The break from the Phoenix heat was like paradise. Cool breezes, wind through the trees and utter silence. No better place to relax and enjoy the wildlife and thunderstorms and rain. Anna was the best. She took excellent care of us and the home is very comfortable.

We are always looking for someplace that is literally in the middle of nowhere. This would be the place that was exactly what we were looking for. About 30 minutes outside of Payson down a windy Mountain Road and then 3 miles of dirt road. After that, you come upon this beautiful cabin on the water. There are some neighbors that I do believe they are probably vacation homes as we only saw two people the entire time we were there, and they were across the other side of the water. Like he states this is an old cabin, but I think that helps with the charm of being in a secluded location. As others have stated yes the driveway is steep but nothing that’s not manageable. Brian was very communicative and even helped with some local antique stores to visit . He even has adorable vintage and antique touches all over the house. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and had another wonderful visit! The house is very clean and comfortable, with nice perks like complimentary s'mores fixings, popcorn, and hot chocolate. Sitting in the hot tub on the deck is so relaxing. The house is peacefully situated with nice forest surroundings and views. And check-in was flexible to get us early check-in. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and very cozy! The outside spaces are amazing and perfect to hang out and relax. The night skies were beautiful for stargazing. We also took a peaceful walk to the park nearby and enjoyed the scenery. Overall, great stay and great location!

This stay at Lori's beautiful home was as wonderful as always. It was so nice to bring one of my friends this time around. She has been extra weary over her husband's cancer and very long radiation therapy. It was such a nice respite for her. I loved taking the short hike to the overlook and creek. We enjoyed the star filled sky at night and good eats in town during the day. Having the comfiest beds ever, made for an amazing night's sleep. The coziness and warmth of this magical place brought so much healing. Thank you Lori for providing such lovey stay.

This home is the perfect example of why Airbnbs are better than hotels. Not all airbnbs are the same and we appreciated all the little details that made this a family friendly home - the playroom for the kids, kid sized kitchen items (cups, bowls, spoons, etc), board games, step stools, etc. Despite stores near by being closed for the winter season, we had everything we needed at the house to feel right at home- spices, coffee, soap, sponges, Tupperware for leftovers etc. We enjoyed playing in the snow, cuddling up by the fire, and playing board games. Highly recommend this Airbnb and it was even more spacious than I expected.

The rental was nestled in a community, but you felt like you didn’t have neighbors. The area was very clean and quiet. The grounds are well kept. The house was exactly as listed. The rooms were all clean. The kitchen had plenty of stuff if you prefer to cook in. The home is not far from Strawberry and the dining spots and shops within Pine. Also, you’re not far from places to hike and explore. If you’re looking for a slower paced low key atmosphere, this is definitely your spot. The host was responsive and we had no issues throughout the rental process!

This was a perfect spot to spend the night while in town for work, very homie feeling, lots of space and amenities, and very well kept for an amazing value! Host was pleasant to speak with and was very quick to respond. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great stay for our weekend getaway out of the city. There was wildlife that came close to the house that we could enjoy watching. Walks around the area were beautiful and sitting by the fire pit at night was awesome. It was great to see the stars at night. We will definitely pick Elias's place again..

The place was really what we were looking for,family and kid friendly.The house was well maintained with great space,all on same floor and it looked super big. The nice yard area was spacious, serene and quiet.We really enjoyed our stay.The check-in instructions were very clear and host were super responsive whenever needed. Overall great experience

This place was such an amazing place to have a little family vacation, felt like we were at home and had everything we needed. The outdoor part of the cabin was beautiful as well, we were able to do a fire with the kiddos and take long nature walks which as a family we love to do.
