Villa holiday rentals in Palm Cove

A lot of AirBnB’s don’t quite live up to the photographs, but this one is even better than it looks. It is by far our favourite, and our second time in a Cozie Home. Thomas is an excellent host who is always responsive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing home away from home!

The Cove House is a lovely, very well appointed house. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We especially liked the fact that we were so close to Palm Cove, it’s great restaurants and beach. The grandchildren loved the pool, which was always refreshing and stayed amazingly clean. We would love to book this house again!

Easily the best house in the street. We had torrential rain all week and the house kept us cool dry and comfortable. A big home with all the modern comforts and everything was easy to find or use. Would definitely visit again!

Ty’s place was a comfortable and clean stay, it felt just like home. Communicating with Ty was easy and smooth, making our stay so much more relieving and relaxing. The place was truly stunning and was a wonderful visit. My family and I loved the house and will definitely come back!

As pictured, lovely house - private, clean and secure. Good location, short 5min drive or 20min walk to main esplanade. Great air conditioning throughout to escape FNQ heat! All kitchen essentials are provided, games etc for kids, super comfy beds. Pool was a winner - would recommend.

Our holiday had a rocky start at another location and Thomas was amazing at helping to fix that with a fast check-in and quick responses - a bonus when travelling on my own with three children. The house was fantastic, with lots of space, well stocked kitchen (sharp knives!), the outdoor area was spacious and pool was such a hit with the kids. BBQ was clean and easy to use. The communication with Thomas and his team was really good. Would highly recommend this house. It is a little way away from restaurants, shops, supermarket etc, but if you are looking for a good base and don’t mind a short drive to get to things -it’s perfect

We had a fantastic 6-night stay at The Indah in Port Douglas over Christmas, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The house’s tropical Balinese design created a serene and luxurious atmosphere, and the layout—with each bedroom featuring its own ensuite—offered perfect privacy and convenience for our family of five, including my husband, our seven-year-old daughter, and my parents. The beautiful atrium with a pond added a unique charm, and our daughter absolutely loved spending time in the saltwater pool. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen made preparing Christmas meals a breeze, and we appreciated not needing to purchase any additional equipment. The entertainment setup, including access to all our favorite streaming services, and reliable WiFi ensured we felt at home. The location was excellent—just a short drive to local shops, the Wildlife Habitat (a highlight of our trip), and the Main Street with its restaurants and attractions. Overall fantastic!

We had a very comfortable stay, everything we needed on hand. Jessica and her team were easy to contact, though little need to do so. Beds comfortable, outdoor area great. Our party included a busy toddler and slightly older sibling, lots of outdoor space for them and a few toys on hand. Would book again.

Fantastic place and location to stay as a family. We loved it!

Awesome host, made sure we had everything needed in preparation for the cyclone and subsequent flooding. Communication prior and during our stay was very good. The home was an awesome choice for our large family with plenty of space for everyone. Once all the rain had past the children had a ball playing tennis and creating games outside in the well kept grounds (the care taker was out immediately cleaning up the property etc). Highly recommend this property

Iluka Beach Villa was just perfect for our family of eight. Each bedroom is ensuite providing privacy for our grown up kids. The villa had a great kitchen set up, very comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor area with a bbq, it’s within walking distance to the shops and to the beach, would definitely recommend and would stay again.

John’s place was the perfect home for our family holiday. We all meet from interstate and this property was everything we could’ve hoped for. Plenty of space, with each bedroom having their own ensuite. The pool was definitely a favourite for everyone and such a beautiful space. We would definitely recommend this house for anyone’s trip to Port Douglas as it’s about a 10 min drive out of the Main Street and it is super private and a quiet area. It was a very clean house, John was very responsive and helpful when needed.

Debbie’s place was perfect for our family holiday. The villa was spotless, beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The resorts gardens were gorgeous and our adult boys loved the $15 burger and beer lunch special the restaurant offered! Thanks Debbie for a lovely relaxing holiday, we’d love to return again in the future

Great place. Close enough to the Esplanade so you can walk down there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Beautiful surroundings and beautiful place. Fully equipped kitchen so you can cook up a storm. Really unique place, you feel like you are in the Rain Forest. Super friendly and accommodating host's.

Had a great stay! Would definitely book again

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Marco and Daniela's home. Their home is absolutely stunning, and they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome during my solo trip to Cairns. Their hospitality was outstanding, providing me with excellent recommendations for dining and activities in the area. I can confidently say this was one of the most beautiful Airbnb homes I've had the pleasure of staying in. I would not hesitate to return for another visit and will wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone I know. A 100% positive experience!

We loved staying at Wayne’s place! The kids absolutely loved the pool, especially lit up at night. We also loved that the pool was shaded early in the morning and from mid afternoon. It does get a bit slippery on the tiles around the pool though. The house is very cool, calm and comfortable for a family of five, with an excellent kitchen, and two sizable bathrooms. Despite being on the main road in to Palm Cove it is exceptionally quiet. It’s only a short walk down to the Palm Cove beach and restaurants, and five minutes’ drive to the supermarket at Clifton Beach. It’s a great base for day trips to Kuranda or Hartley’s, and being only half an hour from Cairns it’s easy to pop in to town for dinner and an evening splash in the lagoon. We didn’t find much to do for our family in Palm Cove itself, but that wasn’t a problem as we had a hire car and were happy to explore up and down the coast and into the hills. Wayne is a fantastic host, thanks for having us!

This was an amazing place to stay! It was huge with four big bedrooms surrounding a gorgeous pool in the middle. The living room was huge. There was a nice side sitting area and everything was fantastic. The location is 10 to 15 minutes away from all the things we wanted to go to, other than about a half hour drive to downtown Cairns. It was fun to take out a couple cute crabs after a big rain who got in the pool at one point (FYI the net is in the back next to the shed house). The only problems we had were that the washing machine broke down on Australia Day so we had to wait another day for the host to fix it, which they did right away, so that was good. And then one of the air conditioners leaked onto one of the beds, but we were leaving the next day so that person just switched to a different room and the owner was ready to come fix it right away as well. So, excellent hosts and an amazing place. Highly recommended!

Really nice place to chill out and relax at. Quiet neighbourhood with pretty much no traffic or people passing by. Huge kitchen is you want save a few dollars eating out all the time. We had breakfast there each morning and had a few BBQ's by the pool at night. Tonnes of fridge space for drinks and food as well. Kitchen had everything you could need with utensils and equipment. Bedrooms were great. Each one is airconditioned and was very welcome after spending a day out in the sunny tropical weather. Everyone in our family slept very well. You will need a car though. There is a biggish shopping centre at Smithfield for groceries, but nothing within walking distance really. There is a restuarant down near the boat harbour which is within walking distance, and we went to once and was okay, but we went down to Trinity beach several times and there are some great places down there. All in all, really enjoyed the stay. Really didn't want to leave when the time came to go. Great pool.

John is a great host, always responsive. The place is far better than shown on the listing pictures and well worth the money. Everything was available what we needed. Pool was a great bonus, both kids and us enjoyed a lot when we had the time in the great little pool. Overall we had a great stay in John's place.
