House holiday rentals in Palo Pinto County

This home is beautiful. Hugh kitchen that we used to make dinner one night. Although we brought our own pots and and cooking utensils, there were plenty there. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was great as we had four couples. The couple's bedrooms aren't large, but they are big enough to be comfortable. The fifth bedroom has four king beds which would be great if you have young couples with children. My brother got there first and the door code didn't work, but Gary was immediately responsive when my brother called him and got him in. The lake and area are beautiful, but there isn't much in the immediate area as far as stores or restaurants, so plan accordingly. Great job Gary.

We had an incredible stay at Melissa's beautiful home this past weekend! We were in town for a cookoff and needed a place to prep, sleep, and relax, and this home was absolutely perfect. The house itself is stunning, and the outdoor amenities were amazing. Starting the day with a cup of coffee while looking out over the lake was such a peaceful and energizing way to begin our mornings. The spacious kitchen was a game-changer for our meal prep for the competition, and the ocean-themed decor throughout the home added a charming and relaxing touch. The bedrooms were comfortable and provided us with the restful sleep we needed for our busy weekend. Melissa was a fantastic host, and her attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to returning next year! Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

This is a great place for a group of friends for the weekend! The pool, covered patio, & outdoor kitchen was a hit for my group. Very accessible and clean, James was a wonderful host and we look forward to coming back to the Possum Kingdom area the future!

The house exceeded our expectations. The photos looked perfect, but nothing can capture how amazing the views of the lake are from the house. We were so excited to see how close we actually were to the marina too. We will definitely be booking this home again in the future!

Place was an older home but very comfortable. The A/C worked fantastic and was cool upon arrival. Very friendly neighbors. One thing that would make this place better would be a boat dock which we knew didn’t have one but the pool was worth it. Very responsive with messages especially since we booked last minute. Beds were comfortable and plenty of sitting room inside the house and screened in porch. We enjoyed the grills for outside cooking. Very large refrigerator and freezer for cooking meals. The kitchen was not 100 percent but nothing bad. I think the problem are guest not treating the place with respect and making sure they clean up after themselves. We had a great time and will book again!

The beautiful home was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. Our host was very courteous and accommodating to our needs. The neighborhood is quiet and within 5-10min from restaurants, convenient stores, fuel. The AC worked great and we slept well in our comfy beds. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, I would recommend this home for sure!

This place was amazing. He had everything you need for a great stay. I love the fact that he had all the necessary things you would need to make your animals comfortable. Also, a nicely stocked kitchen.

This place was PERFECT for our family vacation with 9 people. The house was fully equipped and so helpful with items you may have forgotten. Washer & Dryer was super helpful and they also provided detergent… Much appreciated!! Absolutely Loved the back porch and private dock!! Guys were able to catch multiple fish and had a blast, while us girls enjoyed the area for floating during the day.

Honestly, this location was better than the photos even showed. When we walked into the the house, we were amazed by the view out the back into the entire lake. It really had some incredible views and was such a cool spot. Very spacious for the amount of people we were housing and each person and couple was able to have their own room and nice personal bathroom. The drive up there was cool as well. It's amazing you can stay at a place like this just an hour away from the D/FW area! Ashley was also extremely responsive clear and helpful in all her instructions. We had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Would love to come back at some point! Thank you again!!!

We booked last minute but this place could not have been more perfect. It’s a beautiful property in a great location. Communication with the owner was always efficient and informative.

Bad: -black wooden dining chairs are not sturdy enough for adults and several were broken -shuffle board table had no extra sand or salt -email from AirBnB said to contact her with a certain phone number but host wanted to be contacted through the app per AirBnB policy - however, I don’t have that app and wasn’t shown any policy by AirBnB -total price was nowhere close to original listing; spent way more than was advertised -lotsa ants and ant hills in back yard Good: -easy check in & check out -game room was a huge hit -easy to find; numbers on mailbox easy to read -deer! -lotsa room

Beautiful place on the water! The large dock, lily pad, and kayaks kept my children entertained! The backyard was very peaceful. Something that may not be mentioned in the description (or I could have just overlooked it before booking) is that the third bedroom and bath are detached, but it worked out for us. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Great place for a large number like us. Lots of beds and very comfortable. Would certainly recommend for teams playing at Rocker B like we did.

Cant speak highly enough of our stay here. The house was immaculate and the ranch its self is unbelievable. The stargazing at night was worth it alone, not to mention the great sunsets and sunrises. We had 2 families total with kids ages 1 to 7 and there was plenty of space and plenty for them to do and plenty for the adults to do at night.

Dragonfly was the perfect place for us and our two dogs! Huge yard, beautiful views, extremely clean and comfortable home with everything we needed for our extended stay. Chris and Jamie are super friendly and promptly answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

We had so much fun here! It was a very relaxing, fishing, grilling and chilling weekend with friends! Super clean and perfect house for a vacay! Comfy beds, roomy open living area and kitchen. The home was well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The air unfortunately went out and Darsi went above and beyond to make sure the house was cool enough with AC units. She even added a pack n play and a high chair when she saw I had an infant. Will be going back next year for our annual cousin party at lake PK!
