Great place for a family reunion. Loved that the fire was set and ready to go. Kim was flexible with our checkin and needs. Fully fitted out kitchen and very homely. Great views

Justine's place is a lovely, relaxing spot in a beautiful setting. It's a bit removed from restaurants and stores, so bring provisions. Justine is very helpful and responsive. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, it's a perfect place to relax in solitude, build a fire, and gaze out across the landscape

Brandon Greg's place is an older style house, which is really spacious and warm. bedrooms, lounge and deck are huge. kitchen is great, and we cooked a few meals. the master bedroom is big enough for its own lounge, with 2 comfortable single chairs and a fold out couch-bed. Well suited our family of 4.

Really happy with this accommodation. There was a cold snap and the heat pump heated up the place very quickly. The bunk room is at the back and down some stairs and so is a bit chillier but the extra heater in there was welcome. And the extra blankets were appreciated too. Loved how clean this place was - compliments to the cleaners! The host was great with communication- we didn’t need to call in them but it was nice to know they were available for any issues.

Lovely homey cottage in Waikawa. Our family of 5 enjoyed the 3 bedrooms, the living room, and nice wood stove, the peaceful surroundings. Well situated to explore the western parts of the Catlins. The house had good cooking equipment, helpful as we cooked there every night. As instructed, we came fully loaded with food for 3 days. Wonderful star gazing and total silence at night.
