the castle last weekend, the locations, views, hospitality and interiors were beautiful. David was an amazing host and even gave us a castle tour the next day, his charismatic personality was wonderful and his knowledge of the history was superb. The Accomodation itself was beautiful and spacious. Each room was full of character and made us feel like royals. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Wonderful, unique venue. (You have the tower in the castle, which is extremely modern and comfortable. There are few other "apartments" in the castle, but it's not busy.)

We stayed one night at Menstrie Castle and wish we had booked longer. The apartment was squeaky clean and you can tell a lot of thought and effort has gone into making it what it is. A lovely card was left for us and a delicious Scottish treat also (I am now addicted!). I wish we had more time to explore the local area but would recommend visiting the Wallace Monument. Great views! We hope to be back in the future.

What a special place Balintore Castle is. I would say don’t expect high end luxury when you stay here, but I loved it. If only the walls could talk! The sound of the birds outside and getting glimpses of the deer trotting around the grounds was really special. After a brilliant and interesting tour by David, you can really see his love and passion for restoring this magnificent building. Sara and David were really responsive to our needs. Also - the beds were so comfy! Especially when we got the wood burners going in there.
