Why travel all the way to Santorini when you can enjoy a spectacular view of ocean and landscape from Despoina’s Blue Horizon Suites? I first took my wife to Greece on our honeymoon and we have been coming back with the family every summer ever since. This year we stayed at Blue Horizon and it really felt like we were living in a post card. We fell in love with the place and had to extend our stay. The hotel is perched on a mountain side with unobstructed views of the ocean and mountain backdrop. The hotel pool has an infinity feel with the ocean. You will become enchanted with the view of the sunrise or moonlight from you private balcony and private garden. Despoina and Demetri are such loving hosts that are very helpful and you will experience the Greek “filoxenia”. Despoina will amaze you with her enthusiasm and breakfast treats. The property is sprinkled with meticulously nurtured tropical trees and plants which make it stand out like a diamond in the rugged mountain terrain. The rooms and property are sparkling clean and they clean rooms every day. It’s a short trip (maybe 2 1/2 hours) south from Athens and a short distance (a few kilometers) in between Paralio Astros and Xiropigado. We will be back next summer. Enjoy!!

We loved our stay here. Monemvasia is incredibly beautiful and this apartment is right in the middle of it. We went in November which was really nice since it was less busy. Highly recommend.

Great hotel in one of the oldest inhabited fortified towns in all of Europe. You feel as if you are living in the past during your stay due to most of the buildings in Monemvasia being the very same ones that were inhabited during the Byzantine era. The place was beautifully decorated and very cozy. A note: to get to the rooms, you have to walk up and down a lot of cobblestone stairs and walkways. I do not recommend bringing a lot of luggage for this reason. All in all, a lovely stay in a beautiful little ancient fortress

Elegant. Great balcony with great view . Clean. Nice pool and jacuzzi. The hospitality was more than good! Everything was nice and the view over the sea was so so relaxing! I recommend it for couples who are looking for a peaceful and cosy place to relax!

Villa Vager is a hidden treasure. The villa is at the perfect location to make daytrips. The staff off the villa is helpful to give directions and is also able to organise for you. (quad riding/rafting) The villa itself is due to the fantastic interior design a delight to stay in. The combination of the house, the personal tough and the fantastic homemade breakfast gave our family a perfect experience.

Beautiful accommodation in the old town of Monemvasia. Place was even nicer than the photos and was very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend
