Beautiful place to stay

April’s home was absolutely perfect for what me and my partner needed. We wanted a serene spa like experience without having to go to a lot of places. We had everything we needed on our 4 day stay. There were great fresh markets on the way so we stopped for food and never had to leave out once we arrived. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. April and Tony’s welcome was warm and friendly as well as their dogs Maisa and Graco. We live on the Caribbean side and wanted to spend time in the serene mountains for a cooler and relaxing experience. This will be our get away place when we need to take a break.

We couldn’t have asked for a more scenic, peaceful, and welcoming paradise for our first week in Costa Rica! And as others have commented, the star of the stay was David! When David says “ask anything you want”, he means it! We had such a good time with him! We are birders and we’re amazed at seeing 58 different Bird species without leaving the property! Wild Mountain pigs, Coati, and 2 Tolomuko wandered through the property. And the views are even better than the photos! The cottage was spacious, extremely clean, and we were able to cook meals. There are so many details that David thought of and provided at the cottage. Lots of hangers, plastic bags, plastic containers, lovely handcream, ever utensil you could want was provided. Do not hesitate to stay here. This paradise will take your breath away!

What a beautiful spot in the Central Valley. The view from the house is incredible. It’s a quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance of interesting sites in the valley. Clean, simple and organized, we very much enjoyed our stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay, Dayana is a wonderful host, who always responded very quickly. We also did the walk to a river that Dayana suggested, which was absolutely amazing and not something we would have found ourself. Only downside is the noise from the road and the dogs barking. But we would still highly recommend staying here.

Nice furnishings and unique set up with kitchen and bathrooms separate from the dome but just literally step outside the dome door. The breakfast was fabulous and was in a traditional banana leaf with rice, bacon, eggs. This is as close to camping as I like to get. The windows are plastic so it's not entirely clear to see out but it's still unique. There are two domes on the property and next door is another house rental. It's along a gravel road with other residences and pretty quiet. Community cat a friendly guest who shows up just as the food is delivered. Use Waze to find it.

Brandon and his family have welcomed us very well since we arrived. The cabana is perfect to go as a couple and the mattresses are quite comfortable for sleeping. The location is very good, close to downtown Dota. I would definitely stay at Cabaña Koi again:)

Uncomplicated landlord and pleasant apartment for a short stay in Turrialba. Very comfortable beds. Everything very good and as described, with the only inconvenience of a very noisy dog next door.

This adorable little cabin was an amazing stay! It’s within walking distance of a nearby river, and you can hear the soothing sounds of the water all around. The backyard is incredible, offering jungle-esque vibes—perfect for those who love the feeling of being in the mountains and surrounded by nature. The hosts provide a great list of nearby restaurants, and their personal favorite was a fantastic recommendation! If you’re looking for an authentic sports bar experience, it’s the perfect spot to see how the locals passionately cheer for futebol. We only wish we had more time to stay and enjoy everything, especially since they also offer breakfast for those looking for a place that provides food. Highly recommend!
