The house is spacious and cozy and stands at the very beautiful and quiet corner of the lake. It is equipped very well too. We particularly enjoyed kayak and hot tab. Janice's responded to my message very quickly and gave us very clear instructions too. Highly recommended.

Myself and five friends had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Lake House. Mark was prompt with any queries and kindly let us check-in early after some of our group had travelled from far away. The house was as described and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen and appreciated the three spot-less bathrooms. The sun shone for us, so we were able to enjoy the wrap-around decked outdoor seating area and take advantage of the kayak and rowing boat. The attention to detail with the provision of sporting equipment and board games was fantastic! We enjoyed walks along the canal and to other easily accessible lakes and had a good choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. My friends all discussed returning in the future as a group and with our families. Thank you Mark for making our weekend.

A cottage of dreams! We absolutely loved our stay at Kings Cottage… the house was perfect - so beautifully done and well kitted out. Stunning garden for the children to play in and the most gorgeous picture perfect setting in Kingston Deverill. Gemma was incredibly helpful and gave us great tips on what to do and where to go in the area. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to return again soon! A big thank you…

Hannah’s place is wonderful and Hannah is a great host! She had been super helpful with recommendations and very flexible on check in. The house is lovely with great views and beautiful surroundings. The kids enjoyed the playground and all the amenities within the development. We hope to be back over the summer.

We really enjoyed our few days at the coachhouse, which was comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Andrew had to be away when we arrived but was immediately responsive when we had trouble knowing where to go. We felt welcomed on arrival by his note and provisions, and really appreciated the local recommendations sent to us in advance.

We only stayed one night as it was a stop off on our way to Cornwall but we were so gutted we didn’t book for longer. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The park was perfect for our two children. The views were amazing. We had everything we needed for our stay and appreciated the basics that were provided such as tea and coffee. The hot tub was lovely and warm and we were able to see the stars well in the evening. We requested a high chair which was ready on arrival and check in instructions were clear. We would definitely consider returning for a longer stay next time. Thank you so much :)

Superior 3 bedroom lakeside Lodge with everything you could wish for. Everything was fantastic plus gorgeous weather which enhanced our experience. A peaceful and beautiful accommodation to stay in and loveky outside balcony overlooking a lovely small lake with all sorts of wildlife. Thoroughly enjoyed. X

Such a beautiful place to stay...the views are stunning as is the sunrise every morning...so memorable. Maggie was an exemplary host from booking to check-out and during my 5 week stay made sure that I was comfortable and checked-in with me without being intrusive. It's perfectly situated to explore the area and has wonderful walks from the front door. The home is very clean, comfortable and has everything needed for a long stay. Thankyou, Maggie!

Also the audio nerd in me was incredibly impressed with the ‘Naim MuSo’ wireless speaker system - a superb extra to find!

We had a lovely short stay at Apple Tree Cottage when visiting Chippenham to attend a friend’s baby shower. Faye was there to greet us on arrival, was always nearby if we needed anything and very friendly. She was flexible with our arrival time. The cottage has private off-road parking with plenty of space, we had 2 cars in our group so that was handy. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy but also spacious with beautiful period features. The master bedroom could easily fit a cot at the bottom of the bed. The cottage is by a fairly busy road, but didn’t feel like it with a private entrance and garden to the rear and a gate to close off the driveway. We would stay again when visiting Chippenham in future.

Stunning location! I visited here with my husband and two young children and it was perfect for a little family getaway. The weather was definitely on our side too! The perfect location to enjoy some peace and tranquility in the countryside. The house also benefits from being right on the lake with a private jetty where you can use all the kayaks and paddle-boards provided. In the surrounding areas there are some beautiful walks where you can explore the nearby areas. The local village in South Cerney is within walking distance which has some convenience stores. It is also very close to drive to some bigger supermarkets for anything else needed. Inside the house, everything is pristine and decor is to a very high standard. The kitchen and dining area was a great open space with room for all of us to be in without feeling cramped. We found a lovely welcome basket included by the hosts and there are all the amenities you would need in the kitchen. The layout of the house was perfect and the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was great, even for a group of girls! Overall we had a fabulous trip and the hosts were always on hand to provide recommendations.

This was our second time staying in one of Linda's properties, and our fourth time at Lower Mill Estate. We love the estate, so peaceful but with lots to do. Ewen House is a perfect location for the Mill Village pool, playground and activity hub, and only a few mins walk from the indoor pool and restaurant. The house was great with lots of space and everything we needed. Amazing welcome basket of goodies too.

We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

We had a relaxing couple of nights at Jehu Tait's lovely apartment in Woolston. The location was very quiet and relaxing, with amenities within walking distance, and the apartment itself was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Jehu was friendly, responsive and prompt with communication and answering questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The Bullpen was a great location for a weekend away with a friend and our children. Beautifully decorated with luxurious touches and very comfortable. The kitchen was well provisioned, we cooked a meal and enjoyed a movie night on the huge comfy sofa with big TV screen. The weather was wild but we managed a walk up to the White Horse (drove from our accomodation).

We have just returned from Caroline’s beautiful cottage. It was everything we wished for and more. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage was exceptionally clean. The surrounding area was very quaint and pretty and there was lots to explore in the area and a bit beyond. We spent NYE at Durdle Door, an hours drive away but well worth it. Would highly recommend Caroline’s cottage and our dog loved it too.

The Avon lodge was the perfect retreat for a relaxing couple of days in the countryside. The house was beautiful, cosy, and spotless and we will definitely be returning. A bonus was our lovely host Carole, bringing us fresh pastries for breakfast in the morning which were delicious!
