Beachfront holiday rental in Palermo

This beautiful house is a rare find, feels like you're staying at the Encanto house! Peaceful and within walking distance of the beach and great restaurants. Our lovely host Rossella was very helpful and welcoming, providing local wine and breakfast and offering great recommendations for places to visit including introducing us to a local legend captain Tano who took us out to sea for a day. The house is equipped with everything you need and made us feel right at home. It's even more beautiful than the photos and learning the history of it made it even more special (it was designed by the architect of Teatro Massimo). We had a fantastic time and highly recommended it.

The place was really great! Only in the small bedroom it was just too stuffy because there was no air conditioning there, and opening the window would have been too loud at night. But otherwise a very nice, spacious place, equipped with everything you need. The 2 terraces were also great! As for the resort itself (Aspra), it must be said that it is unfortunately difficult to get around without a car (but there is a free shuttle a few times a day) and there is little to do there. The beach is very close to the property. It's not particularly nice, but it serves its purpose. I would recommend many day trips, otherwise it is a good place for a detox! :)

We (couple and 1 child) had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Balestrate, Sicily! The property is really cool – the house is spacious and the large garden was a real highlight; it’s the perfect place to relax, with plenty of seating areas and gorgeous landscaping. The pool was fantastic – clean and just the right size for a refreshing dip on hot days. Nino was very welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hi Luisa. Thank you for the stay. Lovely to meet Father Dino, Maggie, and Schallaci grocer! I second a reviewer, Luisa's home one of the best on Air BnB! Home is tucked away, just behind piazza. Comfortable, amenities simple, books to read and wondeful terrace patio. Great shower! Stayed for December and weather was beautiful. Walking to piazza and churches and movie theater! Taking the 806 bus easy ride into Palermo center, and from there walking the city. Convenient to train to airport and Cefalu. 🤗

Maria was really communicative and came to meet us at the house, where,we swapped numbers in case either of us needed to reach the other. The house was clean and tidy, with just a few steps down to the beach. We had our own private terrace and use of the shared terrace, just a couple of steps down. The house,was just a short walk to the village, where there are a few restaurants and just another 5 minutes to Porticello where there are more restaurants. It's very quiet there, so if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. All in all, a lovely 8 days at Maria's house and thanks for being a great host!

Bendetto and his family showed us real Sicilian hospitality! Amazing host and very helpful . The place is located in walking distance to the beach. The apartment is very spacious and everything needed is provided. We had a great time !

Marilu was absolutely incredible!! She was so responsive and quickly cleaned the place from the people who had stayed there the previous night so that we sound check in early. Not only that, but she let us store our bags there before we could check in officially, and she showed us how everything in the apartment worked! One of the kindest Airbnb hosts I have ever had.

We (family with 2 children 1.5 and 3.5) felt right at home. Zaira has really thought of everything. From the stroller, cot and drinking water in the fridge, everything is available. When we had a power outage, she responded within 1 minute and showed us the solution and we had light again immediately. The house, garden and pool were very clean and we could even bathe in the heated water. The kids had extremely fun and didn't want to leave. To explore the area you need a car and you can be in Palermo in about 30 minutes and at the airport in 10 minutes. Grazie di tutto Zaira e arrivederci!

We had a great time at Antonio's villa. Everything was perfect and as described. The view from the villa is beautiful! Antonio was very kind and accommodating and offered us a solution when the hot tub was broken. Daniele, who manages the property, is also very kind and responsive. He was the one who picked us up and dropped us back at the airport. The car hire offered is a real plus to discover this beautiful area. We highly recommend this place and would be very happy to stay again.

We had an amazing time at the villa. Everything was as described and the hosts were absolutely lovely. Very quick response and flexible approach to checkout which ensured we had the best time ever there. Will definitely be returning!!

Francesco and his wife were adorable, very welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is located in a perfect location on the beautiful Mondello beach. Everything is accessible on foot or by bus, with Palermo 15 minutes away. Francesco and his wife gave us a guided tour of the city. We warmly recommend this listing!

Our stay at Lilli's house was just perfect....Lilli organized everything well...Directions... reception by Giovanni ....small provisions....communication also great with her....responds immediately....the house is a small gem and the garden with the many exotic trees, the view of the mountains, the great pool, the tranquility, just wonderful. Giovanni is the good soul of the estate and always has a tip in stock...the surroundings are great, especially we liked the ornate Parrini. Thanks Lilli for the super hospitality! We had a wonderful time, and loved your pool. Hope to come back sometime....

We had the best time here - Maurilio was so accommodating + friendly. He gave us great recommendations. About a 20minute walk to mondello beach, and about 20minutes in a taxi to Palermo centre - really easy to navigate. Villa was gorgeous - outdoor area was amazing with big pool, outdoor kitchen + dining area. Comfy beds, great shower! would recommend the villa to anyone. Thank you so much Maurilio!!

We spent 5 pleasant days at Fabrizio and Lavinia's Villa. Communications were always accurate and timely. The property is reminiscent of a small Hollywood villa transplanted to Sicily. Designed and tastefully furnished, the villa and especially its swimming pool allow you to enjoy a relaxing stay in privacy. The two hosts live in the basement and are often away during the day for work. The villa coexists physiologically with the small fauna of the Sicilian countryside, for example with the cute geckos that come in the evening to snoop around. Recommended for those who want to relax in a large, clean, quiet environment, surrounded by nature that can even be sumptuous in some of its details.

Perfect stay! The accommodation is amazing, and the views from the pool are unreal. Paola and Angelo are very welcoming and friendly. We will certainly miss the morning sweet treats that were left for us! The apartment is walking distance to Mondello bay where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We had a hire car and there was space to park this at the property. Our only complaint - that we didn’t stay longer!

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We all absolutely loved Valeria’s home from the beginning. She is so warm and welcoming. Not overbearing and very helpful. We felt like we were staying with a caring family member. The home is expansive and has a terrific worldliness to it. From the balcony you can watch the world go by and then so easily engage with it. The most beautiful beach across the road. A fantastic gastronomical super deli within a 4 minute walk and a number of good quality restaurants nearby. The people of Mondello are wonderful and I would highly recommend this abode as a base for exploring Palermo and surrounds. We alternated between beach days and exploring days which suited the family perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thanks so much Valeria and Papa.

We spent 10 days in Villa Namali and enjoyed it very much. Communication with Marco is great and he has great tips for the area. The house is not far from a beautiful sandy beach, so you can just jump into the sea in the morning before breakfast. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped, simple dishes can be cooked superbly and a grill is also available. We would come back!

Excellent hosts, amazing pool and overall a fantastic experience. The living room is much bigger than it looks in the pics. Would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of Sicilian paradise look no further than Angelo and Marilù’s place. Angelo was so friendly and helpful and even kind enough to share some photography that he did whilst we were visiting. Both hosts are super respectful of your privacy during your stay but this isn’t an issue at all as they were a total joy to be around. The accommodation was equipped with everything we could need with very comfortable memory foam beds, fresh towels, coffee and even a cool bottle of white wine on arrival. Views from the terrace are breathtaking and, as recommended by Angelo, we woke up early to see the sunrise which was truly spectacular. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish and we can’t wait to come back again.

We had a great week. I recommend 100%. The house is exactly as described. A quiet place and close to everything at the same time, to visit Palermo or enjoy the surrounding nature. Thanks to Alessandro and his friend Mimmo for his hospitality.

This is such a gorgeous little harbour. The apartment was perfectly placed for popping down to the beach for a swim. Giovanni the taxi chap was so helpful and took me to his local shop so I could stock up on water and groceries. The fantastic La Strummula restaurant is a hop skip and a jump away. Michelin star food without the normal exorbitant prices. Lovely well appointed flat with an outstanding terrace. What a find.

Fantastic location, opposite the beach and with good local restaurants and services very close by. Great house for larger parties and with really nice outdoor space (garden area, balcony and roof terrace). Would stay again!
