5* all round - the photos don’t do the place justice! It was so homely and cosy and has everything you need for a break away. John couldn’t have been more accommodating, very last minute we asked if we could do a farm tour and he got back to us so quickly to arrange a tour (during the festive holidays!) which was so lovely and really made our trip. Would definitely recommend!

We are glad we chose Marks piece of quiet paradise for our short break. The cabin was modern and spacious with all amenities. Full kitchen, great shower, lounge overlooking the lake, comfy beds. The location was perfect on the shore of the lake was gorgeous. We made use of the leisure centre pool an jacuzzi and we used the bus stop to get to Lancaster (bus also goes to Kendall and Windermere). We also went hiking in the Lake District with big hikes just 60 minutes drive away. A great host!

We stay every year, lovely cottage perfect for families. No pub or restaurant nearby but plenty within a 20 min drive, worth it for the location. Definitely a place for you if you are after a good walk in beautiful countryside. Lots of stuff in the kitchen for all cooking needs. Very clean and warm. Washing machine and freezer available to use. Lovely fireplace.

Lovely, comfortable property within walking distance of the centre of Skipton. Very accommodating - especially when we were stuck in the snow! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Luan is hands down the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, she made our weekend spectacular with thoughtful gifts that instantly made us feel welcome. The house was beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and we especially loved the games and the hot tub—it made our girls’ weekend so much fun and extra relaxing. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations; this was truly more than a 5-star experience. We’re already planning to come back because we didn’t want to leave! Louise is a fantastic host. Friendly and welcoming and left biscuits, crisps and a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome treat. This is in a stunning location made even more beautiful with the snow. Quiet and peaceful Looking forward to being able to visit in sunny weather then we can make use of the outside space. Everything was perfect. Clean, warm, cosy, well equipped Great weekend unwinding. Me and my partner stayed for new year and we was so happy it was a beautiful location , perfect for a couple wanting a night away 100% recommend!

A cosy cottage with everything needed for a wonderful stay in Meltham! We stayed whilst visiting friends nearby and it was the loveliest home from home. The cottage is cosy, quiet and spotlessly clean. We worked from there for a couple of days and the WiFi worked perfectly for us, we also took our dog and he loved it, a nice secure garden and even had spare dog bowls if needed. Plenty of blankets provided in the spacious living room, made even more cosy with the burner! A really well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds, we slept very well during our stay, helped by the blackout curtains too. The location is also great, around the corner from a supermarket, a lovely bar (the Fourth Fiend) and plenty of nice restaurants/take aways nearby, we loved the Pink Elephant! There’s also plenty of pretty walks nearby, we particularly liked the short walk to Folly Dolly falls on our lunch breaks and explored more of the Peak District too! We’ll return without hesitation on our next visit!
